Done with the one errand I wanted to do today. The weather is total ick right now so I will just sit at home with the babies and a good movie I think

Awww Lars My thoughts are with you all So very sad.... but you are such a good friend to be there for them.

Merry, I do hope you can get that roof fixed. Sounds awful!!! I hope no major damage is done to the walls because of it too.

We have decided to stay home instead of going out for dinner. The roads are starting to get bad, and it's only going to get worse.

Leah's basketball team played a great game today. Leah got hit in the face by the ball so she sat out for a while with the ice pack. She has a little mark on her cheek but she is fine.

Lars, that is the hardest thing. Sorry I didn't see your post earlier. I've had to put down a couple of dogs and a cat. It's heartbreaking! I think it may be even harder for little ones. It's just so hard for them to understand. I agree that the book Carol suggested is great! I also like the Rainbow Bridge poem.

SB, we used to have a neighbor like that. I never understood why the kids played with her. She was a total pain. I did a dance the day they moved to Florida.

It's cold and wet. Guess I shouldn't complain about the cold. Nothing like most of you are dealing with. Just a yucky day.

We are back from the basketball game. It went into overtime, but we managed to lose. Oh well.

Amy and a friend are talking about going to the movies. Don't know what our plans are.

LK - NO neighborhood kids here tomorrow! it's just easier that way. Tell Leah, Auntie Lorraine hopes she feels better.

MP - I wish they would move, but don't see that happening anytime soon. The girl only comes over here when the other girl next door isn't home or is over our house. That is just one kid I could do w/o.

E - hmmmmm........what movie might that be?

We got a couple of inches here already, and now I hear the freezing rain. Hope it all clears up by tomorrow or else I will have a lot of food and cake to eat.

What the heck....nothing else to do tonight!



DH is watching The Gangs of New York. It is way too violent and confusing for me. I took a nap and just decided to make one of those big chocolate chip cookies. I am using my Deep Dish Baker from Pampered Chef. I hope it turns out. I'll let you know when it is ready!

Good Evening!
This is the first chance I had today to check in.
My DB from Ohio came today for a visit and helped DH finish cleaning out the attic. He took home a bunch of stuff also.
The reason we had to get the attic emptied out is because our big remodeling work is going to be starting soon and DH is going to raise the roof for starters, dig a footer in the back, and add on 4 feet to the entire back of the house which is the LR, Kitchen, bathroom, and master bedroom. We are then getting a new kitchen, new windows and installing 2 new sliding glass doors, new patio outback and a Hot tub. The hot tub will be outside the sliding glass doors by the master bedroom.
It's going to be a huge project, I'm dreading it.

We went to see Cold Mountain but the time listed in the paper was wrong so it had already started when we got there. So, we saw Something's Gotta Give. It was cute and funny. Then picked up a pizza on the way home.

DH and DS are waiting for me to watch a movie. GTG

Hello everyone. A long and boring day here in NH, the Mall sucked, it is quite small. We went to the house and took 3 pictures of the foundation. Then we went to Applebees for lunch, which was good, bit there wasn't enough alchohol in the B52 coffee to get me happy. I do know why I am feeling so yuk, all the snow is getting dirty looking, I always hate that. Maybe if we got just another inch on top......

Tomorrow will be grocery shopping and packing day, so as to have Pete ready to go to Lincoln, NE (boy, is he getting to go to a hot spot or what?), then watch the football game, GO PATS! At least we have moved to a place that has a semi decent football team.

Now it's time to wake the dogs, take them out, and then get in bed. We did get a new blanket today, between the flannel PJs, flannel sheets, thermal blankets, comforter and fleece throw, I should be warm the rest of winter.

Weather is cold and snowy.
4 girls are downstairs playing Truth or Dare. (at 10, however, they think it is funny to sing Happy Birthday to someone's butt) lol!
From the sound of it, no one is going to bed anytime soon!
I will put a movie on in an hour to let them wind down. DD got Freaky Friday for her birthday so they will probably watch that.
