Does time traveling and going back affect the brown spots in the grass?

Anyone know how long it takes a money tree to 'produce'? I cut down a non-fruit tree, planted 30K bells, then saved and went to the next day. Tree grew a bit, so I thought that was a good sign, played that day, saved and reset the date for the next day. Tree grew a bit more, left it alone, played the day then saved and moved ahead a day and had a full tree, so I shook it and nothing happened. So I saved again and went to the next day, nothing...tree is bare, and I did try shaking it. Any suggestions? This was the first money tree I tried to plant. I had read somewhere that if you plant 30K (the max) you had a better chance of having the tree produce.

I haven't played in awhile and when I do play I usually play a few days at a time. It hasn't been an issue before, but could it be now? Any other suggestions?

Not all the trees will turn into money trees. I planted 5 different money trees and only 1 produced money. It takes 4 days to become fully "ripe". Hope that helps.

Weekend Update.....LOL!

It's been hot here too - 80 and humid which is a shock to our system since we just left Winter behind. I refuse to turn on the AC in April (always try to go as long as possible because I am cheap) so we have been sweating and have all of the fans going.


Diane - congrats on the perfect town!! Once I hit the perfect for the first time, I just planted more flowers every day, especially in bare areas.


T - so sorry to hear about your tooth....OUCH!!!!

Had Shay and Jenny over last night and this morning Matt came to visit and then I went to his town. Great fun and had a blast talking with his family. We are planning to meet up again in a couple of hours for some K.K. (wonders if K.K. will sing in a Scottish accent.......)

Diane, thanks for visiting the other day. I tried to come visit you but my router decided to not like the world until hubby managed to get it to respond a few hours later. Yea wireless.

Hi Keri! Isn't this weather crazy. Just typical for MO to go from winter to summer I refuse to turn on the AC too! It has been hot in this darn house tho!

We always try to make it until June without AC but if we hit 90 with high humidity, I'll cave and turn it on no matter what month it is...LOL!! Today feels a bit cooler here.

The worst part of this time of year is the storms. They had weather coverage here the entire evening. The local weather we watch had a chopper in the air following a cell that had rotation and they caught a funnel dropping and then followed the actual tornado for at least 20 minutes. Luckily, it was all in a rural area but it got pretty close to some towns and it did take out some farm buildings. They even captured it crossing I-70! They had a crew on the ground that had to leave their car and crawl into a ditch on I-70 with about 8 other people. They had footage and estimate the tornado was at most, 50 yards away from them at that point. We just got lots of thunder and lightening here though.

DD actually made herself a bed in the tub/shower last night - she is petrified of storms ever since we had a super close call with a tornado ( middle of the night touch down several blocks from our house) and the winds from it snapped a tree in our yard which hit our roof. Poor thing HATES spring.

Since we are not native to the area, the big storms make me pretty nervous too.

Okaaay....that was a bit of a tangent. Sorry!

After dealing with my very tired and talkative three year old, your son was probably a breath of fresh air. I also wanted to thank Keri for having us over. My little one barely stopped talking the entire time we were there.

Hi guys Just checking in.. We have been so busy with Hockey and baseball its not funny. On saturday I literally woke up at 5am and left the house by 6am and didn't get home till 7pm. LONG DAY! Yesterday we left the house at 8am and didn't get done till 6pm. But I did manage to book a camping trip up north (we live in Michingan) I am going to Mackinac Island for the first time. I am so excited. We are going with 2 other families. Should be a fun trip.

My ds6 played all by himself last night (he's autistic) and he caught a blue marlin. This was the first time he has ever fished. I was so excited and jealous.. I have been trying to catch that fish since I started He was so cute he was like mom I caught a shark with a long nose.. So yes playing AC is good therapy. Its great for your fine motor skills.. So now we can all justify playing

I don't always turn my Wii speak on. It depends on what is going on in my house. My oldest dog is going blind, so she seems to bark at more things...then ther other dog chimes in and well, I am sure you all don't want to hear that......or my kids fighting when they get home from school, or saying "Mom, why are you playing that again"
