It is so much easier if you have never developed a taste for certain foods. Glad she got diagnosed with her allergy so easily. My egg allergy took from July - May for the doctors to figure out. They said it was nerves and panic attacks. I told them that my throat was closing and I felt like I couldn't breathe. I told them there was a definite order to how things happened. First of all my throat would feel tight then I would feel like my air was restricted. Finally I got in with all allergist. On a scale of 0 - 5 my egg allergy came back a 5+. I'm also allergic to fish, shellfish, melons, milk, mold, citrus, grapes, bananas and something else I'm leaving out. I know I'm forgetting something. Now I can't have gluten on top of all that.
The other day at work my friend emailed me to tell me there was a fruit basked in the kitchen at work. She knew I couldn't have any of the other goodies that had arrived. The only fruit in the basket that I could have was an apple.
Yeah, I agree that all the junk they put on and in our food has a lot to do with the allergies. They need to leave it alone and let it be. Stop messing with the genetic makeup of the food too!
We didn't get all of the extra snow last night. We had about 7 - 8 inches of snow total. That's pretty darn good for here. That's the most snow I've seen since '98. I was in the mountains then and we had 3 feet that year.
I hope your husband doesn't have to go off to any of the storm areas and I hope he is home for Christmas!!!
Yes, I know what you mean about feeling out of whack when your routine is off. It does throw you off. You will make it through all of this so much stronger. Your family will be stronger and so much closer too!
Someone was talking about a front in Florida that brought the temps down. I hope it isn't too cool for Angelrose and her family.
I'm excited to see what the weather is going to be like for our trip. This morning I even got up early for a Saturday because I started thinking about the trip & couldn't go back to sleep.
Hopefully you can still make your trip work out! We can help you plan it and make the most out of your money!!!

Those are some allergies I don't ever want. I LOVE my seasonings. You poor woman!
It just won't be the same without him. We're going to record it for him and save the family gifts until he comes home. Santa will be coming as usual, of course. I hate that he won't be here, and I'm missing him already but the extra $$ will really help DH improve his state of mind about money worries. We can pay off his 401K loan, save some and *fingers crossed* pay off at LEAST half of our WDW trip. So it looks like October WILL be a go. So it's bittersweet having hime gone. Hope everyone's doing well and that the snow has abaated enough for life to go back to normal for ya'll.
! Love the tea photo, so glad you had a nice vacation with your lovely family and sweet little DGS making special memories.
