Morning Everyone!

Lars - good job to Matt for coming in 2nd!!!

Sandi - I've never heard of the chocolate fountain. That sounds very interesting and yummy!

Donna - Can I send my DH to where your DH went? I need a break! He usually is sent out 1 or 2 times a year for 3 weeks at a time, but they haven't had any details for over a year. Stinks when you need the o/t money.

We had a great time at the hockey game yesterday. Pens won in O/T 4-3! It was the first time DS and DD went to a game. DD was asking to leave in the first period, but we kept giving them food! Pitt won also, so it was a glorious day in Pgh for sports!
The sun is shining, but it looks cold out. Not sure what DD and I will be doing today.

Lou~sometimes one must state the obvious

Lars...for your reading pleasure:
UNH Hockey To Play Michigan
NCAA Northeast Regional

Pairings came out for the upcoming NCAA Northeast Regional Hockey tournament, and UNH is seeded third. The Wildcats will play second seeded Michigan in the 3:30 game next Saturday. Number one Boston College will play number four Niagara at noon. The winners play at 4:00 Sunday. Michigan has advanced to 13 straight Regional Championships, but they will have to get through NH to make it 14. UNH has been to the Frozen Four in four of the last six years.

Mornin' everyone! I'm about to wake the kids up to get ready for school. I'm off to Curves after the bus comes, then to the library to research vacuums (maybe), then off to Sears to buy a new vacuum since my Hoover died. Sound like a fun day???

Good morning everyone.

Today starts Sarah's second week to be in Annapolis. DH is going to take her. Then Andrew has his first tennis match this afternoon. He is not starting but may scrimmage.

Lots of girl scout stuff to do today. (this is a FULL time job!).
Donna, I was a scout leader years ago and I agree. I would spend all week getting ready for the meeting, have the meeting, then start again. When the co-leader and I said we were going to change the meeting to once every other week instead of weekly, another mom told us that we just "needed to get organized." I could have committed murder.

Off to work.

Good morning all! Busy here this morning...

Donna, I hope all goes well for you today with all you have to do!

Lorraine, glad you had fun at the game! It is especially great when the team wins ::yes::

Kathy, good luck with the vacuum research... did that a couple of years ago and wound up with a hoover :)

:wave2: HI everyone else

Good Morning!

Well, I put the deposit down on the chocolate fountain yesterday, You get 25 lbs. of Belgian chocolate. I'm thinking possible leftovers!!:D Fondue party??

Kathy, I love Orecks. I actually know a couple people who have had theirs for over 20 years now. Yes, I have one also.
You can get the one with the 7 year warranty or the 21 year warranty, and they take care of it right out at your Oreck store.

I'm working 1/2 day then heading out the the mall dress shopping again! Wish me Luck!

SB, I love watching Hockey! It' SO exciting! Haven't caught one this year yet.

Laundry is almost done here...

Now that, ladies and gentlemen, is true multi-tasking! :p

My first day back at work since a half day Wednesday. I am still sick, weak, grouchy, sleezy and all the other dwarves....

I see the ya'll-ya'lls came by while I was out; it's always nice to have visitors.

My oldest daughter is home on spring break this week and now she is getting sick too :(

I cancelled my audition for the commercial today. It would have paid better than anything I have ever done before, but I was not willing to shave just for the audition. I've done that before and did not get the part so it is just not worth it to me.

Lars & Steph - why don't you bet the kids?! :smooth:

Sandi - good luck finding a dress! i hate looking for outfits when you know you have to get one soon - makes it a lot harder.

E - you havin' fun at work yet? :wave2:

Sandi, I have heard great things about Oreck vacuums too... I think also Dyson is a good one especially if you have pets. I'm just glad we don't have to go shopping for one anytime soon (knock on wood)

Alan, I am the queen of mutlitasking ;) Don't blame you for not shaving. Not sure I'd ever be willing to do anything that would require very short hair!

Um no, Lorraine, work isn't fun... got a bit boring again so I started dreaming of moving to Florida... thinking somewhere between Tampa & Orlando... wonder if I'd miss winter :p

BTW, we have an Oreck and love it

I also thought of the angels yesterday when I picked up four dozen Krispy Kreme doughnuts for Sunday school!

A lot of folks were out so I have almost 2 dozen glazed and a few assorted still at my house. Who wants to pop by? :teeth:

Sorry to hear you are still not too good Alan!

You reminded me of when I went to the presentation and interview for the international programme. It was a two-hour presentation then 15 mins interviews for all hopefuls (I think there were 100+ of us there). At the end of the presentation, after they had explained Disney's rules on hair etc a lad with shoulder length hair (not acceptable for Disney cast) walked out because he did not want to have to cut his hair for the job. Seemed a shame after everything.

However, if you had to shave before you even got the job and didn't want to I totally see your point. He wasn't even willing to consider it. Which I suppose is also fair enough.

Anyways, hello to all. I have plenty of work to do and a corned beef ash to make so best get to it!

Cya,
Gaspode

I guess so...I assume you have to cook it a long time at a hot temperature to get it to ash? :p

Or is that your lovely accent again?
