Good Morning Sandi and Sandy!

Sandy, I would love to learn stamping some time. I have played around with making cards but have never used stamping in my scrapbooks before!

 to everyone!

Good morning everyone.

It looks beautiful outside.

DD, her friend, the friend's mom who is also my friend, and I are going out prom dress shopping and to lunch. Should be fun but could be expensive.

DH is taking DS to night skiing tonight. The Poconos are about 2 1/2 hours away. They will leave before we get home and I will be asleep before they get back. It is a whole day without seeing each other.

Hope Lars and family are having a safe drive. I wonder where they are now. Anyone know when they expected to arrive?

Have a great day.

Donna, I must have forgotten you were a scrapbooker! I really enjoyed it and I learned a lot!
You can stamp, then color in your stamp with either pencils or markers. I ordered a starter kit, so we'll see. I might incorporate it into my scrapbooking!

Good morning Sandi.

Funny story. I used to go to a women's circle at church. They would all talk about their different crafts. I always said how I was not crafty and was basically "craft impaired". One time they decided to have a stamping party for a meeting. Another member and I just could not do it. The stamps didn't print fully or were fuzzy. Ever since, they all agree that I am truely "craft impaired."

Bethany, those are beautiful!!

Carol, that is why I don't stamp much! Mine always smear and look terrible!

Good morning all!! Beautiful looking day outside!! I need to eventually get moving and go to the post office... been busy packaging some things up to mail out!

Bethany those are beautiful!!!!

Carol, I think I am mostly craft impared as well ;)

Have a great day all!!

In the words of the great Paul Harvey.......

:)

I didn't inherit my mom's craftiness or artistic abilities. So crafty, I am not:o :p

I'm waiting on my clothes to dry so I can take Nick's friend home. At 2 a friend is picking me up to go see another friends "new" house. She has owned it for a while now but no one could match schedules to get together. This means DH and DS will have to spend the afternoon together. (May need PD for this. DH isn't feeling well and DS is moody! Praying the house is still standing when I get back::yes:: )
Later:wave:

Good morning!:sunny:

It is beautiful out there today. We are moving slow today. Making a list, have to buy supplies to make the puppet today.

Donna is making note to self, do not let her DD take this class.
Really it isn't that bad Nick enjoys it. Maybe because I'm the one worring about the puppet.

Bethany your cards are beautiful. I am just learning to scrapbook.I tried a stamping party once I also smeared alot of them. I looks easier then it is.

Sandi, Sandy, E, Carol and anyone I forgot. Have a wonderful day!
If it sunny where you are enjoy it.:sunny: :sunny: :sunny:

Bethany, I Love those Cards!! They're beautiful!! I especially love the bike card!:teeth:
I would love to get into making cards! I have a feeling this is going to be another expensive hobby!!

Sneaking in a good morning before it's afternoon! :wave2:

Back from soccer practice and getting the van washed.....Matt's off to a monster truck show with a friend......EB's heading out on her bike.....and us old folk are settling in to watch my alma mater play St. Joe's.

Good Morning....errr...afternoon everyone!

Boys from sleepover have all departed. House has been put back together. And my babysitter for tonight has "a better offer" sigh....

Sue - welcome to the Vets club!!!!!!!!!

Sandi & Mary Jo - sounds like you had a great time stamping!

Chager - maybe you should stay away from your house for most of the day while the boys fight it out.

DD was a little scared at the Dentist yesterday. It was the first time at this dentist. At the end, she said it wasn't bad after all. She doesn't have any cavitites either! DS has an appt. in a couple of weeks, so we'll see about him. Last night, I pulled another loose tooth for him. He was crying, but i was determined not to have him go to bed looking like a hillbilly - the tooth was sticking forward. DH of course can't stand to have anything to do w/ the teeth pulling. Kids are sleeping at Grandma's tonight so that DH and I can go to the pre-St. Pat's party. LK, your smilie for me is funny!
Enjoy the nice weather everyone!

Er, Lorraine.....St. Pat's is still 18 days away! Starting a mite bit early aren't we?

:wave2:

Lou - my DH's family treats St. Pat's as a religious holiday!

we don't celebrate St. Valentine's Day..but we DO celebrate St. Patricks.....

:wave2: everyone!

No Sandi, I haven't stamped in my scrapbooks. I do have quite a few stamps from other projects. If I ever do, I'll probably stamp on squares of paper or something. I don't have enough confidence in my stamping abilities. I'd probably ruin the page.

Your pages are beautiful, Bethany. I enjoyed looking at them.

St. Pat's is fun. I say celebrate it as often as possible. SB, David once got a loose tooth turned backwards and then decided he wasn't going to pull it that night. We had a terrible time convincing him that you don't go around with one of your upper front teeth backwards. LOL!

Chager, I'm crossing my fingers for you. Hope the day goes well.

Sue, congratulations on becoming a DIS vet. I'm enjoying your frequent posts. Keep up the good work.

Hope the game goes well, Gail.

Good luck with the move, Alan.

Who'd I leave out? There are so many of us anymore that I have trouble remembering what I wanted to say. Anyway, an enthusiastic hello to the rest of you. ::yes::

I got Amy to her practice this morning and took my cruise album to my mom's house. She wanted to show it to her boyfriend. Now I'm home for an hour or so and going back to watch Amy's concert. She told me last night that besides the 7th grade honor band I'll see a band called Horizons (I think that's the name). It's adults who took band in high school or college and now have no outlet for their musical abilities. Sounds kind of like Laura's band? Anyway, I'm looking forward to it. I bought her some flowers. Bad Mom didn't get a chance to get any for the play, because I had Amy and Claudia with me all afternoon. I'm trying to make up for it today. :teeth:
