I'm back!!!

The trip went well but I'm too tired to catch up. Lew & Arnie covered over 500 miles on their treck north....they're spending the night near the NC/SC border.

ok, after not reading for 2 days, there is just way too much to try and catch up on. I did read everything though. So in reply to all of that and should about cover it

As for me, worked last night, slept in late today (10:00), ran errands, and now i am getting ready to read a book for a while.
The drama queen is back in the hospital. I guess she is going to have an angio on Monday. No clue what is wrong, Im thinking they just havent figured out her meds yet.
Weather here today was foggy and damp all day....ick.
Tomorrow I am spending the day at a scrapbook store with a couple girlfriends. I dont get many weekends off, so this is a nice change for me.
Sam is getting a cold, I hate trying to get him to take any medication. He so rarely gets sick that he really fights the meds.
I think that is about it. My fleece blanket and book are calling my name. Have a good evening, Ill try to check in tomorrow morning.

Geesh, I try to be nice and not forget anyone and I still get in trouble for it.

DD drove to a friend's house earlier to watch a movie. We just checked the roads and think it is too slick for her to drive home so I called the mom and made arrangements for her to spend the night. We will have to get there in the morning with clothes for her to change into to go to church. (Her choir sings.) The friend is closer to church than home. I hope the other kids get home safely or spend the night.

Gail, glad you are safely home. Where is Lew spending tomorrow night?

Hope that everyone had a great day. Had a blast with my boys... even got a bit sunburned... SWEAR!!!

It's been a long afternoon and evening. I'm tired. I've read everything, but no time to catch up on everything. to everyone, anyway.

Allen has been on the computer much of the day. First it was problems at work, then it was Scouts (tomorrow is board of review), then it was work again. I've been cleaning out the laundry room and washing. It's been a while since I went through the cabinets. I've been listening to the Carol Burnett marathon. She's one of my favorites.

Now Allen says he feels ill. He's in bed, but says he'll have to get up again to do more Scout stuff in a while. Don't know if we are doing church tomorrow at this rate.

Off to do a few more jobs before I head to bed.

Good morning!

I'm slow getting going this morning. It's snowing but very lightly....a nice New England welcome for the IL's! Today is also their 59th wedding anniversary! We don't have anything special planned...but I'm sure there will be more of the family around to visit with them. I'm catching up on washing dirty clothes and the kids & I are heading back to my SIL's house. There's also a fooball game to watch!

Almost forgot! Our arrival at the airport last night was pretty special. My IL's have 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren and all but 2 were there!!!

Slow going this morning. CCD was cancelled, so we aren't going anywhere until Brendan's party this afternoon.

Gail - glad you are back home safely. Since the Steelers stunk this year, I guess I will join you in saying "Go Pats!".

MP - I LOVE her too! I was watching some of the episodes yesterday, and (Steph and Lars you'll love this) they did an episode where Vicki L. told Carol a Riddle (the one about the house's windows facing south and what color was the bear!) and Carol was getting so pissed 'cause she couldn't figure it out, and then someone else told her a Riddle that she couldn't figure out. She was getting so angry, I was LOL since it reminded me of how I am on our own Riddle thread (although not so angry).
