Andreah and Brian - Dec 8th, 2009 (Reception Photos Posted)

lots of updates! It's so close now!

Love the napkins and cake bags!! What a great idea.....i'm sure everyone will be stuffed after all the food and won't want to miss the cake!!

and YAY for 4 rainbows on your wedding day!;)

I'm sorry Brian's parents won't be able to make it to the wedding....that must be very hard. I'm sure they will love the video. I do have to agree, i think the rose on the chair during the ceremony would be kind of "creepy" since they are still alive. I just see that as more long the lines of a Memorial Rose no matter how it is supposed to be taken.

and what a beautiful card from Mickey and Minnie! I have to get that finished! I still don't have the time confirmed from DCL but i guess it's ok if they don't know what time the ceremony is, it's not like they are coming! :rotfl:

That's good to hear about Rev Knox. Might send in my ceremony to him soon.

First off, that is awesome about the bolero jacket. The exact match is ideal! Secondly I love the napkins from invitation consultants. I'd like to order some but I don't really know for what.

Sorry about Brian's parents, but I definitely agree about putting them on the chair for them is creepy/inappropriate.

I actually finished the bridal party "sparkle shirts" last weekend, but I'm just now getting around to having my sweetie take photos of them. Here's how they turned out:

I did these a few weeks ago, but we're just now getting a chance to take photos. The favors are Mickey Mouse stud earrings, lip balm and soap leaves in cute little gift bags:

Okay, so I've finally got around to wrapping the bridesmaids' gifts, which are the earrings and necklaces in this photo:

:crazy2: Bleh, I love your stuff so much it makes me sick!! :rotfl:

I may have missed something, but what is the Journey into intoxication, and why are you doing bingo cards?? This really intrigues me, so I'd like to know more!

Wow everything looks fantastic! Great job! You know, you have me considering the sparkle shirts now...

Awww . . . thank you! The "Journey into Intoxication" is where you go around the World Showcase and have drinks in all (or some of) the countries. I had the idea of doing bingo cards where pictures of different drinks that were available in Epcot were randomly placed in the spaces on the card (so like a margarita for Mexico, a Bellini for Italy, etc.) I don't really want to encourage people to be COMPLETELY inebriated before the pre-wedding dinner, but I thought people might have fun trying to get five spaces in a row. (The middle will be "free", of course). This way, people could have a just a couple of drinks and, depending on their strategy and the position of the items on their bingo cards, could have a change of "winning". I seriously doubt anyone will actually GET a "bingo", but I imagine it should make things a little more fun, nonetheless. I also considered doing a version for beer enthusiasts that just had logos of the brands of beer throughout the World Showcase.

Thank you! The sparkle shirts were fun, but they definitely take a LOT of time and patience. I recommend that you give yourself PLENTY of time to do them. You have to be in a very particular mood to work on them. Sometimes I felt like working a little at a time, and there were times I got into a groove and got a lot of work done. I find working with the rhinestone tweezers was a lot like using chopsticks - very awkward at first, but you "get the hang of it" after a while.

Let me know if you decide to go for it. I have some great suppliers and some good tips and tricks I learned along the way.

I MAY (if time permits) do a couple more sparkle shirts for myself to wear during the honeymoon. Some ideas for other shirts include:

  • Trophy Wife (A nod to a funny but short-lived TV show we loved - Kath & Kim)
  • Brian & Andreah - a Perfect Fit (with a glass slipper pic)
  • Mrs. Churchill 2.0 (since I'm a total nerd and we've both been married before.)

I suppose you guys have figured out by now that I have an ODD since of humor . . . :upsidedow

I'm getting married in

50 DAYS!!!!!

Wow! Seems like just YESTERDAY we had 100 days to go :confused3

HOW did you make such lovely menu cards? I want mine to be like that! I love them!!!!!

Also, where did you get the diamontes for the shirts? Did you do them by yourself!?

I agree, i love all your stuff to so much that it makes me sick hehe! its TOOOOOOOO GOOOD!!

Im sorry Brians parents are not coming, its a shame. Maybe you could do a little card to hold up in a photo that says 'thinking of you / or wish you was here' sorta thing? I agree with not putting a flower on their chairs- but you could put them on your table? Its so nice that they can watch the video too!

50 days ..... ooooh jeeeze... time will fly by....

the menu cards are adorable Andreah! Soooo cute! And the shirts are great, you did a wonderful job on them!

Thanks! I'll definitely let you know. I'm worried about the time investment...but then yours turned out so awesome. I love your ideas for the HM shirts, those would be great! Hmmm, maybe if I can figure out a specific event I can make them wear these shirts to...

Yes, I did them by myself. Tedious work, but fun! I ordered the shirts from hanes.com, and got the crystals and transfer paper from

www.mpressworkshop.com

Great prices on sparkle shirt supplies!
