I was shocked to see how much I got for my red turnip. After one week (and a day) I dug it up and sold it for 16,000 bells!!!!

I have bought 3 paintings from Redd, and all of them were fake.

I think my chocolate came from an animal, in a letter. I wish I could remember for sure. I hope to get more. I just have one. I would like to know how to get more pantings. I don't want to buy them from Crazy Redd..LOL. Nooks had one today in our store, so I bought it and donated it to the museum. That is our one and only!

We bought the AC book yesterday. It is so cool! Has anyone met the pirate yet?
I just upgraded my house to a second floor and I caught 2 stringfish over the wekend. DH cought 2 tunas! He also bought the King Tut mask. It is so funny. If he runs fast, he falls over!

I haven't met the pirate yet. But i did fast forward my time till April and its the 8th so its the last day of my pink trees and on the 12th I get to dig up eggs

occurs in April and sometimes in March for UK players. Mother's Day will occur
at a different time depending on the game version. Mom will send you a letter
with a present attached (kinda backwards, but whatever.)

2009 date is the 12th, 2010 date is the 4th, sometimes occurs in March. This
is the Animal Crossing Easter, and you will be visited by Zipper T. Bunny, who
has hidden a number of eggs in your town. Dig around trees and houses randomly
and if you're lucky you'll find an egg, which you can crack open to get Bunny
Foil. Trade Foil with Zipper for Egg furniture and candy. There is a limited
number of eggs, so you may not be able to get the full set without cheating
Father Time or waiting until next year.

April 22 // Nature Day [NA]
Tortimer will give you a Cool Globe on this day. It falls on the same day as
Earth Day does in real life.

April, 4th Sunday // Flea Market
2009 date is the 26th, 2010 date is the 25th.

my update:

Lately I have been donating my fossils to the museum.. it's coming along pretty good. It's nice to see those dinasaurs propped up/hanging. I can't wait to see at least one dino complete from head to toe/tail.

The butterfly room would look really awesome when spring gets here. I want to donate some butterflies and bugs too.

Has anyone complete their Gyroids and making tunes in their house? I have about 8 different ones. I just picked one today and I am going to start collecting for Nebuloid- a party of 6. I can't wait to hear their tunes.

So, the other night, my BIL came to our town and we were playing. Then, my sister's new BF came to town. We told BL to take some fruit back to his town to plant. Then...sister's BF started looting our town and chopping down trees. He thought it was funny! DH was watching and was seriously kinda' mad! He said- Man, "BF" will never pass up "name of sister's x-BF (who we all loved!)" if he does crap like that! Then, we realized the Wii speak was on! That's what you get, I suppose!

That's awful! I wouldn't be letting him back into my town. You do have an option if something like that happens, though. You can just turn off the Wii or bring up the Wii menu and hit "reset" once the visitor starts messing up your town. It will reset the game to the point before the visitor got there, so it will be like they were never there. It will boot them back to their town. You'll get yelled at by Ressetti and you'll lose whatever progress you made while he was there, but it won't hurt your game and it will save your trees.

(That is hilarious about Wii Speak, though. He deserved whatever he heard, just for being such a jerk!)

3Leafs -- Thanks for all the green stuff! I have everything now except for the green pantry and the green wardrobe. One is a spotlight item and the other is only sold at Redd's, so I may be waiting for those two pieces for a while!

Two of my nieces also have ACCF so we send a lot of items back and forth. DS has all of the robo-stuff except the closet (another of Redd's specials). DD has almost all of the kiddie furniture (Redd got the kiddie bed in yesterday), so we're really cleaning up on points from the HRA. One niece has almost all of the lovely furniture (way too pink for my taste!)

And today I caught a pop-eyed goldfish! I was sad that I had to donate it to the museum, but it was the first one and that's the rule. Then DD caught one and put it in her house I'm hoping that now that we've caught a couple, it'll be easier to catch one to keep in my house. DD and I also finally got the 2nd floor on our houses -- DH and DS don't play as much so they've just gotten the 2nd expansion of the first floor.

Oh, and we finally got our third bridge -- it makes getting around so much easier. But we have almost no snow left anymore -- I want to do the time travel thing, but everyone else keeps buying turnips, and we all know what happens to turnips when you time-travel.

Are there any specific fossils people are looking for? We've completed quite a few of them and we're getting a lot of doubles, so if we can help someone else out, let us know. We need the amber, then the upstairs gallery is done. Blathers has finally stopped complaining about the lack of exhibits and seems quite pleased with the musuem's progress, thank goodness!

I love the Wii speak because I type so slowly. The kids come in, though, and start chatting away, "Hi, Uncle!" Blah, blah, blah...don't they know mommy is doing something important?

Well I finally broke down and bought the game today! My dad had a coupon for Best Buy so I figured I might as well use it! I just started my town and am still getting used to everything but I can see how this can get addicting. haha

Hi!

I am posting in hope of finding some AC-CF friends. We have had the game since Christmas and my DD and I are addicted. She has been begging me to let her get some friend codes but I was a bit nervous about it until I thought to check here. I was thrilled to see this thread!

DD is 12 and I am 40-ish and our town has cherries (native), peaches, apples, pears and coconuts. You can pick and take as many as you would like and shop to your hearts content. Not sure what else can be done while visiting other towns? I would also love to trade turnip price info as the stalk market is my latest obsession. After a long bout of time traveling (so Mom could get the golden fishing rod!) we are set back to today's date. Would welcome the opportunity to have some visitors and see what other towns are like. We have a Wii Speak and will hook it up if need be.

Hope to hear from someone soon who would like to exchange friend codes.

It's been a while since I checked in. I had to take a few weeks break from AC as I wasn't getting anything done around the house. My family was getting cranky with me after several days in a row of no dinner.

I'd be so ticked if someone came into my town and started chopping down my trees and making a mess! Heck I got upset when I found dd cutting down some trees. She wanted to see how to work the ax and cleared a whole area before the ax broke and just left the stumps. Now she knows not to mess with my (I mean our) town.

Fruits: Cherries native, and we have all the others (apples, pears, peaches and coconuts) from mailing neighbors cherries and getting other fruits back. You can fish, pick as much fruit as you want (fill your pockets multiple times with any of the fruits if you'd like), buy/sell turnips at Nookington's, take stuff from Lost and Found and the Recycling Bin, visit our houses....really whatever you'd like as long as you don't chop down trees or pick flowers without asking. I have a brown thumb in real life and it seems to have carried over to the game so each flower that is alive for more than 3 days is a triumph! Feel free to pick weeds too. I try to stay on top of them but sometimes the urge to time travel to play the stalk market takes control of me and then I get stuck with a bunch more!

Please PM me if you'd like to add us and send us your code - I have PM'd several people as well. Also, let us know any special rules you might have. We won't chop trees or pick flowers but let me know if there are any other things you don't want us to do - dig, fish, shop, etc.
