The only date magic keys reservations are not available, sans tomorrow, is Saturday, October 11th. I searched but can’t find what’s happening in town that date?

Labor Day has never been as busy as Columbus Day. Kids head back to school around Labor Day and parents are much less likely to take them out. By Columbus Day everyone wants a break to enjoy the Halloween season.

I'm thinking it's a combination of things. Yeah, it's a holiday weekend, and that one gets pretty crowded and crazy. We have been for that holiday weekend pre- and post-covid. Probably more importantly though, I'm guessing that's the week that Disney is going to raise prices on tickets, magic keys, etc. and possibly re-open sales of magic keys. When they re-open sales, they often open up availability on the calendar again. So they might just be ratcheting down availability now so they can add it back to goose sales next time they open magic key sales.
