I promise to be careful. I have to be around to see my Jesse and the new baby in September!

My neighbors would never take any money. They always tell me to just call if I need anything. I just can't do it when I know I can do it a little at a time.

Angelrose, thank you for sharing your trip report and all the wonderful family photos . You have such a lovely family and lil Jesse is such a doll that I know brings you much love and joy ! Sounds and looks like a good time was had by all and I'm betting Ron was smiling from above. Our family did a grand gathering T'giving '08 and there is nothing as magical as seeing WDW through the eyes of your sweet grandchildren.

Looks like you got quite the blizzard too, pls. do take your time and be careful in all the white stuff! Last measured was about 24" and it's like a beautiful Winter Wonderland in So Md. We too are praising God we didn't lose power! Take care and stay warm!

I am being careful with the shoveling. I did a bit more this morning and got to the bird feeder and filled it up again. Tomorrow I will see if I can uncover the car and dig that out.

I finally got most of the snow off the car this afternoon. I still have a bit more on the hood. The snow pile in front of the car reaches up to the hood. That's from what I pushed off on top of what was already there from the storm. I REALLY don't want anymore snow tomorrow night and Wednesday. You know Ron used to shovel our whole driveway by himself? Yep I hated for him to do it and I kept watch on him. He would do half and come in and do the other half later in the day. He was so strong. The next day he wouldn't even be sore. Oh I miss him so much. On these snowy days we would just snuggle in front of the tv and watch a movie. It was kind of like an adventure. Now it's just a bother.

Everything is so hard without him by my side.

Oh Angelrose..chin up...you are doing so well! Ron is so very proud...but you know, sometimes it's so to be expected that you would feel overwhelmed. I would too...it must feel a heavy load without the addition of all that snow! I wish I were closer..since I am not, I can only send along hugs and prayers that God and Ron take care of you and watch over you every day. Baby steps..

I am still working on the Mickey Christine..my DD has been away but I will try again too!

Where's Chell? Is she off somewhere?

Thanks minnie56. I try and be upbeat but sometimes it just isn't possible. I just keep thinking that this isn't the way it's supposed to be. I know that's silly but that's how I feel. Sometimes I feel like a three year old having a temper tantrum. Some days are just harder than others. I'm sorry for being so down today.

Angelrose please don't ever apologize...absolutely allowed to feel mad, sad, angry, alone..all those feelings. Totally, absolutely expected and permitted.
You have many more good days than bad in my opinion and that's pretty amazing! Life can be crummy sometimes..it just is.


Curl up and watch a movie and stay inside..it's ok...you should do that. Give the snow another day to retreat a little...get a little slushy. I can't beleive how much you have!

I had a tooth pulled today and heck I am feeling sorry for ME! Now that's pretty pathetic...

Soon, Spring like days will be upon us and that will lift everyone's spirits!

Oh minnie56 I'm so sorry about your tooth. I know how bad that can be. Take some good pain meds and get some rest. Hope you feel better tomorrow.

We have another 8 to 14 inches coming Wednesday along with some rain and sleet. Who could ask for anything more??

I vote we have an early spring. Like next week?
