Lou............the only thing I was picturing was those "road chases" you see on CNN or Foxnews. The culprits always keep driving on their flat tires, then the rims, then the sparks start flying. I'm glad your wife was able to help rescue you.

Happy Birthday Melissa!!

Sorry I've been so absent!, sometimes it's just so hard to find time to sit down at this computer, I feel like I have so many people (& 1 invalid dog) to take care of!
The vet says Tia has fluid in her chest and he doesn't know if it's pnemonia or heart failure. We first tried the antibiotics with no luck now we are trying Lasiks. If it is her heart, not much we can do. She's 13 this year.
Had a lot of reading to do to catch up! Now I think I need a nap!
Enjoyed chatting the other night! Let's do it again soon!

Gail's not the only one wiht a thoughtful DH. Jack brought me a dozen roses when he came home from work. Quite a surprise.

I am a BAD Angel. While roaming the mall, I FORGOT to cruise the Disney store. The mall is in a triangle and I didn't have to go down that side for anything and just forgot. Bad me. I hope I didn't miss any good deals.

I actually did make it to TDS the other day and there were some nice things....and on sale!!! Even though the selection is still small, I love that they have adult clothes there again.
I bought some Eeyore pajamas - for me!

Time to crash....just got home....never managed to have dinner tonight but the IL's are settled!

I had a lovely birthday dinner with family. I got a bunch of cool gifts and cards, and ate way too much. Thanks again for all the happy birthday greetings.

David did well at his swim meet. He's swimming in faster heats, which makes him look like he isn't doing as well. But today's races were his fastest times ever. I was a proud mom.

I'm tired. I'm headed for bed really soon. Just wanted to check in before I brush my teeth.

Today I have to take Dylan to a little Valentine party at the McDonalds playland with MIL & his cousins. Then all the kids need to try on their summer shorts to see if they've outgrown them or if they still will fit them for the WDW trip.

I have some sad news I think the 4th of July Boston trip may be off My 2 BILs & SILs are voting again on what to do & they wanna go to Mackinac Island instead.....Matt & I still voted Mass but I think we're being shot down I was so looking forward to meeting some of you East Coast Angels too!!

Now apparantly we're talking about going to Niagara Falls instead of Mass...............the inlaws apparantly stopped there on their honeymoon too & it's a shorter drive so the SIL's littler kids (4,3,2) will not have as much trouble making the long trip.

Very busy here again today....DW has just informed me DD(14) 'boy' friend will be coming over this afternoon to watch a movie. Also other DD(17) is going out for dinner and movie with her 'boy' friend, which means entire afternoon will be chaos around here. This effectively kills any plans I may have had for today. But hey, who am I, anyway? So.....DW asks what I plan to do now.....I muttered something about spending the afternoon cleaning my guns........DW rolled her eyes and said, rather sarcastically I might add......."You don't have any guns...."
Well........ yes........... I said as I was walking away.......but I have friends...............

I just got a present from DH - a Mickey Mouse toaster!!! It is so cute - it plays the Mickey Mouse March when the toast pops up. Also, it toasts a silhouette of Mickey's head on the bread!
