Happy Good Friday! I'm so glad I got the day off work because I got so much done!!!
Last night I went with my cousin/bridesmaid for her dress fitting. She is about 4 months pregnant, and was not pregnant or planning to be when she bought her bridesmaid dress, so of course it needed let out. I also picked up my dress for the rehearsal while I was there! Sorry, I don't have pics! Maybe I'll try it on for you ladies tomorrow.
Today I woke up and had an appt. to get my haircut. I told my hairstylist what I didn't like about my hair trial, and how I wanted it done differently, and she was cool with that! I always get nervous telling people I don't like how they did something, but it's my wedding day and I want my hair to look how I want it to!!
After my haircut, I went to the mall to get some stuff that I need for the wedding. I stopped at the beauty supply store (one of the perks of being a licensed hairstylist) to pick up some shampoo for me and DF. Back to Basics for me and American Crew for DF! I always get the liters, and then they last forever, but I also got smaller bottles to take to Disney so we're not lugging liters of shampoos and conditioners with us.
Then I went to Target to get some Easter gifts for my nephew, Andrew, and to find 3 tier cookie trays for our cookie table at the reception, and I found exactly what I was looking for!
What's a cookie table, you ask?

It's a Pittsburgh tradition. Here, you wouldn't even think of having a wedding without a cookie table! And they're fabulous!
Next I was off to Macys! Going straight to the MAC counter to buy some wedding makeup sing I'm going the DIY route. The lady did all my makeup, and I LOVED it. Perfect! Of course, I didn't think to take a picture, but I think I may have a makeup DIY "trial" tomorrow to see if I can use everything I bought.
Oh, and just an FYI: MAC is freakin expensive. See everything pictured above? $300!!!

But, I justify that in my head by thinking that people spend hundreds - thousands of dollars on a wedding dresses they will wear for 1 day... all this makeup I will use again! I know that doesn't justify it, but whatev's.
Next on my to-do list was to find albums for our parents. I can't believe Things Remembered never got the original one we wanted in... it's been like 2 months! GRR. But anyways, I found this really nice Lenox album for them...
It holds 5X7 and 4X6 photos. Of couse though, they only had one, so I had to go to a different mall to get another one!
We met with our DJ. Here's our FINAL song selections. We had a few last minutes changes:
Enterance: Renegade by Styx (DF's last minute request - It's the Pittsburgh Steelers defense intro)
Father/Daughter: Let Them Be Little by Lonestar... My dad's request was Old Macdonald Had a Farm because he thought that was something that wouldn't make him cry.

I feel bad, he says he's going to be so embarassed for crying so much!! Like, that's what dad's do at weddings! They cry!!
Cake Cutting: When You Wish Upon a Star by Billy Joel. I was shocked that DF was ok with it! But I think that was because I had just OK'ed renegade.
Bouquet Toss: Single Ladies by Beyonce
Anniversary Dance: Remember When by Alan Jackson
Everything else is the same as I posted before! Oh, and woo hoo! Our first vendor paid off!
Ok, so after meeting with our DJ, DF and I headed up to the other mall to pick up the other album. While we were there, DF bought a new shirt and tie for the rehearsal. I told him that he did not have to wear a tie, but he said he wanted to, and I'm kinda glad. He tried it on when we got home and I asked him if I could take a pic of him in it for disboards and he said NO!
We also bought new sunglasses for DISNEY!
I'm hoping to get alot of stuff done tomorrow too. I'm going to start printing out place cards, and I want to print out invitations for the rehearsal dinner... nothing fancy, just so everybody knows the whens and wheres! Also, I know I've been saying this for weeks, but I'm going to get out the suitcase and start packing! Yay!

Only 2 more weeks to go!
