Animal Crossing Issues...

I just finished catching up on all the posts. I received AC for Christimas and am just getting into it. My youngest DD is also playing with me. I just wanted to thank all of you for all the great tips for the game. I couldn't figure out how to get the turnips that all of you were talking about. But I found out how by reading all of your posts. I have managed to get the golden shovel. I was very impressed. Now, I want to know how I cut down the trees. And I would love to be able to visits other towns, if someone would let me. My town isn't very impressive yet but I would love to have visiters, especially if they could give me advice on how to spruce it up.

Thanks so much! We will be over when we are up and running. Sadly, our town is not worthy of any visits. We need to do some serious chopping and replanting.

How do you get the paths? I think my DS read in the book giving Wendell fish?? How do we find Wendell? Seriously we have no clue...I spent my first Sunday home going back and forth to the City looking for Joan and then my DS said oh she is in OUR town. Oops!

Same, lol.

I dont really go on much because of school and stuff. I do go on every weekend

I know quite a few of you have it already, but I just want to say that I love the tiara hair, mine is bright pink .

Also just wanted to know if anyone has seen all of the characters that visit your town. I am on for about an hour everyday so I don't think I could have missed them but I have never seen.

Quirky - we're playing Saturday. Sunday we'll be at Disneyland most of the day and all evening.

Also, I'm not sure of the AC etiquette. Is it OK for me to just pop into a friend's town if I see that friend has his/her gate open? Also, how do I know if the gate is open ... just ask the gatekeeper guy? Or does that heart next to my friend's name indicate it too? So far I have only seen an open heart (vs. a filled in heart).

I have all fruit except for peaches which I am more than willing to donate or trade. I have Nookingtons ... and ask away if there is anything you might need/want.

Argh - I had to go to one of those small video game stores to get one last night. Their computer system was whacky and I actually had to wait about 40 minutes for them to fix it so they could sell their last Wiispeak to me. They couldn't believe that I was waiting for it ... I told them about my addiction and I think they felt sorry for me

Wow you are so lucky, but it also must hae been a lot of work. My town keeps getting D+'s I know what I have to do to fix it but it takes such a long time. At the moment I am trying to create paths to keep everything inorder and that is taking forever. I also like to hoard my flowers near my home to make it look pretty instead of distributing them out across the town. On my holidays I am going to make a big effort to make my town perfect.

Just luck! I didn't do paths, just planted trees where I thought they should be and planted flowers in between - I didn't even check in with the town environment to see how we were doing. The flower was there first before I even knew it was perfect. I'm so thrilled!!

DH's house is surrounded by flowers. He's like you. But we've managed to get to perfect even though - I was very surprised.
