Back from the dentist, and still no cavitities for the kids! Took Brendan to get new soccer shoes for the fall, and he is in a men's 6 1/2! He's only in 2nd grade! No more buying the cheap soccer shoes. He is going to kill me with his feet growing so fast.

Yikes - I can't even send you any from our kids.....he's in a size bigger that EB!!!!

Amusing story. A co-worker was at Disney last week and was supposed to return to RI on either Saturday or Sunday. She left a message at work yesterday saying that due to the storm she won't be able to get a flight back until at least Tuesday, and possibly later.

I'm not trying to discount the storm in any way but it seems she's stretching it a bit! Most people who've posted about delayed flights have spoken of delays in hours....not days!!!

Thanks for the compliment on the picture....I even had to buy a Texas flag frame for that one while we were there.

SB, Amy is on her way! Wow! I thought David's feet were large when he was younger. Wonder what size he'll wear when he's grown? Does your husband have big feet? David wears the same size as Allen, and he's still growing at 17!

I've been doing some picking up. Yuck. How does everything get out of place? And why do I seem to be the only one that cares?

The DIS is way too slow for me this afternoon. Guess it's because I should be working. It's trying to tell me something.

Hi all... DIS has been slow for me this afternoon... still is here at home. Just relaxing as I had an awful drive back home... 2 accidents within blocks of each other and cops who were letting traffic back up on the main st. but not on the side street (he let them make a constant flow while we waited and waited...) so my drive home took twice as long as normal.

I'm home!!! Took Matt for a haircut then to Old Navy...got a few things for each kid there. Matt got a new backpack at LLBean last week so they're both pretty much set for school.

Hoping Steph was able to make that appointment. I don't know what it is with Ortho offices but they all must have had the same training. Kind of like the commercial with David Spade when all he says is "no". Now that I think of it, the assistant in the office we've dealt with must have been a Marine drill sergeant in a former life!

Hey everyone,
we DID get into the ortho today...but they just added TWO MORE LAYERS OF FIBERGLASS to the cast..didn't replace it.....just added more maybe it's me...but I'm pretty sure the cast weighs more than AJ at this point....
They made us keep the regular follow up appt. on Thursday, and they will re x-ray then....I'm seriously considering a request to transfer to a pedi-ortho....
