Boo to you for not liking the Steelers! But, while we're on the topic, my dad just emailed me this pic of Oliver from Superbowl Sunday. I thought he looked cute in his little jersey, so I just want to share:

I don't really get the big deal with the knives. I suggested all kinds of different things to DF for him to get for his guys and he thought they were all dumb. He kept saying, "I want to get something they'll actually USE." But he still can't come up with anything they'll really use a pocket knife for. But whatever. He's happy, it's done. Maybe I just don't get it cause I'm a girl. Actually, I didn't even know what a leatherman tool was, but I just googled it. Definately looks like something DF would be into.

I will definately report back on Sunday with lots of pics from the shower!!

I can't believe the shower is practically here!! It's on Saturday, and I can't wait!! I've been obsessively checking my registry, and I am getting lots of great gifts!! The thing that I'm most excited for is the Bissol Spot bot Pet Spot Cleaner! We have very light carpeting in our house and 2 dogs... so that will be a very useful gift!!

I ordered Thank You cards for my shower from Vista Print! I copied them off someone on ebay (shh, don't tell them ). Since it's a Disney Princess themed bridal shower, I am sticking with the theme for the Thank You cards!

Ok, to be completely honest here... I actually don't even like football and the superbowl was the only game I watched. DF and my dad watched almost every game together at my parents house and I'd either play on the computer or go home and watch movies. And actually, my parents' 2 dogs have jerseys with their names on it, and it's so cute when they're all running around playing in their Steeler shirts! I never got one for Ellie though, she's an old and sick so I try not to torture her too much with clothes.

Thanks!! He's getting so fat! I had that jersey on him in August and it was so big on him, and I had a hard time getting it on him for the superbowl! My baby's growing up.

I just got the star registry gifts for the FG and RB last week! I thought I told you about it??

I just uploaded all my pics to the computer and my aunt brought me a cd of all the shower pics that she took and I uploaded them too! I will try to get around to posting them tomorrow, but I will be going to Nancy's fashion show and then I have tons and tons of stuff to try to find a place for!

I'm taking a break from writing Thank You notes...

My bridal shower was yesterday, and it was so much fun!! As you already know, if you've been following my PJ, my bridesmaids planned a Disney Princess shower!!

The hall looked beautiful!

Cake:

Me and my bridesmaids (except Matt's sister, she didn't come)

I had Matt unplug my cd player at home and I brought it with me so we could listen to the Disney Fairytale Wedding cd, and I purposely left the cd in the player so I wouldn't forget it. Well, Matt took it out and when I got there and my cd player was empty, I called Matt and made him bring it, so here he comes to save the day!

Yay! A shirt for the honeymoon!

This was a cute idea... my brother's fiance got me funfetti cake mix and icing to go with the bakeware set she bought me! Funfetti is my FAVORITE! I don't know if I've mentioned this before in my PJ or not, but we're having a funfetti wedding cake!

Princess Apron:

This was a really sweet gift from my mom's friend. She made me a princess quilt, and included a fabric writing pen so that all the guests at the shower were able to sign it.

As I was opening gifts, Allison was busy making the rehearsal bouquet

I was crying in this pic... a group of my friends got together and made a donation to the animal shelter that I volunteer at. That was the sweetest, most thoughtful gift ever.

And then they also got me my Bissil SpotBot Pet Cleaner!!! If you have 2 dogs and very light carpet in your house, you know how awesome this gift is!
