Wow, I feel like I've missed a lot in the past few days. :(

Sending hugs to Lars. Glad to hear things are looking good for your niece and her twins.

Hugs to MP too, how sad for the family. Also hoping the rest of your reunion was fun MP.

Happy Birthday Gaspode!!! We really enjoyed HP3 too! ::yes::

It's not your fault Lou! ;)

The rains never made it to us - yet. Sorry your day was so soggy Carol.

Hoping all goes well for your SIL SB.

Nothing on the web or national news about strange happenings at a lake cottage in western PA so all should be well with LK and her gang. No sign of Donna today.....maybe she's up there lurking in the woods! :p

I don't remember where you were going E but hope you have fun.

Hi to everyone I've missed!

Good news to follow in next post! :teeth:

Celebrations in our house tonight!!!!!

Matt's team had a very slow start to their season....they were 1-7 and suddenly they woke up! After their slump they lost only 2 other games. Tonight they played their final regular season game tonight and finished 2nd with a record of 11-9.
:jumping1:

Playoffs start on Monday but the two top teams get a bye so they're be practicing hard this week.....and waiting for their part of the playoffs to begin!!! :teeth:

Matt's team did a great job! I'm crossing my fingers for successful playoffs.

My reunion was nice. None of the group of friends that I ran around with in high school showed up, so that was a disappointment. But I did see lots of other friends. I got lots of hugs and had fun visiting. We will get together again in four or five years, so I'll have to drum up some of my old "gang" and see if we can get together next time.

Now I'm busy packing David for his first week of summer camp. We deliver him to church camp tomorrow afternoon. Busy, busy, busy. Oh, and Amy is complaining that she's getting a sore throat. Allen may be taking David to camp without me. At least it's not the kid that's leaving that is feeling rotten.

I got this as an e-mail and i had to share it.

1. If you are choking on an ice cube, don't panic. Simply
pour a cup of boiling water down your throat and presto! The
blockage will be almost instantly removed.
2. Clumsy? Avoid cutting yourself while slicing vegetables by getting someone else to hold them while you chop away.
3. Avoid arguments with the Mrs. about lifting the toilet
seat by simply using the sink.
4. High blood pressure sufferers: Simply cut yourself and bleed for awhile, thus reducing the pressure in your veins.
5. A mouse trap, placed on top of your alarm clock, will
prevent you from rolling over and going back to sleep when you hit the snooze button.
6. If you have a bad cough, take a large dose of laxatives,
then you will be afraid to cough.
7. Have a bad tooth ache? Hit your thumb with a hammer, then
you will forget about the tooth ache.

AND..... Sometimes we just need to remember what The Rules of Life really are: You need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the duct tape. Everyone seems normal until you get to know them. If you woke up breathing, congratulations! You have another chance!
And finally... Be really good to your family and friends.
You never know when you are going to need them to empty your
bedpan.
.

Hi everyone! :wave2:

I'm back early , this weekend was a disaster but at least I tried!

I have no energy to catch up so I'll just find lou's last recap and start fresh in the morning.

nite ch'all

ps i missed u guys

Oh dear, Star. Sorry your weekend didn't go well.

I'm still up. David has been on a marathon packing session. He also had to work up his number for the talent show. Why does he wait until the night before and then pick a song he's never done before? Anyway, I think he's got it, but now we'll probably be too tired to get up for church.

afternoon all

Star - sorry to hear your weekend hasn't been good

Lars - hope your cousin is doing okay

having a break from packing, can't believe i leave next weekend

Good morning everyone.

Gail, Hurray for Matt and his team. How did Coach Dick's team do?

Mike, nice rules.....for men.

No church for us today. I am taking a break from the minister. We may try some other churches this summer.

DFIL & DMIL are taking us all out for brunch this morning. St. Perkins, here we come.

Morning All!

LK - I hope you all had a great time this weekend and everyone stayed warm.

Gail - Woo Hoo for Matt and his team!!:bounce: :bounce:

Carol - St. Perkins sounds yummy!

