I told Billy this morning, last year this very week, we were in Punta Cana sipping Pina Coladas!! (Sigh) Oh well, maybe next year!
Had a very busy day yesterday, left here at 7:00 a.m. and didn't get home until 8:00 pm.
My World Traveler is finally Home!!!
They visited France, Amsterdam, Denmark, Italy, (Venice & Rome)Germany and Switzerland! He has a ton of pictures, (looks like I'll be doing yet another scrapbook )
He brought me some beautiful ornaments, one from Paris, one from Venice, and some from Germany.
There are a couple spetacular photos, I'll post some in a few.

I think you have that correct. It is so cold this morning, Sadie is curled up really tight on Maxes bed (she likes his better thatn hers) and is covered up with a big towel. She hates her fleece coat, but she is going to have to wear it today.

I think I shall get my Mickey banket at take a nap, getting up at 3:45 is not fun.

Steph, hope the furnace gets completley fixed.

E, how are your co-workers taking this? Have most of them being let go been prepared, or is it a total shock for some? When we did this last August, it was just devastating.

LK the sad thing is this has gone on so much over the last 3 years that it isn't a shock to us. Doesn't mean it doesn't bother us at all, but it doesn't have the same feel as it did when they first started this in Sept. 2000. Still feels very icky around here. Oh and most have had a "backup plan" for years now... I think that's the saddest part of all this.

There is a scrapbook store near me that has a lot of travel things...let me know if you need anything specific~my friend did a scrapbook of a trip to Australia & we got some great things there!

Sorry I missed Mel last night. I did end up watching ER with Sarah. They really don't have much of a plot anymore.

Sandi, great pictures! I am sure you are glad he is home.

Elaine, maybe you and I could come up with some great idea and open our own business. Someone had to think of Curves and look where they are now. I have always thought of opening a restaurant in a tourist area that had attached babysitting so parents on vacation could go out for a nice meal and sign there kids into a place right on site for babysitting. What do you think?

Oh no worries about the Pirate thing... I just enjoy saying that Mostly because Will Turner is only 1/2 pirate but I enjoy being goofy I guess. And your comment about why not let them know yesterday? That's what we'd like to know. It is awful to do this to us today after making us live through it yesterday. I'd be pissed too if I had to drive through all that snowy stuff only to be sent right back home

This is his second trip. He is already making a touring plan that would rival any made by adults.
"Ok. on our first day, we will check in to our hotel, then we will go to Downtown Disney to get my Pal Mickey. After that we will ride the monorail to the Contemporary to have dinner at CHef Mickey's. After dinner I want to watch the fireworks, but not anywhere where it would be too loud.........' and on and on.
