Hi all... I'm here... my dad is here right now and we were watching the HS finals for women's basketball... where I used to live won :)

Lorraine, all the more reason for you to get those tickets... you won't regret it ;)

Carol it really does sounds like you are getting excited!! Lucky you!

Donna, so glad you didn't have to work 12 hours today!!

Those toppers are too cute!!!

Sure, I'll buy! And personally deliver ;)

BTW I saw Fleetwood Mac in 1977. I'll be in the corner crying now thank you very much.

Funny thing happened today....I'm driving back from NYC and a car in front of me had a personalized plate that said IM IN. I damn near drove off the road. The only reason I didn't think it was our pal Brian is that it was one of those plates with a team logo on it and this one had the Yankees logo

Methinks you need some driving lessons or you'll be replacing more tires!!!!
:p

Hello Angels, Cherubs, and Ya Yas. Wow, we are really getting popular.

Interesting day, we were busy. I think I solved the mystery of Sadie eating snow. Her bottom gums are very swollen, the cold must make it feel better. Guess we will be off to locate a vet that specializes in old dogs. She is going down fast. It is so sad.

We did all the weeks end errands today, but then Pete discovered some things to do tomorrow. His California trip got postponed for a month, so he will start packing for Germany tomorrow. He got new luggage today, he is like a kid on Christmas with new toys.

I got clued in to an interesting thread on the CB, but I think it's a rerun from last year. But you know what they say, fashion repeats itself, if you keep stuff long enough, it comes back in style. But somethings never go out of style, like jeans, right Angels?

Pete is watching the 3 Muscateers, it was not my kind of film, so I am here instead.

Never saw if there was a Saturday riddle, guess I'll go on the look see.

Hi everyone and the Ya Ya's too!

It has been busy here no time to catch up. But I thought I read something about Lou buying?

Have a great evening!!

Hi everyone. I did a ton of cooking today in preparation for the brunch I'm having tomorrow. Seven children will be here too. I'm going to have a lot of leftovers too. The house is in tip top shape and I'm ready for a crowd.

Next week I'm getting a crown on a molar that has a lot of fillings in it. I hope it won't hurt. I also have to buy a new vacuum. My old one broke when I vacuumed up what I think was my daughter's sock using the tool attachment. It was only around 4 years old. So after Curves on Monday I'll be hitting Sears to pick up a new one. Now that I think of it maybe I'll go to the library first and see what Consumer Reports recommends.

Good Evening everyone. It has been a very stressful day. Nick is still very upset about Alex's dying. He was given the chance to say goodbye and then refused to get out of the van when my parents were getting ready to take Alex to the vet. He insisted he had to go. He went in the end. He said goodbye and then my dad said they couldn't get him to leave the vets. We have been called "killers" and "murderers" now. Nick doesn't understand that Alex was in great pain and even the vet said he only had hours left. He also wants to know if we will have to put his dog to sleep some day. I was actually suprised he asked about Sasha and not trixie. Trixie is 12 and terminally ill. She is still living a good life but we wont let her suffer if she starts showing signs of decline. I assured him that it would probably be a good long time before we have to think about Sasha because she is still fairly young. I finally got him to take his jacket off tonight. He didn't want to because it reminded him of Alex. Currently his cousin and friend are distracting him and trying to get him to play video games. I do beleive it is time to go to sleep. I still need to decide if we are going to attempt to make it to church in the morning.

Where is everyone today?

Left the house at 9:00 a.m. and didn't get back until 7:30!
Didn't get a chance to check in here yesterday. Had my 2nd fitting on my dress, all is perfect, they will have it steamed and I will pick it up 2 days before the wedding.

Hit JoAnne Fabrics, the mall, and had lunch at chili's with one of my friends. I could NOT find a dress for the shower. They really have some ugly stuff out this year:confused: I'll probably head back out this afternoon to try some different stores after church and the gym.

SB, I would love to see Fleetwood Mac too. It wouldn't interest Billy at all though.

Carolyn, I sorry to hear that Nick is so upset.
My kids lost a dog when they were little, got hit by a car. I remember how hard it was on them.

:wave2: To all the Ya Ya's

Carolyn - hugs for the loss of Alex .... hope that Nick is able to realize in time that it was for the best ....

Well I'm about to have my bracket burning ceremony .... my champ (Stanford) bit the dust yesterday ...... so now I just say GO UCONN !!

Can I get some other cute Easter memento from WDW (and not that bunny suit Lou has picked out) .... I don't have an antenna !
Maybe I can hang it from my rearview mirror :D :D

Hope everyone has a great Sunday !

