I heard back from Mrs. Goody the chemistry teacher. She said she had misunderstood and thought Norman North had a pool at the school. You'd think the woman would know if there was a pool at the high school where she teaches. Anyway, she says that David either needs to get out of his zero hour class on Tuesday (band so I don't know if that is possible) or she'll let him make it up in two overtime sessions. I'm still going but I'm not anymore. So we can call off the angels in uniform.

By the way, Norman High spraypainted a bunch of the bleachers at OU's stadium orange last night. And OU's first game of the season is tomorrow morning! Eeek! OU says their team is not welcome to EVER come back because of lack of sportsmanship. David's team is welcome to play there any time. David says "We may have lost the game, but at least we were good sports about it."

Shannon's first day went well! She didn't cry (me neither) and I gave her a hug and kiss. She said she had a great time and they had gummy worms for a snack! We went and got our hair cut and went out to Pizza Hut for dinner together since Brendan was busy w/ his Aunt, and DH was finishing up golfing. A good mom and daughter day, although she did say "Mom, I wish I had a little sister" at dinner!

Evening all... Marc came over for dinner and then we watch Return of the King... he had to take off early since he has to go up to Cleveland first thing in the morning (that and his parents live quite a ways away from me... amazing we were such close friends in HS living so far apart). Anyway, it was good to see him.

It'll be an early morning tomorrow. I have to have Amy at the church around 7:30. Everyone is going to the game except me. I'm doing the tv thing at home.

Morning all... lazy day so far... have lots of cleaning to get done this weekend (totally ignored the house over the last week or so), and some errands to run today. Ohio State plays at noon and I think Luis is watching the game at home. I might go out during the game to avoid me yelling at the TV

I have been spending my morning looking up WDW stuff... stumbled across a cute Stitch game in honor of the new ride coming out. I know it is for kids, but I had fun playing... he even purred like a kitten

Kind of annoyed... a watch I bought a week or so ago decdided to stop working right... I think I am just going to return it. Will probably do some retail therapy afterwards

Missy, enjoy watching the game at home. Sounds like an early morning for Amy though.

Happy Saturday~It is a beautiful & sunny day here in Michigan
We are heading over to my brother's house for the afternoon.....we're due there around 1-ish & we'll be staying for dinner He has a built in pool & the kids are looking forward to swimming all day. I need to run to the store this morning & pick up things to make a big tossed salad to take along with us.

MP~I sure hope that you & Star are able to get together today

Brian~Any good reason to need us yet?

Return flight time got changed. Again! And not to the good.
Original flight time was schedule to leave at 7:15pm and changed to 3:30pm. Now it is leaving at 1:30pm. By departure date the flight should be leaving in the early AM.
From what I thought I could get a half day at a park now leaves me a couple of hours at the resort on departure day

Brendan had his first game of the fall season in soccer. We have to be there at 8:30 though. They have refs at this stage and it was funny how many kids were hitting the ball w/ their hands and the whistle was blowing constantly. Going to enjoy the nice sunny day and go swimming. Who knows how many more nice days we'll have.

Mike, I am so sorry abou your flight... why do they keep changing it? Are they able to find anything else that can work? The last time they did that to me (they did it on my flight to MCO) I called and got them to change it to a later departure time as well as and earlier arrival. They just automatically switched me to something not acceptable to me. Sorry that they keep changing though.

Lorraine, enjoy your day at the pool! I agree, can't get enough of ROTK myself... or any of the LOTR movies
