Yes, I think you should charge it fully, remove it, and let it get down to a low percentage before charging again. Leaving it on the charger is probably part of the problem.

I have my chargers all plugged into a powerstrip. This powerstrip is connected to an electrical timer. At 5am, the power comes on for a few hours before powering off. This charges everything for me to begin the day. I plug everything back in at night. The cycle repeats.

Tink, I would not look into a 3rd party changing your battery until you've had Apple have a look at the phone. You saying it would be 14 months before you switched leads me to believe that you are on contract/still paying for the phone. If that's the case you should still have a couple months warranty on it. Even if you don't, once a third party does something to that phone Apple won't touch it with a ten foot pole.

Good point, I had ours replaced on iPhones purchased off eBay...so I'm not used to thinking about a financed phone!

Update I went to the apple store to find out why my phone is not holding a charge they told me my battery is no good so insurance is sending me another one I well have it set up Monday at the latest
