DH took off today for a dr.'s appt. Then he is going golfing w/ his dad this afternoon. I'm going to be taking Shannon and one of her friends to library class today, while Brendan goes to a friends house to play. Then I will have everyone back at lunchtime for the kids and their friends to swim.

Good morning everyone.

I haven't had a chance to read any of the 15 pages I missed while I was gone for only 2 days. I will try to read them tonight. Just wanted to say HI and let you know we were safely home.

Sarah is all registered for her classes and happy about her schedule. She was able to go into the semester with 12 credits from her AP classes. That is almost a full semester for about $250. Well worth it. Still waiting to hear if her community college class credit will transfer. That would be another 3 credits.

DH, DS, and I went into Washington twice by metro. We saw the new WWII Memorial, walked by the White House and the Washington Monument, went in the "Castle" at the Smithsonian, the Museum of American History, and the Pavillion at the Old Post Office. There is a tower there that you can go in that is the second tallest point in DC after the Washington Monument. It was a nice but quick tour.

I'll try to get back here later to catch up with all your news. Or maybe you can direct me to the most recent Lou-cap.

Carol, what great news for your daughter and it sounds like you got to cover quite a bit on the trip.

Lars, I am not a fish lover, but Ketchikan sounds great! Not sure why but my dad loved that city name and said it often on the video he took up there recently.

Bowling and WalMart are on the plans for today. I figure I should be a real grown up and get a real day-planner to keep track of all my PTA commitments.

I spent most of yesterday morning catching up on ordering digital prints. I havent ordered since before my WDW trip. I ended up ordering 1215 prints. I use Snapfish and they offer a pre-pay deal, so I pre bought 1800 prints at .15 each.
So I started filling my cart and it started to crash. Called them and found out they dont recommend you put more than 300-400 prints in at one time. So I complained about having to pay shipping for multiple orders and they gave me 3 free shipping credits. Then this morning I got an email and they gave me 1 8x10 and 3 5x7 print credits. I should have more pics than I will know what to do with in a couple days, 2 of the orders have already shipped.
BUt, I am caught up. Everything from WDW (March) to Great America (this past weekend) are on their way. This means I really need to get moving on my scrapping. I wont admit how far behind I am. It's not good.

Hello. I'm waiting around for my mom to call and tell me she got home from her test at the hospital. I hate waiting!

I'm also trying to get Amy ready for ballet. She sure moves slow on summer mornings, but I can't blame her. Just two more classes and she is off until school begins.