Hello Angels! It was nice chatting with you!

Hey Leanne,
Great to see you!
Stop by often.

Lou~cute story about the license plate. Seems Lou and I now have a ritual of trading "car" stories...so here's mine from yesterday:

Around 4:00 I decided to take Patrick to the mall to get new sneakers. We get in the car..head down the road, by the end of our road, I realize the passenger side window is down about 1/2 inch....which annoys the crap outta me, so I try to put it up...cept it doesn't go......

Then I ask Patrick to see if it goes down....*what goes up must go down* or something like that, right? It goes down.....AAAAAALLLLLLL the way down, to only about 1 inch above the edge of the door. So, back home we go. Sit in the driveway and beep the horn til DH comes outside to see what is the matter. I say "THE WINDOW WON'T GO UP!!!" He informs me that one of the boys on the fishing trip was playing with it and now it doesn't work! GREAT!!! Thanks for that tidbit.

So, DH comes outside, tries the same things I did. Window won't go up. But WILL go down! Now window is completely down, inside the door of the car, AND is starts to rain!!! I'm so NOT happy right now!

We come back in the house, stomp around, can't find the owners manual that may have the fuse map so we can check the fuse..ggggrrr...it's really raining now. We stomp back outside. Being the wonderful wife I am, I ask him "WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO???" His response....something I can't print here!!

So Neil goes out to the car. Gets in the drivers side, starts the car. and then SWITCHES THE WINDOW LOCK BUTTON OFF, and gets the window to go up first try!!!!!!!

 stop it!!!

Steph, you are one brave woman telling a story like that!;)
and Oh yeah,
(and thanks for finding the antenna topper picture).

Sandi: Good luck finding a dress for the shower. I agree that some of the stuff out right now is really ugly!

Sandy: I CAN NOT BELIEVE YOU DIDN'T PICK UCONN AS YOUR FINAL TEAM! My husband, the die hard Pitt fan, picked UCONN as his final team! (I told him he had to move!;) )

Carolyn: :grouphug: for you and Nick.

Leanne: nice to see you. Come visit us again.

Kathy: hope your brunch went well.

 Good Morning Everyone else!!!!!!!

Good morning everyone!

Hi Leanne!! Good to see you... sorry we couldn't chat more!

Marsha, so sorry that Sadie isn't doing all that well  I hope that Sadie does well, in the remaining time.

Carolyn, I am so sorry about Nick and how he is reacting :( My heart goes out to you all

Sandi, sounds like a busy day for you, but I am so very glad to hear that everything is perfect for you with the dress!!

Sandy, I have a topper hanging from my rear view mirror as well... that's the only way I keep them w/o them being stolen now :)

Steph, no laughing here about that story (at least not too much) but glad the window got fixed :)

Good morning Donna

Good Morning Everyone!

Sandi - i think if Fleetwood Mac were playing at the Arena, I would be willing to go. I can't stand the drive to the Pavilion.

Marsha - so sad about Sadie.:(

Steph - sorry, but that was a funny story!

Kathy - hope the brunch went well. i managed to at least make scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, and toast for breakfast.

Carolyn - is Nick feeling any better today? i remember when i was little and we had to give our dogs puppies away - always a hard time when things happen with animals.

Those bunny toppers are adorable. I want one!!! Going to the Penguins game this afternoon, and hopefully will be back to catch the ending of the Pitt game.

I don't just want one of those Bunny Antenna toppers....I need it! and I do remember Lou being volunteered to buy at least a dozen of em..........:p

Leanne~Good to see you again!:wave2:

Steph~All I can say is :rotfl:
Similar stroy~My friend Marcia & her DH were upset a few years ago when their refrigerator broke.......so they of course called the repair man immediately.......he came out & told them that their refirgerator wasn't broken......the light had burnt out! We've still never let em live that one down.....

Carolyn~ for you & Nick.

Carol~It sounds like you had a fun trip to Target.....:D My favorite store!

Sandi~You'll find the absolute perfect dress.....just be patient & when you're not looking you'll stumble upon it.

Sandy~you shoulda gone with UCONN from the start.....

Marsha~I hope Sadie is alright:hug:

Kathy~again.....YUMMY!!!!! What time should I be there for leftovers???

Lou~those are actually far more modest than the current uniform!!!

This is just so wrong on so many levels.....

Brian, apparently you did not heed John's warning that Angels and wives make for a deadly combination. This will do nothing to help my efforts to keep as much space as Steph uses in her posts between the Angels and my wife....

...which brings us to....Hey Steph, at least Neil figured it out. It would have been worse if you had called AAA!
