Angels & their wonderful men...a new thread for a new year!!!

Finally had a minute to go back and look at Bethany's pages. They are great! I love looking at a friend's pages. I always seem to get some good ideas. Were the Christmas balls die cuts or did you paper piece them? They were so cute!

I get to sleep in a bit tomorrow. No school - yippeee! I may be running David to have his ankle checked out. It's pretty sore and swollen. I'm not too worried about it, but it might help to have a doctor's note as far as his speed getting to classes and also Tuesday's swim meet. It's really going to hurt if he has to swim with it swollen like it is.

I'm heading to bed. Put fresh flannel sheets on it tonight. Anyone else love crawling into a freshly made bed? I'd love to have clean sheets every day. :p 'Night to all of you. :wave2:

Good morning all! Quiet morning here... hope all of you off today enjoy sleeping in :)

Good Morning All

Never got a chance to check in yesterday. We skipped church in the morning, a little bit icy out, thought I'd better stay in.
The attic is finally finished, completely empty! DH can start raising that roof now whenever's he's ready.

Took my mom to see "Along Came Polly" yesterday. I highly recommend this movie, it was hysterical!

Bethany, Great Pages!! Isn't it amazing how fast time flies when you're scrapbooking?? I'm all caught up, just finished the Christmas pages.

I'm finally back to work this morning after a week off. Still got this darn cough though.

Sorry, I don't have more time for a proper catch up.

Have a great day!

Good morning all. I got up really early to do the dog duty, saw Pete out the door, riddled, got mooned, and went back to bed. Now I am up an have things to do, but it is soooooooooo cold. I would like to crawl back into the bed, flannel sheets and all, but I guess I best hop in the shower, find 6 sweaters to wear, and go out.

MP, that is one nive thing about business travel, the sheets got changed daily. While that is nice, I always let the maids remake the bed in WDW while I am there, I change mine once a week here, that is good eneoughfor me there, too.

CS, you sure stay up late! Do you work till late andthen get to DIS?

Sandi, take before pictures, and during and after, then send them to HGTV, maybe they will show them on "Before and After". I wanted to add 10 feet to the back of my house ion AZ, but never did it. You are a brave woman, living inthe remodeling mess.

Gail, is Lew home yet? Guess it's a little early.

Bethany, you are really good at the scrap booking stuff. Me, I take digital pictures and store them on imagstation. I have huge boxes of prints, I never get them into albums. Bad habit, among others!

Hello to everyone else who is lurking from work or home. Stay warm.

Morning!

Lew's somewhere between MD and RI.....he'll arrive later this afternoon. Too bad we weren't single at the same time Marsha...we could have found something to do together! :D

Hope that cough is gone soon Sandi. :(

Nice scrapbook pages Bethany!

I'm home today so I'll check back later. :wave2:

Thanks for all the compliments everyone,
and to you Sandi  Im just finishing up 2002.
I still havent put the finishing touches on my 2002 WDW album either. And we are heading back in less than 2 months. YIKES. I need to do some serious work on the WDW album, I would really like to have it done before the next trip.

Don't feel bad Bethany, I'm WAY behind on my pages. I have about the last 2 years AND about 6 years of pictures from before I started scrapping. David says I'll never get to his baby pictures. :teeth: I figure when both kids are driving and I'm no longer the taxi, I may start to get caught up.

Marsha, I'd never actually change them every day, but they sure feel nice and fresh. Hope you can think of something fun to do and stay warm.

Sandi, the cough lasts forever! I'm finally almost finished with it. Hope you get rid of it quicker than I did. The movie looks cute. Glad to know you liked it. I may have to go see it. When do you think he'll start the remodeling?

Hope Lew gets home safely and soon.

Better run and find the riddle. I'm sure late checking it out today.

Matt just got a call from his new baseball coach...he was chosen for a Major level team!!!

:jumping1:

You all might find this weird, but I actually don't like the way sheets feel when they are first put on the bed. I don't know why but it bothers me. I prefer them on the second night actually. Weird, huh?

Sandi, I hope your cough doesn't linger too long!!!

Gail, I hope Lew has a safe drive back home today :) And a big big congratulations to Mat!!!! :bounce: :bounce:

Paper Bliss die cuts. I love the stuff that has all the work done for you. Although they look easy enough to do, it is worth the couple $$ to save the time.

I have from July 1998-most of 2002 done. I still have to do married life before Sam (10 years), and the 21 years from before I was married. Granted I dont have as many pictures, but I still have enough to do a few albums.

Afternoon All!

I was so tired after the party yesterday that I just now got to catching up here.

Bethany - loved the scrapbooking pages - just don't have the energy to do it myself.

Gail - hope Lew makes it home safely and a BIG CONGRATS to Matt! Woo Hoo!!!

Marsha - enjoy your quiet alone time! DH hasn't had to go away for a long time, I hope he gets something soon!

Sandi - hope you are done w/ that cough soon - I always have them for about 3 weeks.

The party went well yesterday, but I have lots of food leftover. Guess what is for dinner tonight?! Today has been just a lazy day for me. I woke up at 3 this morning and had a hard time falling back to sleep. I hate when I have millions of thoughts running through my head. Going to watch American Idol tonight. I love watching the people that think they know how to sing.

Hey!!! I resemble that remark!

Congrats to Matt, our future Cy Yuong award winner!

Well I drove to the nearest Costco, only 17 miles, which is fine. Got everything on my list, and some extra stuff, of course. Now I am starving, and even tho there is tons of food in the house, none of it appeals to me. Must be all the Dunkin Doughnut drive throughs I saw. SB, send some leftovers, maybe that will do the trick.

Elaine, Pete hates crisp sheets, he doesn't mind the flannel ones or the T shirt ones on the first night, but he hates, hates, hates regular sheets. I even have cootton sateen which are soft, but he hates them, too.

I am going to see if there is anything I want to eat, if not, guess I can call 99 Pub and pick up coconut shrimp or something else yummy.

I do too Marsha, but at least I KNOW that I can't sing well and would never go on national TV or even an audition. I just can't understand that people don't realize that they sing awful.

Marsha - my Mom made some good Mexican lasagne that will be my dinner leftover. Wish you lived closer!

Now I know why I don't sing in front of people... I'd hate for you all to critique me and laugh at the way I sing ;) :p I do find it amusing when people really can't sing and then are shocked when they are told they are terrible... you'd think by then they would have figured it out ;)

Marsha, that is exactly it with sheets. I don't like them crisp! I haven't done flannel because they are too warm, but I haven't tried the t-shirt ones yet. I just like them soft and cool feeling but that's hard to get.

Good afternoon everyone.

Sarah had a dermatologist appt this morning. DH and I both took her then we all went out for lunch after at a restaurant we wanted to try. Got Sarah's lunch for free. Of course she did have to have the waiter accidentally dump a coke in her lap. It was a little cold for her walking back to the car.

Gail, Congrats to Matt on the baseball placement. I am sure he is excited. BTW, Lew has a nice clear day to drive home. And traffic is pretty light on 95 too.

I am not crazy about crisp sheets but with a waterbed it is always nicer the first night when the sheets are tucked in the tightest.

Wel I best go do something productive.

See ya later.:wave2:
