One little thing crossed off my list . . . our wedding day "getting ready" soundtrack! To my surprise - I guess it was mood I was in - I stayed away from the obvious "Chapel of Love" and "Today I Met the Boy I'm Gonna Marry" in favor of more "chick-centric" feel-good party songs. It's kind of like a "last hoo-rah" with my bessties . . . and probably the only time we'll have with just the gals. Also, there won't be dancing at the reception, so this will be our time to play fun music!

Our marriage license arrived today by mail from Brevard County!

BTW, anyone considering mail order . . . DO IT! It's super-easy. No trips to the courthouse. No crazy transportation issues. And the process went FAST. We got our license in hand (today!), about 3 weeks from the time we sent them the first set of paperwork. Woo hoo!!!!

To make sparkle shirts you'll need the following items:

- Shirts - I have been buying ours from Hanes.com
- Mylar Transfer Paper - from www.mpressworkshop.com
- Rhinestones - from www.mpressworkshop.com
- Tweezers with long pointed tips - I bought a kit from Michaels that had a good set of tweezers for handling rhinestones

If you order your transfer paper and rhinestones from MPress Workshop, they will send you a really good set of instructions on how to make your shirts. They have the best instructions on how long to iron on the design, etc.

You'll probably want to start off by creating your design on a computer. Then you can print the design and tape it to the non-sticky side of the transfer paper. If your design includes any kind of words or text, you'll need to use a program that allows you to mirror-flip the image before you print it. I used Photoshop for ours. I tried to keep the designs within about a 6 x 9 inch space to fit nicely on the shirts.

If you follow the instructions, the shirts are not difficult to make . . . they just take quite a bit of time. Get started early if you can!

I have been ordering the "Women's Fitted Tee" from Hanes.com. They have a pretty shape to them and, yes they do have a little "stretch". All the ladies that have seen them have been excited about it. I think that once in a while they do a Buy One Get One 50% Off special.

Thank you! I can't imagine how we can BE anymore excited! We spent all day at Brian's studio yesterday working on a special project that I'm planning to post next weekend at the latest. We're going back today to finish that project and, hopefully, our wedding programs. Then for the next few weeks It'll be shopping, packing, tanning, hair appointments and workouts . . . DISNEY OR BUST!!!
