Ugh, snow here... getting worse as the time goes on too :(

Gail, I hope you don't get the sleet they suggested! That would be a PITA to deal with!!! Stay safe!

Donna, I hope Dan has a safe trip! I just got a PM from Dan Murphy and they don't have more than a dusting there, so if you don't get much, he has a good chance of getting back home today :)

 @ Lou!

Steph, I do hope you guys have school today!!! That wouldnt' be a nice day to have it canceled at all!

Lorraine, I hope your day isn't thrown off too much today.

Well work to catch up on... have a great day all!

Good Mornign All!

Sounds like almost everyone will be dealing with snow ~ supposed to be 1-3 inches here.

Bethany~I hope that you get the tub fixed ASAP

Elaine~I don't know?? I'm starting to think that you might just be avoiding MI;) ;) :p ;) ;) Steph always says no one comes here on purpose.....

It's election day everyone! As Marsha says....get out and vote.....

it's such a tough decision this year.....

I'm really pulling for  for obvious reasons....but being like most, change is difficult, and I feel an allegiance to the good ole boy (or is it a girl?? Hard to tell I've had about 30 people tell me different versions.....anyways, I digress, the water must be getting deep)

so go, be fruitful, or Louful....but VOTE!!!

Look, I even gave you a link:

Logan is feeling a little bit better today. I was hoping for a delay so he could sleep in some, but it didn't work out that way. He was just fighting with Leah at breakfast, so that is a sure sign he is on the road to recovery.

Gotta get moving for work!

I voted.....................we've gotta support our

LOL, Lars... I am *not* avoiding Michigan... that was such a hard call!! I was even starting to look into spending the night there but this came along. And how can I tell my husband who *finally* started to do something sweet & out of the blue "no"... he'd never try it again :p

Oh voting... so very very hard.... what to choose

It's snowing....it's snowing!!! Mother Nature and I just didn't see eye to eye on the matter:mad: :p I had to reschedule getting the car fixed (nothing big just a recall fix) I guess there is at least 6in of snow where I was going and white out conditions. There is alot of country roads and I found out that they aren't clear yet. So now I go next Wed. (E - I go to Kehl's in Mechanicsburg in case you are wondering why I would have to drive country roads:) ) Well Nick is trying to arrange for a friend to come over since school is cancelled. He usually comes over on snow days anyway. Hmm maybe I can get a hold of the guy doing baseball lessons today since school is out.

Bethany - hope the tub is fixed soon. Ours gets clogged alot. I have a wire hanger I use to pull the gunk out with. If that doesn't help then foaming draino usually will. I was told last time to open the trap in the basement and clean it out that way. Yuck!! I decided Drano had better work!!

E - looks like I will have to use some of thoses ingrediants soon. Apparently I have been volunteered to bake at least 3 doz. cookies for Nick's Bible Quizzing dinner on the 4th. Now I have to figure out when exactly to do this. Nick has baseball on the 27th and Quizzing on the 3rd.

Sandi - sounds like you got a great deal on those bikes!::yes::

Ok I better go get dressed. Apparently Nick's friend is coming over

Back from the bus stop. Slid all the way down the hill in pelting hard snow!:scared1: It is like an ice and snow mix.

I almost turned around and brought my kids back home. Since our school district has already used up all of its snow makeup days, I guess they won't cancel anymore school no matter what the weather. Now they have to figure out how to get them home! Nitwits!

Voted for the

LK, glad Logan is feeling better.

I voted for the one least likely to get me put on IGNORE.

Lars, I saw the NJ meet but the date isn't good for me.

I think Carol might be going.

I voted

Wanda, we invited you to chat last night, why didn't you stay?

Hmmm, went back to bed, and Pete called at 7:42 and woke me up, he is coming back tonight. I didn't have the heart to tell him that it was going to be a big snow. He is flying into Boston, maybe he will have to spend the night in Chigago. SO far it is really nice out.

I am just waiting for the oil man, we could probably last 4 more weeks with whats left in the tank, but EVERYONE (whomever they are) is saying you can never tell how long winter will be and how late before it is really spring, blah blah blah, so another 100 gallons or so, but that is it. NO MORE!

Off to see what else is going on.

Later, dudes and dudettes.

Hello Angels!

I have read through all of the pages of catch up. Here is a quick update from me:

Thursday - The filming in Selma went well. The crew was very polite and I was in two scenes which only took about 30 minutes total to film!

Friday - I stayed home to help prepare for the onslaught of family coming in for the party Saturday. Part of the day was spent at a party supply store since I finally got in touch with the company I had ordered supplies from only to discover that their email they sent giving me a ship date was a "mistake". The truth was that the items were back ordered and had not shipped at all. DO NOT USE TOYHUNT.COM!!

Saturday - Very casual, but fun birthday party for Abigail. Lots of family and friends. We had tables and chairs from the church in our backyard and the weather was beautiful.

I had started getting sick Friday night with a cold. Once the party ended, I went into full sick mode and stayed there through yesterday. (Just a cold with cough, weakness, etc.)

So a quick hello. I'll probably only work a half day today and go back to bed! See y'all later!

 Alan!

We were worried you were snowed under. Oops, I forgot, you don't get snow!

Hey Marsha,
I just got oil today too...how much was yours?

:wave2: everyone
Back from doing all my errands, and managed to find some cute area rugs for the kitchen and dining room...so i'm a happy girl!

bought LK1.5 for tomorrow, and the likely event that the boys will not have school. I actually LOVE snow days....this week is just poor timing.

DOn't know yet, Bill will be here today or tomorrow! I don't even ask, I just write the check, but I'll let you know. How much was yours? I paid 1.49 last month, I hope it has gone down a little.

Good afternoon.

Rain/snow/slush/yuck here.

I voted for

Lou, originally I looked at that meet but it is too far away for me when I don't know anyone. I was hoping for NJ closer to Delaware.

Just home for lunch. Back to work.

Marsha, you all had chat last night and didn't invite me?? :( ;)

Alan, sounds like a good and bad weekend for you! Very cool about the filming and I am glad that the party went well. I hope you are feeling 100% better soon though :)

Lou, think we should send Alan some of the snow? :teeth: I have plenty here (and it is still coming down)

Steph, I hope that you all do have school tomorrow. if not enjoy watching TLK 1.5! I haven't seen that one yet.

Carol, stay safe in that wintery ick!

WEll we were off the internet for about an hour or two here... didn't realize how much I acutally do use it for work

Elaine, Lars was in charge of invitations. You were not online, maybe you were winking at us?

Alan, I keep forgetting to say this. You are in a Japanese movie? Does that mean your dialog will be dubbed in Japanese? How will that sound? Ko neeecheee wah, y'all? And what about the mouth movements and the dubbed words, do they teach you how to do that so it never matches up?

JUST KIDDING, you know I am teasing you, Alan.

So far no snow here. No oil delivery, no mail, no snow. Life is good! The dogs are passed out on the couch (surprised?) and I think I am going to watch LK1.5 myself.

TTFN

Marsha, sounds like life is very good for you!! Actually yesterday my AIM shut off and I didn't realize I was offline until very late last night. probably where I was... either that or cooking :)
