I am craving something warm and sweet, but not necessarily chocolate. Anyone have any ideas? I can't figure it out, other than it is not in my cabinets here.
Cinnamon rolls!!!!! :D

I loved Young Frankenstein too. "Ah, sweet mystery of life at last I've found you!"

Another Young Frankenstein fan here.

Sed-a-give Give him a sedagive?

SB The DVD has loads of outtakes and bloopers. Worth it just for that.

"Put the candle back"

Next you can get me started on Stripes!

Lou - thanks for the info. I never saw Stripes since I am not a Bill Murray fan. I also thought that Spaceballs was hysterical.

DH loves silly comedies. We have tons of Mel Brooks, Monty Python, Bill Murray, Steve Martin, Mr. Bean, etc on DVD. The kids think they are hysterical. We even have Faulty Towers on DVD.

Glad the toilet is fixed. I've been thinking of you Gail every time I went into the bathroom. Probably NOT the way you'd like to be remembered, but true.

I'm rethinking dinner. Amy's ortho said this was the toughest wire she's ever had on her braces and they put on a chain. I bet the poor kid won't be able to chew by dinner. I was grilling pork chops tonight, but I don't think that's a wise choice. Off to the pantry to see what I have that's softer.

They are still predicting snow tonight. Maybe an inch or so. I just hope it's not ice. That is what we usually seem to get and I HATE driving on it.

Perhaps you could fix her something else on the side for her.

"Pork chops and apple sauce..swell!"

Pronounced on the particular episode as "Pork chopchs and apple sauche..schwell"

Now which show was that TV fans? :p

It was 'The Brady Bunch'..a conversation between Peter & Carol if I'm remembering correctly.............

I can hear it in my head............

maybe Alice

No, but she was on the show! :p

Not Linda Lavin, but Alice the housekeeper. Laura pegged it first!

Lars googles Alice? Or even Peter or Mrs. Brady???

None of those really sound good, do they?

I'll bet Sam the butcher googled Alice though!

Don't you all remember when Bobby was afraid of getting the mumps from kissing Mary Ingalls???? or when.....

'Its like going to Wisconsin, you zip right in and zip right out'
'The Aunt Jemima Treatment' ;)
'I rarely wear underwear, and when I do......"
my favorite was Frances, although if I try to quote the whole thing I will mess it up. 'NO ONE calls me Frances.....'

Bethany, Pete always laughed at the "Aunt Jemima" treatment.

Another sucessful day here in cold NH. Got the car and the dogs registered, and picked up the dry cleaning. And I registered to vote, so I can be one of those NH early primary voters. And I may work at the polls, they do it on an hourly basis, so I could go in, and come home for the pooches and go back.

Gail, my sister suggested the same thing. I ended up at the Drive Thru at Dunkin DOughnuts and got a caramel latte. It was rather yummy.

Pete should be home in about an hour and a half, he gets to open his present box from his mother. I wonder if he brought me a Lincoln suvenier? I actually wonder if there is a Lincoln suvenier!

Have a fun evening.

Evening all... busy busy day at work!!! Y'all have been very chatty today though... but made me laugh!!!

My driveway was a sheet of ice today so I almost didn't make it in the garage. Now I am off to find dinner. Have a great evening all :)

I had a busy day at work too, but sometimes busy is better than being bored all day.

Lenny and Logan are visiting with a Boy Scout troop tonight. There are two in the area that he can choose to go into. I'm pretty sure that this one tonight is the one that Logan will choose. I can't believe he will be a Boy Scout in just two months!

Leah is working on her homework so we can watch American Idol tonight. Carol - Andrew's remark to you about the show was hilarious! (And right on the mark, too!) Now if we could only get you to watch reality TV every night, his head would really be spinning!

I planted the idea of a Disney cruise in Lenny's head the other day. Got to start them off slow... then make them think like it was all their idea in the first place. Lou, Brian, Alan, John - am I right??? No need to answer - we know we are right! Next year will be our 15th anniversary, and we did a cruise and WDW for our honeymoon.

Are we doing favorite sitcom/movie lines? Who can identify where this came from - and NO SB you can't guess! "Lucky, lucky, for the next 15 minutes, everything comes with pancakes!" and "Betty, pick up please. Betty, please pick up!"

Evening All!

Tried to check in when I got home and wasn't able to get in at all!
Went to the gym right after work and did my running and biking, now I'm in for the night. Had a ton of chili leftover so I didn't have to cook either!!

I need to work on my Wedding Guest List and type it up with addresses.
Weather is more of the same for the week, cold and snowy!

Nope! This episode is a favorite one among my sisters and I. We always laugh when we talk about it.
