Morning Angels and TWM!

Sandi - roads weren't bad when LK and I left work - we cut out around 3:30.

Lou & Marsha - wonderful catch ups.

Lars - try to get some rest and chicken soup today.

Val - happy shoveling!

Well, I posted my vent on the riddle thread. DS doesn't have a cancellation or delay. DD has a cold, so another wonderful day here. At least there is only fifty some more days until spring.

I'm back in this frozen tundra!!!
Got to the Pittsburgh airport last night at 9:30 and had to spend 1 hour defrosting the car out of the ice!
Roads were bad and we finally made it home by midnight.
Thankfully, there is a 2 hour delay today.

Trip was wonderful! Weather was warm and sunny in the 70's.
Epcot on Friday was a lot of fun. Had a great meal at LeCellier. Mushroom filet, yum!! I thought the park was more crowded than last January when I went, but you could still see everything. Chickened out on riding Mission Space. Once was enough for me! Tried to send home an email picture and one to LK to post but no one got them!

New Smyrna Beach is beautiful. We had an oceanview condo with a pool. Yesterday was near 80 and a gorgeous day. As we lay on the beach with the sun beating on us and the sound of the ocean, I said "Sue, Remember this moment right here because later when we are scraping ice . . . YUCK!"
Well, fun while it lasted!! Sadly, vacation always has to end!

I will try to catch up later.

Sandi, sounds like a great evening last night. Yep, I was on a stationary bike inside. With Ohio weather it is the easiest way to do it regularly.

Donna, gladf you had a wonderful trip, but I am so sorry that you came home to such cruddy weather!!!

Hiya Elaine,

Nah, we haven't had a storm really, there seemed to be a lot of snow when I posted last night but it soon tired itself out and now it is just raining a lot. The power is only off at the University where I work (nowhere else in the city) plenty of rumours going around as to why, the main one being that some works nearby have gone through a cable?! Not sure how true that can be as it went off at 12.15 yesterday, they sent us all home at 2.30ish and *apparently* it came back on between 5.30pm and 7am this morning then went off again! LOL, they have no idea what has caused it really but we shall have to see if the saga continues tomorrow (ive to phone in and listen to local radio in the morning)

Ah well, more time to DIS... oh yeah, and work on the house stuff, honest!

Lou, once again, an outstanding catsup but one point that my brother would insist I clarify - He has an inflatable car and helment for Dale, Jr. NOT an inflatable doll! (Just a cardboard cutout)

Another snow day here today. I hope this winter won't be as bad as last.

Gail, we can renew books online, if there aren't holds on it. This is a best seller and Sarah waited a month for it so I am sure it can't be renewed. It is worth paying a few days fines though.

If Lou is giving out money, here I am.

When is AI on? I looked at 9 last night but didn't see it. If it is on at 8, I will be watching Gilmore Girls then.

After waiting at the bus stop w/ DS, a neighbor poked her head out the door and told me there was a delay. Apparantly the 2 stations I watched didn't have it listed, and the only one I didn't watch had it on. I KNOW his school wasn't on there since I watched both and my DH even was looking before he left for work. Aaaaaaaaaaaaagggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!

I'm sorry you are having such a rough morning, SB.

My daughter's school sent a note out this week telling us which specific TV and radio station to listen to in the event of bad weather.

Now I see why that can come in handy!
