I'm home. We lost the game, barely. There were some really bad callls. Personally, I think we were robbed! (And I even went to the opposing high school!) But the band did a great job. Guess we should be glad they didn't trounce us like they did last year.

Yes, I fired off an email to that teacher. I tried really hard not to be nasty. But if she doesn't arrange something with David tomorrow, I may have to go over her head. Are the angels ready to back me up?

Star, I may end up going to the football game. Mom has two tickets to this game and so far she has no one going with her. So I may have to pick Amy up after parking cars, take her home and return to the game. Amy says she's had enough of football after tonight for this week. (She cried when we lost. She's not a bad sport, but it really was unfair.) If I go to the game, I'd have to run and get Amy before we meet. She'd want to be in on meeting the two of you.

I'm heading for the showers.

We are going to my IL's cottage this weekend, so I won't be around until Monday evening or Tuesday. I need to throw some clothes together for everyone this morning. Heading over to Donna's this afternoon to begin my WDW scrapbook!

Shannon's first day of school is today.(although it's only for an hour to get the kids used to it) I hope she does o.k. I told her last night that she was the oldest kid in the class and she had to be strong so that the little kids don't start to cry. After I pick her up, we are going to get our haircut.

We aren't at the lake this weekend. That belongs to my BIL's family. We will be up in Marienville, just north of Clarion. I can't wait to eat a steak and baked potato cooked over the fire pit. Yummy!

Bethany, right out of college I worked for RCA Records (1980-1984). Rick was one of our hottest acts at the time and I can remember we did an in-store record signing with him that nearly turned into a riot. We had to surround the limo in the back alley and follow it out just to get him away from the screaming girls!

I was quite popular with the girls by being able to say I had met him several times as well as providing posters of him. (Hey I was in my early 20s and I was working all angles! )

Anyway, if I dig back through some of my stuff I'm sure I have pictures with him. One of the guys I worked with was at a trade show in Chicago and Rick performed for the employees at it. They wound up playing video games and pinball together all through the night just to pass the time. He was a regular guy.

And before anyone asks, NO that is not how I met Gerri. She was unimpressed with my "celebrity friends"!

Good morning all.

Nothing planned for today, so I will work more on organizing my scrapbook paper. I started it yesterday and didnt quite finish, so I'll do that for a bit.

Long weekend ahead....work tonight 6-12, tomorrow 11-3 and 4-7:30, Sunday 11-3, Septemberfest & concert for the rest of the day, then on Monday we are working the pop tent with the boy scouts.

Attention - any of you with a Disney Visa! I just noticed on the Disney Visa website that beginning on Monday, October 4th, we can request free tickets to a movie premiere of The Untouchables! Hopefully, they will have a showing at a theater near where you live.

The only problem was most of the other girls interested in him were also in the 9th grade!

I've got some great stories from back then. RCA also distributed A&M and Arista Records so I met a lot of acts. The Go Gos, Joe Jackson, Squeeze, Hall & Oates, Kenny Rogers, Diana Ross and Alan's favorites, Alabama (who were great guys BTW) just to name a few.
