Andy's bedroom in Pizza Planet?

Anyone ever heard of this or seen it?I was at the Rain Forest Cafe in the Burlington Mall this past weekend and I got to talking with a woman there(our sons had the same Buzz football jacket on!).She was telling me how she found Andy's bedroom by accident her last trip(dec.).Apparently,her liitle boy ran into the elevator so they followed and they went to the first floor.When they got off the elevator they were in a larger than life bedroom!I never knew this existed so I thought I would share it-of course you probably all know about it!haha

I have been to Pizza Planet, and never saw such an area. The only Andy's room that I know of is at All Star Movies. (Doesn't mean it isn't true, just means that it is news to me! )

She said the next time I go to look for it.Take the elevator to the 1st floor and you end up there.I've never heard of this either but she said this was the first time they ever saw it and they go there 4 times a year!They found it by accident.

Strange, because I went to Pizza Planet and never saw this? I believe it did have two stories, because I could had sworn we ate upstairs, but this was back in May 2000, so maybe I missed it somewhere. Someone definitely has to tell us on their upcoming visit.

We just ate here Jan.3, 2003. I don't recall seeing any bedroom. We also used the elevator after we ordered our pizza and went up to the 2nd floor to eat. My legs were to soar for stairs! All I remember is just an arcade. Maybe she was confused or something or maybe I just missed something?

We also went on the elevator & didn't see Andy's bedroom. The restaurant has 2 floors. The first floor is where you order and is an arcade. The second floor is additional seating.

We are spending the "holiday weekend" there starting tomorrow morning. We are going with another couple from out of state and are going by their schedule so I'm not sure if we will make it there but I will try to go by and try to find the bedroom.

I'm a little confured tho, you mentioned her saying that they took the elevator to the 1st floor - don't we start on the first floor ( where the food is )? Maybe there is a floor under the ground level floor and it is ther??

Are you sure she wasn't confusing it with Andy's Bedroom at the Toy Story section of AS Movies?

All I know is she said they went "down" in the elevator and found this.She said she goes 4 times a year and never knew this existed.I questioned her 2 times about Pizza Planet because I know Andy's room is at ASMo.She told me they stayed at BC this visit but they usually stay at GF.Unless she visited ASMo?She very clearly stated Pizza Planet in MGM was the spot.I have no idea!!I have never heard of this and I emailed Mike @ tourguidemike.com and he has never heard of this either.I would think if anyone would know about this secret place it would be him!!
AMClvsMKY,you need to go there!!!!PLEASE!!!!Wouln't it be great if there really was this "secret"place that we have never been to?

ok - here's the only thing I can think that it might be -way back in 1996 my hubby and I were on our honeymoon. At that time there was a photo spot to the right and across the walkway from looking at the arcade at Pizza Planet. It was up next to the back of the muppet's store.

Anyway, you climbed up in it and it looked as if you were on Andy's giant bed and people could take pictures of you.

Last time I was there, it had been replaced with a rocket ship like you were inside a Buzz Lightyear toy box. But it was still a photo spot.

Maybe they brought out the bed one again, or maybe it is placed somewhere else in the restaurant as a photo spot?

Just wondering.

BTW, I had no idea that you could go upstairs here and we eat there every time we go! WOW! Learn something new every day!

Well, I am just back and we able to make it to Pizza Planet. I looked around myself first then asked someone working in the arcade. She knew nothing about it, she called 2 different phone numbers and noone knew anything about it. The second # even put her on hold and asked around and still came up with nothing.
