It's finally my turn to grumble about the weather. You all sound like you have spring sunshine and it's stormy here. The wind is blowing with gusts up to 35 miles an hour and it's pouring. Yuck! The good news is that it is supposed to blow through and get nice again this afternoon. So I guess I can't complain too much.

Amy, Allen and I are getting ready for church. David will go to services with the youth conference before he heads back home.

Well, Dan and his sore finger left for Vegas. Although the weather here looks like it will be nicer. (but I am sure he won't get out much anyway!) Sue told him he is lucky he didn't hurt his blackjack finger!

Kaitlin just finished her research paper. I thought it would take her all day and ruin our beautiful day with us fighting about it, but she got it done!

Anyone watching the Oscars tonight? I basically just want to see Billy Crystal's opening and then I could care less. (although I am hoping for Johnny Depp to win). I haven't even seen any of the movies!

Thanks so much for sharing the It's come out here now and the day is looking much better. We're home from church. David has returned from the conference.

I'm trying to whip this group into shape. Lots we need to get done in the next couple of weeks, so this looks like a work afternoon. We are listening to Jimmy Buffet while we toil to remind us what we have to look forward to.

FM - we will be there for the St. Pats parade! We always stand at the corner of the Blvd and Stanwix. DH's cousin who is a judge is having an after parade party somewhere on 4th Ave. I will be watching the Pitt game today and Tues. also. I've always loved Pitt basketball & football.

Sandi - hope you enjoyed your bike ride. my DS was out earlier riding his new bike.

We had a great time last night at the St Pats party. We left the club around 1 and went to get some Primanti's sandwiches w/ my BIL. Got home around 2:30! I'm never out that late. The kids had fun sleeping over at Grandma's. Trying to get some cleaning done. Have a great day everyone!

What a beautiful day. I did get a walk in and the boys rode their new bikes.

The puppet is done. I told Nick the teacher better give me an A, oops I mean him an A.

LK don't worry as long as Logan is in either band or chorus he won't have to take performing arts.

I just have Matt's table of contents for his poetry project to type and my weekend homework is done.

Dh is making hamburgers on the grill. I love this weather.

Carol the dress is beautiful.

Sandi I hope this weather holds up and you can get lots of bike rides in.

Quiet here today. Everyone must be out enjoying the weather.

We went to church this morning and did a couple of errands this afternoon before bathing the dogs and cleaning up the yard. I am tired now. We finally got DD a mobile phone. The one we wanted was sold out so they gave us a camera phone for the same price and threw in 2 less expensive phones so now DH and I have to move phone numbers and learn the new operations.

Have to start dinner. Pork chops and cheesy potatoes here.

Carol it sounds as though your Sunday was nice and quiet.My husband finally got a phone last year. He is still putting numbers in or should I say I'm putting the numbers in. He is even more electronically challenged than I am.

Matt is finishing up his CCD homework. Trumpet practice and we will finally have all the weekend work done.

Evening!!!! Busy day for us....we left the house at 7:45 for church...followed by a soccer game....errands for us...shopping and a vist with MIL & FIL....and very quick visit with my mom. We're finally home!

Would you please send some good wishes this way for FIL? He's trying to work through a medical issue and tonight's an important night for him. We're keeping our fingers crossed that all goes well because if it does he'll be much more comfortable going forward.

I'm also looking forward to watching Billy Crystal tonight.
