I've got to run across town and fix my mom's computer again. Whenever she has any trouble she calls us to come look at it. Usually it just needs us to reboot.

Morning Angels....hard to believe that I'm the first angel checking in today at 8:10....WAKE UP EVERYONE!!!!!

busy busy day here, we're installing the new flooring in the kitchen. I said to DH we should take before and after pictures, but he wasn't interested in the before versions...and now my kitchen is all apart.....:( I'll post pics of the new flooring later. Hopefully, we'll get this project done over the weekend. I can't imagine that it will take us 3 whole days, but who knows?!?!

Carol, I have an injury......can you help?!?! ;) lower trapezius muscle...not sure what I did (IT WAS NOT WHILE DOING LAUNDRY), but the more I try to compensate by stretching my arms across my chest..the worse it seems.....any professional advice other than "seek professional help?"

Okay, angels, wish me luck...I'm goin in.......

Good Morning Angels and TWM,

Kaitlin had a wonderful birthday yesterday. I made her a card that said "10 years of Kaitlin" and I put pictures on it of all the stuff she loves like American Girl, Furbies, Disney of course. She started crying when she saw it. When my mom asked her why she was crying she said "happy tears". Tonight she is having a couple of friends sleepover.

Merry: (I think it was you who asked:D ) They have started to reprint the Trixie Belden books. My bookstore has 1-4 so far but they are hardback of course. I should have all of them in paperback somewhere in my parents attic. I just have to dig them up. Are you excited about your cruise? That is on my list of things to do someday!

E:   I watched POTC again and thought of you!

OK, I tried to find a funny sheep picture and was going to try and post it. I typed "sheep pictures" into yahoo search. Just let me say: I will NOT be posting any of the pictures that I found! lol :o

SB: I hope Brendan had a nice birthday. Have fun at D&B's.

  Hi everyone!

Good morning everyone.

Lazy day here. DH is at work and the kids are asleep. I plan to take it easy, clean the house, read, and knit. I am trying to make a hat to match the scarf I knit for Sarah.

We plan to go to a movie tonight if the weather doesn't interfere. Which do the Angels recommend, Somethings Gotta Give or Cold Mountain?

I would use ice on it, 20 - 30 minutes on, 2 hours off. And take an anti-inflammatory drug like Advil or Motrin. (The bill is in the mail.)

Sounds like a great gift for Kaitlin, FM.

Sandi and Elaine, hope you both are feeling better today.

 to everyone else.

I haven't seen either one but some friends of ours have.....'Something's Gotta Give' is supposed to be a really funny comedy......'Cold Mountain' was supposed to be good but not funny at all;) to quote my Mom "It was all fighting & sex"...suppose it depends on what kind of movie you want to see...

That is a wonder ful idea!!! Very clever of you~I might borrow that idea for the twins birthday if you don't mind:D

SB~Have fun at D & B.we like going there but the closest one is about an hour away.....we may as well just drive to Pittsburgh next time we wanna go!:teeth: think DH would buy that as an excuse to come see you & LK????

Late morning here, Pete let me sleep till 10, which was nice. I didn't have dog duty last night, either. Today we are washing and drying many loads, going to "The Mall of New Hampshire" (really, that's it's name) and seeing if he can find some corduroy pants. Stripped the bed and put the flannel sheets on it again, his T Shirt sheets aren't warm anymore. Maybe I will look for another set.

THe house hunt is over, we will stay where we are till June and then go into the TH that we have on hold, we will go next Saturday and pay the real deposit.

Gotta run and take a shower, do my hair etc.
Have a great Saturday, all. Stephanie, I will PM my cell, call me if you want us to stop by!

I almost forgot.....................It's snowing here again! We're supposed to get about 3 more inches today. brrrrrrrr....................

We have a party weekend ahead of us..........this afternoon at 5 is a joint birthday party for my great niece Ashley who is turning 2 & her cousin, my great nephew Lucas who is turning 1.
Tomorrow from 1-6 is the wedding party for my nephew Brandon & his new wife Alisa.
and I'm hoping (or shall I say DH is hoping) that I'll get that tree down too......................:p

:wave2: Morning!

