Well, this is a great place, and it looks like we will all be home soon.
I believe I can comment on time in WDW, I have been there in August about 6 times and in June about 6 times, and it really didn't seem any more or less crowded at either time. I was there last August for 11 nights (AKL, what a treat) and we stood in long lines and we walked on to other stuff. Same thing in June. August is a bit hotter and more humid, so I recommend a sprayer fan or 2.
I will comment on Swalphin, also. Although there are plenty of people that love them, I find them to be entirely too corporate. I ate at tubbies one morning at Discon II (that was where I met Bernie for the first time, anyone remember him???), and it was OK. I just like being totally immersed in WDW theming. But I hear the beds are heavenly at the Swan. I suppose if I could ever convince Mr Anxiety to go, we could end up there, as he prefers no Disney theming if possible, and at leat we would be on property.
Melissa, I love Dixie Landings (POR), that was the first place I stayed on property. Solo trip, it was great. I have repeated there. I toured Coronado Springs, it is a massive convention property, and really beautiful. Although it is big, it seems quite peaceful. I don't think you can go wrong no matter where you stay. If I was going to go for 2 weeks, I would opt to stay at Saratoga Springs (DVC) even if I had to get the room from CRO, although renting points could be cheaper. That is my very favorite area of all the resorts, just perfect for relaxing after being in the parks all day.
Loved the bowling pictures! Isn't it nice to be able to meet our friends in person? Never fear, there is a NE spring meet plan forming in my brain. That will include Steph, Gail, and I hope some Mass Disers, oh and maybe some from NS, too! Better to think about that than the dead car and the impending ice storm (which I couldn't care less about, I don't have to go out in it!)
Someone asked on the other thread about the TH. THey are in preconstruction pricing, I want to get in on that and then it can be built while we are still renting here. Not that I like to move, but I am really looking forward to living in a brand new, never been used as a model for 10 years (been there) house. All the new smells, all the new headaches!
Well, off to read and then to bed, see you all tomorrow.
