Gail, I am so jealous. clickhere for a nice picture of near where you will be. Have a great trip.

Lou, you are so funny.

Today I am ging to try to get to the PO and mail a box to E!, I tried before Christmas, I got the name and street correct, but I put Breezy's town and zip. Needless to say, I got it back. Sheesh. Then I am going out with the realtor to look at houses. We love the TH, but several listing came on the market yesterday that may suit us better, price and dog wise. I think I will be wearing so many layers that I will have to lie down on the back seat!

Carol, don't let the guys get to you, remember, the Angels in Uniform are just a PM away. Be afraid guys, be very afraid.

I have been following the antics here, but have been so busy getting ready for girl scout meeting last night that I couldn't play too! lol

Cold and snowy.
2 hour delay! YAY!

DD still sleeping on her last day to be 9!
Can't believe she will be 10 tomorrow. Double digits as she says.
She is taking Krispy Kremes to school tomorrow. (Yay - I don't have to bake!) She is just having three friends sleepover on Saturday night. (DH says her Disney trip was her present: so we are NOT calling it a party, ;) ) I have been calling it a sleepover so he doesn't know! SHHHHH!;) ;)

HI LK and SB; tonight I am going to a dinner for my boss who is leaving and it is at the Outback Steakhouse at PNC Park. My question is: Where should I park????? I want the closest possible. I am going with Sue so we will split parking costs. I just don't want to have to walk far in this cold!!!!!

Stay warm today everyone!

 to Carol, Gail, Steph, Lars, Merry, E, Lou, AA, SSB, Bethany,
Gaspode, Sandi, CS, and anyone else. (sorry if I missed someone). Have a good day!

Donna

 to Marsha too.

(sorry, you snuck in on me: didn't want you to feel left out)

Donna, aren't you a little old to be a Girl Scout? Oh well, if you're selling cookies you might want to try Carol. She claims to be an easy sell......

Donna, you might be able to park right on the street if you are getting there after 6. If not, there is a parking lot on General Robinson right across the street from PNC Park. There is also a parking garage on General Robinson that is between PNC Park and Finnegan's Wake. Have fun!

Thanks, LK!

Sorry Carol, you didn't even speak and it got turned around on you!

And Lou, I am the very important Girl Scout LEADER!
It is like a full time job. Planning, paperwork, shopping for meetings. I know you guys will have fun with this but: Last night we did what we called "bungy painting". We filled old pantyhose with uncooked rice or spaghetti and then dabbed it in paint. The girls stood over their poster board and let the paint "bungy" down onto it with the pantyhose. It made really cool prints. (I saw it in Family Fun magazine). THey had a great time doing it.

As for cookies, I ( oops, I mean, DD) am taking orders, ;) ;) !

Sorry, I interrupt this angel thread for a minute to say:

Wasn't that uncomfortable (not to mention messy)?????

Gee, and I thought Marsha had some weird stuff going on with the pearls and Good Housekeeping.....yeesh! :p

I forgot to post some very important news. Yesterday Sarah received her first college acceptance letter. She was accepted into West Chester University. It was her "safety school" but we were all quite excited.

BTW, I am getting VERY close to 5000.

Chatty little group this morning!!!

Sandi, I remember about your friend, but I too don't recall about her dad dying as well. I am just glad that they will get to go on vacation like that!! Absolutley wonderful! Feel better soon :)

LOL, Marsha, I still get a kick out of the address thing... mostly because that is something I have been known to do :p Stay warm!!!

YAY Donna! Warm weather is right around the corner for you!!!

Congratulations to Sarah!!!! I am sure other letters will be on their way soon :)

Good morning everyone!

Sandi, I'm so glad your friend has friends like you and the vacation donor!

Lou thanks for filling my head with visual images that I just don't need.....

Gail, if there was no insult taken then we just may have to stick with the nickname...it's just so much fun. I hope you have a shluberific trip!

Of course my DD was watching Chitty Chitty Bang Bang before leaving for school this morning. I thought of you!!

Lots of meetings today...I'll drop in when I can.

I didn't post about her dad dying, that's why you don't remember. He died Christmas Eve and I got the call Christmas morning.:(

Congrats To Sarah!! It's so exciting when they start coming in!!

Yikes! Look at the time! :earseek: I've been sitting here DISing and playing solitaire, I forgot that I need to get ready for work. :o

The following message is brought to you by Laura's boss and coworkers:

Alan - thank goodness at least I came into work so that everyone could get their paychecks! Now all LK has to do is eat lunch and DIS!;)

Sandi - what a wonderful thing for that family to go to WDW after all the sad times recently. I hope you are feeling better soon.

FM - I forgot about our kids having their b'days on the same day!:Pinkbounc :bounce:

Carol - congrats to your DD on getting her first acceptance letter - I'm sure there will be many more to come.

Marsha - hope you find a house that will have everything you are looking for.

Keep warm everyone!

Hey LK, from the looks of your signature, I would say you are playing the part of the EVIL TWIN right now.

I got that message a few weeks ago with my dancing Happy New Year signature.

Count me in that group too as I had 8 lines of text in my signature (now modified to have the trips run together).

What a bunch of rebel rousers we are!

Now Carol if you just reply to this you will be at 5,000!

Keep warm....or at least keep warm thoughts!

The Mustang and I went to the PO, success! Then we went to Walgreens to get a little journal for today, as my others are "somewhere" and I am not going to look for them. It seems warmer today, no wind, even though the weather bug says minus 4. I am going to print out the listings, then make a page for each one, take digital pictures of the neighborhood, and get Mr Indesisive to make a decision, either we keep the TH and sign our life away next week, whilst looking all the while, or we give up the TH, get back our lot hold deposit, and continue to look. At least looking gets me out of the house.

Such antics on the thread!

Carol, great news for Sarah. I remember when my son got his one and only acceptance letter, we were thrilled.

Oooooh, LK is in trouble.................... I notice they are cracking down again, guess they want the servers to be a little cleaner.

Sandi, such a nice friend you are. I hope your friends family enjoys their trip. I love the OKW area. Sometimes getting away from everything is a good step in the healing process.

Lou and Alan, due to the mental image of shirtwaist dress and pearls causing you mental anguish, I would like to report that I am currently wearing one of my favorite outfits............ Black Leather Pants, Black Sweater, and Black Lace Up Ropers. That should wiope out the Barba Billingsly thoughts!