MP - have fun tonight!

Went to the Outback Steakhouse for dinner last night. I'm still stuffed. Watched the Belmont (I think that was it) and it was funny how everyone in the restaurant was cheering. My MIL was yelling so loud and clapping her hands. Not the ending we all wanted though. SIL and I are taking the kids to go see Shreck II this afternoon - the day is still gloomy and cool.

Enjoy your day everyone!

Good Morning!
Just back from church. I like the 8:00 service the best. No problem parking!!

MP, How big was your graduating class? Just wondering, they wouldn't even try to take a photo of our class. I graduated in 74.
Class size 1,600.
We have our 30th High School Reunion in November!

Lars, will say a prayer for your cousin. Hope everythings goes well

SB, wondering how your SIL is doing

I'm hoping LK and the gang didn't get rain all Day Long!

We went to a big graduation party yesterday and it rained all Day , but it was inside, so that was ok.
I'm SO glad BB and Andy didn't stick with their original Wedding Date of June 5th. It was a soggy Day!! They changed it to May 29th, because of my best friend having this Graduation Party June 5th. She had already booked the hall and we hadn't.
BB will be glad to hear that May 29th really was a better Day!

Sandi, there were around 600 in my graduating class, but there were only about 70 of us there last night. And I think they said over 400 of us still live in Oklahoma. But as the years go by there are fewer that show up. I think '78 had fewer than we did, but together and with spouses it was a good turnout.

Boy am I tired today. I got enough sleep, but weird hours. I'm too old for this. ;) We didn't go to church and we'll have to miss again next week. We'll be shuffling David and his friend to Amarillo, TX for the second week of camp on Sunday.

SB, Outback is my favorite. You make me hungry just thinking about it.

Have fun at breakfast Carol.

How is the packing progressing, Cami?

Hi All!

DH is going to take the kids to see HP this afternoon:D
I need to do some grocery shopping while they're doing that.

This is the last week of school for the kids here.....I am ready for the year to be over & summer to begin:sunny:

:wave2: Hi all... survived the bachelorette party :teeth: Very tired now though... all went well, no one was sloppy drunk and we all had a agreat time.

but since I slept like 3 hours on a couch, forgive my pathetic reply :p

Afternoon all!

Shrek 2 was o.k., but I like the first one better. The kids liked it so I guess that's all that counts.

Sandi - still no word on my SIL. i think if she doesn't have the baby by Thursday, they will take her in.

DH is golfing today w/ some of his co-workers. I'm not cooking dinner. I think we might go out for pizza.

Did LK & the gang make it back?

Hi everyone !

SB - I enjoyed Shrek 2 but liked the first one a lot better too ... maybe because the idea was "new" with no expectations ...

Hugs and prayers for all who need them

Went to my company picnic yesterday ... the rain held off for the most part and I won a $25 Mobil gas card playing bingo and a portable CD player in a raffle drawing ... not a bad day !
Today I've been totally lazy ... I did make it to the grocery store but that's all the accomplishment I can report ...

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday !

Hi all....

busy day today................I think since my DH goes away Mon-Fri for work........he feels we need to cram every project into one day! So, today I powerwashed the patio........and the siding in back. And just finished 4 hours of staining the kids playset! He finished painting the porch....and is now putting sealer on the patio....................

and to make things worse.........Sue called me from the pool to tell me how nice it was!!

Kaitlin returned home from her adventure with the LK's and had a great time...........she said: Mom, I loved riding on Leah's motorcycle.....can I get one?..............uh......NO!;) :teeth:

off to scrounge something for dinner.......might have to be a pizza night........b/c I am way too tired to cook!:teeth: ::yes:: :wave2:

have to catch up later......if I am still awake!;)

Lou :p

Hey all you Nascar fans... I was driving my minivan rental back to the airport today, and I saw someone who loved 18 and hated 24 (based off of stickers and license plate). Just curious who those people are.