Donna - ROFLMAO at your internet research on sheep pictures! :earseek:

We have finally put away the last of the Christmas decorations, so I have been dusting and putting back up all of the regular decorations. DH and DS went to the barber shop, so I figured I could jump on the DIS. ;)

Lou, see how boring our conversations are around here without you guys around???

Carol, I don't know much about either of those movies since we don't go out to the theater much. Whatever you pick, it will still be nice to get out of the house.

SB - have fun at D&B's and don't spend too much $$! Lars - just tell Matt to nap in the car while you drive and he won't realize how long it takes to get here.

We are supposed to go out to dinner tonight with Lenny's side for his dad's birthday. They want to go to the same place we just went to on Sunday. We are expecting snow and sleet later so this may get cancelled anyway.

Good morning all! For some dumb reason I wasn't able to fall asleep until after 4 am :o I guess it doesn't matter because we have freezing rain right now and I couldn't get much done anyway

Gack, I forgot to say Happy Birthday to Kaitlin!!!! So happy belated birthday to her.

Stephanie, good luck to you today!!! I do not envy you having to do that today!

Donna, glad that Kaitlin has a good birthday!!! Pirates and thought of me? I might have to watch the one when my lazy husband wakes up :)

:wave2: Hi Carol!!! Have a good day!

Lars, I think that is an excellent excuse to go to Pittsbugh!!!! If you ever want to "change up" the scenery, there are several in Columbus too ;)

Good luck shopping for clothes! Glad to hear that your house hunt is over... always a bit stressful isn't it?

Lars, I might work on that tree today too ;)

Stay safe LK... we are getting some sleety stuff right now. I haven't really looked outside the front to see what the streets look like though.

I am gong to ammend my plans a little bit this afternoon to help out a friend. Her doggie is at least 12 years old (they got her as a stray 12 years ago) & hasn't been doing well for a month or so now......they've been trying different meds but nothing has helped for more than a few days. Her hip joints in the abck are just gone....now it's starting in her front legs.....for the last few days she basically hasn't been able to walk at all.......she also can barely lift her head due to a huge infected cyst on the back of her neck.........anyway they have made the difficult decision to have her put to sleep because she's in so much pain she has spent the last day & a 1/2 crying whenever she tries to move at all. I have to watch their very sad:( 7 y/o & their 2 y/o while they go to the vet:(
Wish me luck & hope that I can be of some comfort to thier son.

I had to laugh at the hunt for sheep pictures, too. :teeth:

Some of my Trixie Belden books are old and falling apart. I may have to buy replacements for my collection.

Carol, I saw Somethings Gotta Give by myself and I'm anxious to take Allen back to see it with me. I thought it was very cute. Haven't seen the other one.

Looking forward to pics of the new floor. I'll be green with envy.

Glad the TH is finally in the bag. Enjoy your shopping today.

Have fun at the parties and stay safe on those slick roads.

It's still raining here. Our roof leak is still leaky. Got to have the roofer back out. Sure hope we don't have to have a new roof to get that fixed. Sigh. David's bedroom wall keeps getting damp when it rains.

Allen informed me that we have tickets to a basketball game at noon. That is when we are picking up Amy from her sleepover. So I guess we are getting her a little early and heading across town to the game. Hope they play better today than they have the last couple of games.

Lars, what a good friend you are. That is so hard. A good book I had when we had to put our dog down when the kids were little was The Tenth Good Thing About Barney. Maybe you could find that for them.

Afternoon Angels!

Lars - what a nice friend you are to watch those kids. you could also put on a movie to distract them, or maybe have them make a card w/ fun things about their dog. You're welcome to make a visit to Pgh anytime - just say you took a wrong turn!;)

Donna - glad Kaitlin had a nice b'day!

Marsha - now you can rest and relax w/ the TH decision finalized.

Steph - are you sure you want to be helping w/ the floor if you are in pain - that is a GOOD enough excuse not to do any manual labor. maybe you can supervise since I know the menfolk tell us we do that all the time anyway.

E - another dreary day, another reason to watch POTC!pirate:

Carol - I haven't seen either of those movies, but my mom saw and liked both, but said a lot of violence in Cold Mountain.

Decided to go to D&B on Monday since I am busy cleaning, and in case the weather turns bad. Two of the neighbor girls are here and one of them just drives me nuts! I cringe when she comes to the door. Does anyone else have someone in the neighborhood like that?
