I chose not to put UCONN through to the end because throughout the season you never knew which team was going to show up......even with their good record consistency was not quite their strong point ......but when I handed in my bracket I did say that I wouldn't mind losing if UCONN proved me wrong ! I should have done a little research on Stanford's past tourney experience ... apparently they usually stink when the madness rolls around......

DH and I went out to breakfast again today, instead of church. This could get to be a habit.

My Maryland team lost yesterday. I haven't checked, but I think I am going downhill with my brackets now.

So, everyone who wants an antenna topper, let Lou know so he can send me a check, then I will buy them. My antenna retracts into the car when the radio is turned off, so I can't have one either.

Carolyn, so sad about Alex. When our dogs died we buried them in the yard and planted trees over them. Maybe something like that would help Nick. There is a good book out called The Tenth Good Thing About Barney that might help also.

Steph, I don't have any problem with what you did with the window. Last fall, Andrew and I were out in the car. He put the window down a little to talk to someone and when he tried to put it up, it wouldn't go. I couldn't get it up with my button either. So he thought the same thing: maybe if I put it down all the way, it will go up. Nope, it wouldn't. It was very cold driving home at 55mph in 40º weather with the window down. We finally got it back up but the button still doesn't work so we just don't use that window.

I think I hear some dirty laundry calling my name.

Hi All

We're having a lazy day....hanging around the house...........DH is watching horrible movies on TV( one of his hobbies) and we've only got about 1/2 hour til we have to leave for Matthew's last hockey game of the season.....it'd be nice if they could end the season with a win......GO LIGHTENING!
Megan went to see Cabaret with MIL & DH's aunt......then they'll take her out to dinner & then deliver her home so she can finish working on her Biology project that's due tomorrow.

just back from seeing Starksy and Hutch....hubbie had been dying to go, and feels a bit let done, thinks they took the micky a bit too much! he expected it to be more like the original i think.

not much going on here just now, he's on the PS" and i'm playing about on the internet, hoping to be able to talk him into going out for dinner tonight....we've been quite naughty this weekedn with regards to eating out.

Sadly they lost 5-1.......but they did get 2nd place trophys

Her project is about Cambrian period fossils.

My brunch party is over and I overate big time! It was a lot of fun and the kids succeeded in messing up the basement and their bedrooms all over again.

It's nice to look outside now at 6pm and see that it is still light outside. I know soon we'll start seeing some springtime weather. Tomorrow night it is supposed to go down to 18 degrees!!!!! I can't believe it.
