Wow, I’ve avoided the controversial topics boards because I don’t need additional reasons to fight with strangers on the internet, but I can’t even imagine how one earns an “involuntary vacay” (lol) there.

I'm curious if anyone has any good songs to add to an "angry" playlist. I tend to listen to a lot of 80s and 90s music. Lots of "chick" singers (think Tori Amos, Aimee Mann, The Chicks, etc.) And some alternative and pop music. I haven't had a proper "angry playlist" in probably 20 years.

Typically when I'm angry, I'll listen to mellow music.

But other times, like right now, I think I'd rather just go with the anger.

It doesn't need to be death metal or anything like (and I prefer it to not be...ha!) Just something with some angry undertones.

Examples of some songs I like when I'm pissed off....
"Get Over It" by Ok Go
"I Know the End" by Phoebe Bridgers (mainly for the screaming at the end of the song.)
"Not Ready to Make Nice" by The Chicks
"Zombie" by The Cranberries
"Only Happy When it Rains" by Garbage

Any suggestions? I feel I'm going to need it this week.

Anger is toxic both mentally and physically and also not good to those around the angry person. First step is to recognize one has anger issues. Seems you have and that’s a good thing.
For songs:
YMCA, Made in America, Proud to be an American. Anyone would like those songs.

Yeah...you can get temporarily kicked off the controversial section or permanently banned. It's quite a feat considering the only actual rules are no personal attacks and no hate speech based on race, sexuality, etc. It's actually an interesting forum and has helped me get to know some really great people here.

Oh my... dust in the wind... I would really like to know about this song choice

It's a song that I often hear or will listen to when a loved one passes. Different type of anger (angry to no longer have them here) and not the typical anger as mentioned in the OP.
