Must be the mid-winter-trip-planning bug that has bitten all of us.
Neil and I spent last night trying to decide if we wanted to do a DCL cruise in Feb 2005. We've kinda leaned away from that for now....looks like a WDW trip, and the Daytona 500.....not a bad consolation prize!
Cold, Cold, Cold here today....wish I could stay in with a good book, but MY honey-do list is quite long today.
I'm with you all on the "mid winter planning bug"!!!! I'm trying to decide about a trip in May....definitely want to go with my Mom....hopefully she'll be feeling better by then....
The QUESTION is whether or not to make the trip at the same time as one of my sisters. She, her husband, and my little nephew are ALSO planning a trip in May....but my FEAR is that the mix of all personalities involved might NOT make for such a "MAGICAL GATHERING"......I'm weighing the pro's and con's!
That bug is a bad one to catch!!! I caught a planning bug in December and I have one trip in the works. It's been a great thing to plan and look forward to in the cold months.
WEll I am tired again today but no caffeine in sight... hopefully I can wake up with out it
All right, Im up. These long weekends are killers when the next 'real' day comes along.
Sam still isnt up, but we have an hour before he needs to get to the corner for the bus.
I mentioned my neice stayed here the other night.....
Yesterday afternoon we had run out for lunch and were going to Barnes and Noble. My sister called me and said her dh was home and getting ready to come pick up Annie, so what time should he be there. This was at 3:30 or so. I told her we would be hom in 1/2 hour, so he could start heading over.
Well, we get home and no sign of him. I called at 4:30, was told he had left a little while ago. Its only 20 minutes between houses. I called again at 5:30 when he still wasnt there. She still didnt know where he was. SO she called him, he decided to stop at the car dealer to get something looked at on his truck. He thought it would only take a couple minutes, but it ended up taking longer. WHY DIDNT HE CALL HER so she could call us and tell us he was running late. I didnt have a problem taking Annie home, if we had known this we could have taken her home at about 4:00 and not been out all evening. As it turned out we didnt get hom until almost 8:00 since we stopped for dinner on the way home.
ok, vent over.
Now I am off to find the riddle and get Sam moving. Ill check in later. Have a good day
Carol!!!!I'm so glad that you booked your trip!!!!! I'm being veeeerrrryyy quiet so the kids won't find out!
Steph~Will the kids enjoy the Daytona?? or will you need Auntie Laura to watch them????? My trip is for next Feb around Dylan's birthday What's the date of next year's Daytona????
Bethany~Isn't it amazing how inconsiderate some people can be He could have at least let you know what he was doing.
**I was told yesterday that the Garage Door Repairman would be here today between 8:30 & 9:00.......guess what time I got up??? WHEN HE KNOCKED!!!! I guess I forgot?? I went stumbling to the door in my nightgown
After today, it is supposed to be in the 40's here for the rest of the week. I am looking forward to opening a few windows and getting some fresh air in here.
