Evening all... grits? Good stuff but I can't have them for anything other than breakfast

Busy evening... got to spend a while on the phone with a dumb as rocks lady with the credit card company  Is it time for bed yet? :p

I think I'm having sympathy pains Melissa! My knee has become very sore as the day has gone on. I don't remember doing anything to it  ....and I have the same level of grace that you do!!!

MP - Welcome Back!!! Sorry to hear about your foot though. Did you see there is a Pitt - OSU matchup on Thursday!!!!!!!

Alan - I'll pass on the grits thank you.

Donna - apple crisp....yummy!

The lovely nurse at DS school forgot to give him his inhaler back today, so I had to drag the kids back to the school and have a very nice teacher call the nurse at home to find out where she put the medicine.
Gotta go pick him up from CCD now.

Yummmmy, grits and sausage cassarole and hot dogs and beans and brown bread. Talk about the difference between the noth and the south. Two great meals.

And the applecrisp, I thought about making that over the weekend, but all the baking dishes are packed.

MP sorry about the foot and ankle. I am looking forward to reading your trip report, though.

I hope the weather forecasters aren't lying. I am not happy about the cold, and they are promishing 50 by the end of the week. I really need a vacation. I don't know how living here is really going to work.

New home?

Oops, forgot to say, sorry aout teh foot Merry :( Sounds like something I'd do

Okay, day one of my trip report is up. I'll try to do another day later tonight. Here is the link if anyone wants to read it. http://disboards.com/showthread.php?s=&postid=5148412#post5148412

I didn't mention my knee, did I Gail? It's black and blue. It's from the same incident. I'm just not thinking much about the knee since my ankle is so bad. LOL!

Allen has gone to pick up Amy from ballet. David has an ACT review tonight, poor kid. They didn't get much sleep last night. I'm getting ready to hobble into the kitchen and fix soft tacos. I figure that can't be too hard on my ankle. Then I'll let them wait on me after I fix it. :teeth:

in NH they don't mix........in Alabama they might;)

(nothing against AL here...just talking about NASCAR fever)anything goes with beer after you've been drinking it all day...........

MP - somehow I think if you and I ever get together we'd have lots of fun....and we'd be very amusing to those watching us stumble around!

Just stay clear if you don't want to be injured!!!!

Hi!
Quick stop in before we pack up to move.
Welcome back MP great start on your trip report.
SB we keep one inhaler at school and one at home. But I guess Brendan's is just for a short time.

Grits Yukkkkk!

Have a good evening!

Gail, you should see me walk on a rocking ship, especially after a few Bahama Mamas or Conch Coolers. LOL!

Beer and ice cream? Ewww. That sounds awful. I'll have to take your word for it.

Sorry I will have to say I cna't see how beer and ice cream can go together either.

I'll just stick to my brownies and wine :teeth:

of course it does...you must've forgotten to remove the lime!

I don't believe beer goes with chocolate chip cookies either.

My fingers are still numb from sitting at the tennis game. It was 37º and windy. I was dressed for football. We went out for pizza after because I didn't want to cook.

So are we making the men do the heavy moving this time? I vote for somewhere warm and sunny.
