Sorry I missed LK's excitement last night.

Sarah, Jack and I went out for dessert at St. Perkins.

Gail, Jack thinks bridal showers are where the married women teach the new bride all the wifely tricks like rolling eyes and having all the right answers and knowing where hidden things are.

Not much going on here today. Sarah and I are going to run a few errands before she has 2 graduation parties to attend. Andrew gets home later tonight. Jack is at work. Will I do anything productive? Probably not.

Good morning!!!
Boy you all were chatty yesterday!! At this rate I will never get time to read all that I missed this week. We went out to the movies last night. Nick and I saw Garfield and DH and FIL saw Farenheit 9-11. Then we went out to eat.
Today we are working on cleaning the house. I didn't get anything done yesterday. We are spending time together this weekend as a family. No one needs us to help them move, no little league games, No parties. we have absolutely no where we have to be this weekend!
I think I will run to the store and get hamburgers and chips for dinner. We can grill in on the George Foreman!

Good mid morning check in.
I've dropped the boys off *in the rain* with all their camping gear, and canoes,kayaks, etc....they now have 3 days to make it downriver.....how tough can that be?

I'm off to a baby shower today for a friend from high school that I haven't seen in 20 years She always thought she couldn't have kids.....I'm happy for her, but to start having kids a our *ahem* tender age.....whew....best of luck to her.

I'm sleepy. I was up until 1:30 this morning. My crop lasted until midnight and the guys didn't get home from working at Jazz in June (our local jazz festival) until after 1:00.

Had to get Amy up early so I could get her to her babysitting class at Red Cross. She gets out this afternoon at 3:00 and packs for her week of church camp.

Tonight we are going to a Redhawks baseball game. It's what David wanted to do for his birthday. Can't believe my baby is 17 today!

Sorry I missed all the singing last night. I love camp songs and would have pulled out my spoon to join in the fun.

I better go wrap the birthday boys gifts. He got golf clubs at Monday's party, so he's not getting much today.

went to see Tim McGraw in concert last night - great show !!

Thanks for the suggestions Lars. IMHO, I don't think people should have engagement parties the second time around.
