Lorraine.....I got engaged on the beach right there at 23rd Street .........Sept 1991. .....We weren't fortunate enough to stay at the Days Inn, however,.....we stayed next door at the ever so beautiful Ocean Mecca......

Good Morning Everyone,
It has occurred to me that I've been doing a lot of lurking, and not a lot of posting ]
hey, sometimes that happens.

Another beautiful day here in NH. A bunch of errands to run, and kids to pack up for adventures. Patrick leaves tonight for a 50 mile bike ride tomorrow, he'll be home in time to leave with the other Andrew on Sunday for an overnight trip with EMIL.

Guess I better get it in gear before the sun is too high.

There will be indoor half bath w/ shower house a few steps from the cabin door (and the shower is private,not shared by whole community ... they all have their own showers INSIDE their cabins!)

thanks all....he was so surprised to see all the wishes and grpahics. He thought it was pretty cool that you all knew it was his birthday, LOL.

Still need to finish getting ready for the party. The weather does not look too promising for tomorrow. YIKES, that means all those people will be in my house instead of in the yard.

Sandy, if you're going to camp that's the way to go. I'm for real bathrooms with showers all the way. We took MIL and FIL's motor home on vacations a couple of times. It was fun! All the comforts of home where DH wanted to camp. But he says it's not really camping. Who knew?

Have fun Leah and Leah and LK and other Leah's mom. This story was a little confusing, to my muddled brain. Too many people with the same name and same jobs.

Don't know for sure what I'm up to today. I'm trying to get an update on my uncle. I need to straighten my scrapbooking stuff. I've been scrappin' in the evenings and made a lot of progress this week, but I need to put some things away. When I scrap the mess multiplies over time. TTFN

Amazingly I did just read through the last few pages since I checked in and besides my two cats trying to fight for my attention, I realize that after Star's catch up on page 509, I won't even bother to try to do one myself.

Yep, back at home... I was able to sleep on the flight from LA to Cincy, but it was only a 3.5 hour flight so I only got a hair more than 3 hours of sleep. I did manage to fall asleep and stay asleep during take off though

I did have a great trip too... I have to say though, I know my heart lies with WDW... DL is great but WDW just seems so much more magical (and less crowded ) to me.

We sometimes go to the state Library for the Blind and they have a magazine rack with several periodicals.

One of which is Playboy.

So when someone says they only read it for the articles, in this case, they would be right!

For the record, the centerfold is not dot to dot....I know cause I tried.

Last night, after working the fair, DH and I drove the hour and a half to Sarah's camp to go to the Galilean Worship Service they have every Thursday night at 9:30. It is in a small ampitheater kind of place with cement benches set into the hill facing the river. At the end everyone gets a candle on a foil pie plate and the candle is lit and they are set on the river to float. About 50 -75 candles. Very neat looking. So, it was about 12:30 when we got home but we were glad to have seen Sarah in her camp surroundings.

I was watching Good Morning America and they had a story about Tanning Butlers at the Ritz Carleton Resort in South Beach Florida. This nice looking young man (cabana boy?) comes and rubs suntan lotion on you. Hmmmmmm.

Welcome home, E. Glad you had fun. The crowds are the main reason I keep fighting going to Disneyland. That and the fact that even with CA, it's smaller that WDW.

Carol, that service sounds lovely. We used to do something similar at our church camp, but now they don't use the lake much at night. It's so dark in that area and they don't want anyone to step on a snake. Another beautiful destination! I'm jealous of all the traveling angels.

Carol - the place you are staying at looks beautiful. the pool looks great!

MP - this will be the first time our family has stayed at this Days Inn.

Donna - when did you go to OC in '91? We usually go the first week of August every year. I didn't know I had a store either!

E - that makes my decision to ever go to DL even easier now. at least you got to find out for yourself. welcome back!

Gail - is your boss not at work today?

Took the kids out to the stores. It is impossible to shop in peace w/ them. they want to put everything in the cart. needless to say, i did not make it to Kohl's.

Leah has me ROFLMAO right now. She is making cookies to take with us tonight. She kept reading something on the directions to me, and I couldn't understand what she was saying. She kept saying "Stir the margarini". I finally realized she was talking about margarine!!! I must be talking too much about magaritas around her.
