Camilla - does everyone rush to the grocery stores too to stock up on milk and bread?

Gail - good news that FIL is improving, hope MIL is going to be o.k. too.

John - good choice for ketchup! Heinz is always the best!

So far no delay here. LK's kids have a 2 hr delay, I bet they are loving sleeping in all week. Gotta get ready for work.

Hi all! Tried to go to bed early last night and it didn't seem to help I have meetings half the day today so maybe I can catch a nap in there

Camilla, enjoy your snow!!!! Well what little you have I think we are due for about 1-2 inches today on top of below zero temps. Sometimes I wonder why I live here And yep, you are now one of us

SB, just remind yourself how much more the kids in school can learn this week by not getting 2 hour delays all week Yeah, I'll be a terrible mean parent

Gail, glad to here about your FIL. Is this what the cold weather and the move is doing to them? They will want to return to Florida.

I am enjoying all of the sleeping in this week! I can't believe they have had two cancellations and then two 2 hour delays so far this week.

I am hoping any more snow holds off through tonight. Tonight is the first rehearsal for the Community Band that I've decided to join. I don't have a lot of details, but I think they practice once a week for 12 weeks and then there is a concert. It's been ages since I've played my clarinet in a band. I'm just hoping there are people there as equally rusty!

Gail, glad to hear your FIL is getting better, now work on your MIL!

LK, that sounds like fun. I know a lot of the people in our community band. The older high school kids are invited also. Sarah has considered it but the practice is the same time as choir practice. Too bad I don't play an instrument.

I've heard that a few families play in this band, too. Logan could probably join with me, but I'm not sure how involved the music is. Although, he could probably play more challenging things than me right now! I've been told that there are 94 members this year. I hope I know someone that I can carpool with.

I even said I agreed w/ you the other day, and you have to go and start badmouthing me!

I actually played the saxophone, and I do admit to playing the radio quite well!

Hey Laura, if you need a pick up clarinet lesson to refresh your memory, I could help you out! I teach all the woodwinds, but I must say, clarinet is my LEAST favorite. I prefer sax and flute!

Thanks Diane! Actually, my biggest fear is that I will forget what notes are supposed to be sharp and flat. Do you happen to have any kind of fingering chart you could e-mail to me?

Lou......cyber SMACK for you! I just got into work a little while ago, so I don't have time to search for a picture to convey my message. Besides, I'm a little afraid of what a search for "slapping" might turn up!
