The LOU-owee was fun and i enjoy the show as well as the food!!

and I love the Park fair because Bert is there and you never see him anywhere and the variety of food is wonderful. G thinks Alice is a hottie so I enjoy watching him blush when he has his picture made.......I know, I know I'm mean.

Star....I feel your pain....our inlaws must be cast from the same mold.

Not a big fan of the Lou-OWWW, the entertainment was wonderful, the food was mediocre.

course I"m a huge fan of HDDR though..

Bethany: enjoyed seeing the Mickey's. I liked how you took a picture first of the title plate then the Mickey....very helpful of you! I don't remember seeing any of those ones when I was there except for the Kelly Ripa one.

Always thinking like a scrapbooker :) Ill need all that info when I do a layout of these pics.

Cool pictures Bethany! We're going to get to see the statues in Boston in June! :earsboy:

I think we've got this eyeball set except for the final part. The model had to have seven different structures identified....and each of a different edible materia.!! Does anyone have a simple recipe for a sugar glaze? The cornea has to be somewhat clear. I thought of a piece of onion but the rest of it is sweet materials and that just doesn't go with it! :earseek:

If anyone is curious,
the main eyeball is cookie dough
the conjuctiva is marshmallow
the retina is a red Sour Patch straw
the optic nerve is a green Sour Patch straw
the lens is a Listerine breath strip
the iris is a green gummy lifesaver
the pupil is a chocolate chip

Come on Lou, when you were 12 you would have thought it was cool. Look at what the people eat on Survivor! :earseek:

Powdered Sugar Glaze: Combine 1 cup unsifted C and H Powdered Sugar with 1-1/2 tablespoons water. Stir until smooth

about as simple as it gets!! lol

Buy a box of hot Krispy Kreme doughnuts. Scrape off glaze with a butterknife.

Eat remainder..repeat as necessary!

I like Alan's suggestion. :teeth: I'm too tired to respond to anyone else. Instead I'll just wave. :wave2:

It's definitely HOT in Oklahoma. Summer is here. I spent most of the day in the storage unit with my mom. Whew! We melted. Got a lot done, but it's going to be a long week trying to clear her stuff out by next Monday. And unfortunately his boxes and her boxes are all mixed together. What a mess. We have to open each box to see if it's his or hers. (Much of it was going to be a big garage sale that they were planning to have together so they jumbled it all up.) We made two trips in the van to the Salvation Army to drop stuff off and another to her house to bring stuff back home.

After I showered I went shopping. I got Allen a grilling cookbook by Bobby Flay for his birthday and a grilling skillet to go with it. With all the confusion of the last week or so, I hadn't started shopping for his birthday and it's this Friday. It's sneaking up on me! I've been wanting to frame something for him and this might be the time to do it. He first went to Disneyland when he was small. My guess would be it was around '68 or '69. His parents bought a map of the park that was like a poster you could hang on your wall (not the kind you carry around). They gave it to us and I know he'd love to have it framed, so I'll try to check into it tomorrow, but I'm sure it won't be ready in time.

I'm getting ready to make pizza pasta for dinner. My whole gang likes that one and it's easy. I also wanted something that wouldn't heat up the whole kitchen. Personally, a nice cold drink sounds pretty good right now. :drinking1

Very tired here today too... I hope we don't have any storms tonight so I can sleep. Well dashing out, just wanted to say hi :wave2:

Bad storms heading my way. Hail the size of tennis balls or larger. Oh boy! And I just got back on the computer in the living room. If anything happens to it I intend to throw a fuzzy fit.

LOL....Matt likes this idea!!!

Thanks Star, that's just what I was looking for. ::yes::

Hope everyone stays safe during any storms tonight.

Evening All!

Alan - I like your icing suggestion!:hyper:

Gail - good luck w/ the project. we want to see the finished product.

Star - My IL's aren't that bad. Some things they do bother me - just not stuff we do in my family.

Got my plants (from Logan's troop fundraiser) finally planted. LK - tell Logan they look great! Got a lot of weeding done. Cut the front grass and made hot dogs, hamburgers, corn on the cob and baked beans for dinner. I had the neighbors over too. I am tired and will probably be very sore tomorrow. Going to buy tickets for Mamma Mia tomorrow - the show is coming here in July.:Pinkbounc :bounce:

Been a long day here. Nick had a game tonight and they lost with a run rule. It was something like 11-2. Nick had to sit out tthe game because the boy my mom watches hurt him tonight right before we left for the field. Nick has a new chest guard shirt so "A" (age 12 almost 13) decided to PUNCH him in the chest to see if it would hurt him:mad:  It did!!!! He is still sore but at least it doesn't hurt to breath now. This child is headed for some serious trouble if this continues. He is very book smart but has NO common sense! The thing that irritates me is that if Nick had hit him his mom would have told him to punch Nick. However, her child doesn't deserve to be hit back because he was just playing:mad: (She told her 15yo to hit a 6 yo because the little girl had supposedly hit him!!He had failed to mention that he was teasing her unmercifully at the time. Heck I almost hit him when I discovered what was going on!) Ok rant over:)
Well I'm off to bed. I'll have to catch up in the morning if time permits. Night:wave2:

Good morning everyone.

Carolyn, that falls under the "What are some people thinking" group of ways to mess up your kid.

Bethany, cool pictures.

Alan, great idea about the icing.

Gail, does anyone have to eat the eyeball?

I have a meeting at 8 with the biology teacher, guidance counselor, and principal; about Andrew's grade in that class. Then a dentist appointment at 9:20. Plus I have to go order the food for Sarah's party. And I wonder why I can't sleep.

See you all later. Wish me luck this morning.

Good Morning All:wave:

Carol~Good Luck in your meeting~I hope that you'll get things straightened out for Andrew.

mmmmmmm....it's been awhile since we've discussed St Krispy of the Kreme around here........yummmmmmmmm

 Lars. I will just think of all the Angels in Uniform backing me up.

So do y'all like my new siggy? Sarah found that art for me.
