Andreah and Brian - Dec 8th, 2009 (Reception Photos Posted)

Andreah, you are absolutely ridiculous! You are the queen of DIY, I bow down to you! I totally love the box, and how exciting, only 1 month to go!!! I definitely may be stealing some of those ideas.... And I didn't realize you can add multiple photo pass cards when you pre-order the cd. That's a good thing to remember!

OMG- That is amazing!!!! I always love coming by your PJ to see your projects, and this one has truly blown me away! Your guests are going to love it! :goodvibes

Andreah those are so neat! I want to be a guest at your wedding so i can get one! They are awesome, great job again!!!!:goodvibes

I just looked through the pictures of your welcome boxes, and I have to say that those are the coolest things I have ever seen. The passport idea is amazing. You must be a very patient woman. God knows I could never do something that in-depth with paper. =)

Andreah,

Those are absolutely amazing. You are one of the most talented brides I have seen! You are also very thoughtful to take care of your guests like that! I can't wait to see your wedding pictures. Everything will be amazing! :goodvibes

:worship: :worship: :worship:

YOU are AMAAAZING! Wow I never would have thought of all those details! I only wish I was one of your guests! :thumbsup2

If you do go into wedding planning, I've got dibs on being your first client!! :lmao:

My mouth dropped when i saw the boxes and passports! Those are AMAZING! Your guests are lucly to have you!

How did you make those inserts?! i'm VERY inspired now to make these for our guests!

Just wanted to chime in on how absolutely awesome your passports/pre-arrival items turned out! WOW! As already said, you are extremely talented and creative. I guarantee your guests are looking forward to your wedding as much as you are (or close to as much as you are ;)).

I am sure everything will be wonderful for you. Congrats and if I see you (we'll be in WDW the 4th-9th for our 1st anniversary) I will say hi. Just a warning so you're not like "who's this weirdo!:rotfl:"

We're in the process of assembling about 12 of the boxes tonight, but I wanted to pop in and say thank you SO MUCH for all of the comments and complements! I had no idea so many people would chime in!

I also wanted to respond to a few of your questions!

Can I come to your wedding? Can I have a box?
You guys have no idea how much I would LOVE to invite all of you. You've all been so sweet and supportive :flower3: If I hit the lotto, then you're ALL invited to our 50th anniversary vow renewal :)

26apr000: hmm....looks like you'll be walking into MK for MVCMP as we walk out on Sunday. Be sure to wave!
You bet! It would be a SHAME if we didn't run into each other SOMEWHERE

Polybride: Do you want to make those this time next year for all my guests?
I'll let you know in about 6 months . . . :rotfl:

You should totally go into wedding planning
If I could be a wedding planner and make a decent living, and not give up all my weekends, and not ever get frustrated by a bridezilla that isn't happy no matter what you do, and have a guarantee to never be sued for copyright infringement, then I would TOTALLY do it :thumbsup2

How did you make those inserts?!
The inserts are actually run-of-the-mill index cards - size 4 x 6. I created each card in PhotoShop. However, I'm sure you could just as easily use Publisher or Microsoft Word to create your designs. And, as luck would have it, 4 x 6 is a standard photo size and alot of the printers have pre-sets to print on 4 x 6 paper. But if yours doesn't, then I'm sure you could create a custom page size.

Thanks again, guys! I really appreciate the feedback and I'm glad you like the boxes. It's been a fun project! I still have just a couple more things up my "wedding imagineer" sleeve to show you before we leave :wizard:

Ooooh, yay! I hope I have a chance to say "Hi!" to you while we're there!!!

You are my wedding hero! Those boxes are AMAZING!

I love the passports. Hopefully in two years that stuff you used to create them will still be out there! Honestly, you can tell how much work you put into everything and I hope your guests appreciate all of your hard work! They look phenomenal! Thank you so much for sharing! :)

I'm not sure if I've posted before in this thread, but I've been following for a while! I love your graphic from the first page. I actually checked out that site, and found an image that looked like us too! Do you need to be tech-savvy to edit those? I found a bride on one that matched me and a groom on another that matched him! I hate to steal your idea though, so I probably won't get them. They are adorable though!

Hi kmg! Thanks for posting!

Regarding the cartoon artwork, it's not difficult to edit them per se. However, you have to have a particular type of software to edit them that is capable of modifying vector art (such as Adobe Illustrator) and you have to be familiar with working with artwork in layers.

If you or someone you know can edit these for you, you should totally get them! I don't mind sharing my ideas . . . I've been "inspired" by other brides on here. A lot. :rotfl: All I'd ask is that your final art looks different "enough" so that folks on the boards here don't get confused. So, maybe use a different background or something?

Maybe starting next March (after my wedding, the holidays, and the big annual conference I plan for my work), I'll could be available to help new brides with some artwork and monograms and stuff . . . just an idea!

holy moly! i thought we did a lot for our guests, but you blow me away. Those boxes are absolutely amazing!

Our programs are finished!
