Oh man! That's terrible, Gail. Hope you can get someone out to fix it.

I'm off to take David "the cripple" to school and Amy to the orthodontist. David's on crutches for the next couple of days. He isn't going to Stillwater for today's swim meet because there is no way he could compete. And since it's his driving foot I'm on double taxi duty again.

I'll check in when I get back later this morning.

Yikes, Gail that doesnt sound like fun.
Cold here today. I am really dreading taking Sam to the bus stop. Other than that, I think we will be staying in. I am still working on cleaning out my scrapbook area. I have so much stuff I dont (or wont) ever use. Hopefully I can make some good monry selling some of it.
The Drama Queen had the angio yesterday and everything looked fine. They still cant figure out what is causing her breathing problems though. She has both a lung and heart specialst working with her, and they are each blaming the other one.
Off to find the riddle....have a good day all :)

Good morning Angels and TMWLT.

Gail I am glad Lew is safely home. He must really enjoy Elkton to make a habit of it.

Carol - was the waiter at least cute? was he hitting on Sarah?
We ended up with the waiter, the manager, and the guy who brought the plates out all at the table helping. They were all young men in their early 20's. Never thought about it that way.

Steph, the floor looks very nice. I like the wood.

I was watching AI last night. Thought maybe I would watch so I could join in on your discussions. Andrew came through and said, "You're watching American Idol? Did the DIS get you to do that?" He is too perceptive.

Gail, do you need one of these...

Cold here today too.

If I am not here as much as I used to be it is because I am working more hours and trying to do some real life things away from the computer. I am not leaving to go to another site.

Off to work.

All this bathroom talk and we're having plumbing problems! We have only one and the toilet isn't working right now. Home repairs haven't worked and since it's been so cold most of the area plumbers are dealing with frozen pipes and no heat. (I can appreciate that but geeze....if ya gotta go then ya gotta go!) Last night we went next door but the neighbors aren't early risers so at 7 I took the kids to Stop & Shop to use the facilities there!!!

But in the words of the Senior Mr Barrone - Holy Crap!

My oil man was here at 8:15, good thing I was up to pay him. Sadie was wandering all over, and woke me. I put her up on my bed, she passed out. Porr little girl is just so cold and lost............

Today I will register the car, I would get it washed but it's 13, yikes! Pete will be home about 9:30, I hope he sleeps well, as he needs to be rested for tomorrows trip.

Carol, I just now remembers one time I got a glass of wine poured down my back by a clumsy waitress. She offered me free dessert, but no appolgy. At in Nassau once, we were at the magician show at the then Merv Griffin Casino (now Atlantis) and the guy swept his cape around and knocked a glass of water all over me, in a white silk dress. No apploagy there, either. No comp, nothing. I think Elaine has it right, the wait staff was flirting with her!

Everyone else, stay warm and have a great day doing what ever you are going to do.

Sorry for the almost double post, but I just saw this and it reminded me of someone.............

.....Joan Fragala [and her 19-y-o son Travis] in your prayers. Travis, a student at Montclair State University, suddenly passed January 17. After a party with several friends, he was inebriated, dropped off at home, and never made it inside his house, where subsequently he was found deceased the next morning, frozen to death. It was quite a loss and quite a shock. So please, warn your teens and young adults about the hazards of drinking so another senseless death doesn't happen.:(

Gail - Sounds like you need a plumber.

It's usually best if you call them at the crack of dawn.....

Lorraine - Aren't you glad you asked where the WM were???

Steph - I wasn't even thinking along these lines but you know it doesn't take much to get me started....

:p

Ack.... forgot about those days of frozen pipes, no water, and all... this must be causing a flurry (no pun intended) of action for all in those trades, and hard to find.

Good luck with the potty. You can use SSB's, if need be... as no frozen pipes in Disney... :)

Gail - I think you need to check into a hotel soon! I would dread to be w/o a bathroom!

Marsha - just whom are you referring to w/ that smilie?:scared:

Lou - I'm so glad you guys aren't MIA somewhere - we really need your potty humor around here. :teeth:

Kimmar - that is a sad story about that young man.

MP - hope David is getting around school o.k. on those crutches.

Bethany - maybe the Drama Queen just isn't seeing the right doctor!

Carol - i watched AI last night and laughed so hard at some of those contestants. I also watched Big Fat Fiance too, I don't know why - i guess the commercials were getting me interested.

:wave2: everyone else!

Toilet's fixed.....but not before I had to take a ride to the library to use the facilities.

Did you need to show your library card?

Hi everyone! Miss me? :p

Isn't that "Miss me" a line from Young Frankenstein? ALan, you must have been being kept busy at work.

Gail, thank goodness the crapper is corrected. How do you do it with one bathroom and 4 people? We can harly manage with just us 2!

Woo Hooo, it's warmed up to 20, I am waiting untill 2ppm to go out, that should be the warmest part of today.

Alan - how was your weekend?

Gail - you are just hitting all the toilets in town aren't you!

Ironically my mom lives alone and has 2 bathrooms....just a bit too far away for an early morning visit!

No, I didn't have to show my library card and I didn't even have to use those little scraps of paper they put near the catalogs so you can write down the location of a book! I haven't hit all the toilets in town....yet.....but I know most rest areas on I-95....from Maine to Florida!

Thanks to all my friends for being so supportive in my time of need!!! :listen: :scratchin :rotfl:

I missed you Alan! ::yes::

That's frAHN-ken-Stein and it has been waaaay too long since I have seen that movie. I don't even remember the reference to "miss me" so I'll need to rent it sometime.

Mrs. AA really enjoyed the Beth Moore conference in Mobile and I did surprisingly well with the girls Friday and Saturday.

Yesterday was a holiday from work so I was not online for quite some time but did read through all the posts finally...whew!

It's good to be back...although Lou seemed to have everything under control. ;)

It's cold here, but we don't have to worry about anything being frozen thankfully!

Yep ALan, you will have to re see it. Igor to the fiance. I just love that movie, I could watch it weekly. So many good lines, I think one of Mel Brooks best works. High ANxiety was also well written, but no where near as funny.

Guess I should go get the hair in rollers, make up on and a plan of action to get the errands of the day done.

I am craving something warm and sweet, but not necessarily chocolate. Anyone have any ideas? I can't figure it out, other than it is not in my cabinets here.

Marsha - i LOVE that movie too! I still remember my mom taking us to see it. I have the VHS of it. I wonder if the DVD has bloopers from the making of since I remember seeing some.
The Abby Normal (i think that is what it was called) brain still makes me laugh!
