Thank you! Those are some of my favs!

BEAUTIFUL pictures Andrea!!!! They are simply fantastic!!!

Thanks!

So yesterday I was a bridesmaid in a friends wedding. It was so much fun. We had the same colors, and yup--she had PURPLE roses! I was so terribly jealous! So here's a question...my MK bridal shoot isn't for another month. Do you think it would be okay if I emailed my floral planner a picture of those bouquets with the purple roses and asked if I could switch my bouquet and to that? Kinda as proof that there are purple roses?

So today I packed up the bins to drop off at Franck's on Tuesday. I also wrapped my bridesmaids gift, my flower girls gifts and my dad's gift. I am still waiting on my moms. I hope it gets here in time!

I also decided to do welcome bags (way to wait til the last minute!) It might not sound like a good reason, but I wasn't going to do them since it was mostly my immediate family staying on property, and I know they wouldn't care if I did them or not. But there are two of DFs groomsmen staying on property so I decided I would feel bad the whole time if I didnt'.

I think I am going to include the times guide, a door hanger, bottled waters, a snack (like chips/granola bar), maybe some travel advil/tylenol, and then a couple of little things for the families with kids. Does that sound like enough?

And here's the times guide I made. Thank you soooo much to Wendy for sending me the template!!!!

So first of all I'm reading through pj and it all sounds amazing, your pictures are beautiful. We are doing very similar invitations from Shelley but the paper is going to be a blue to match my colors! All your ideas are amazing. We are going to our planning session next week so excited!

Do you still have that template for the times, I love that idea and would love to use it!

It's possible that they might not have been roses...your experience made me nervous so I've been looking into dark purple flowers. There is dark purple lisianthus and ranunculus. They're both rose like, but come in that dark color that I think you want. Could you maybe use your friend's florist for your MK shoot? Since its personal floral?

Yay! Did she show you a copy of invitations? Just wondering if they're now going to be an option (since I made them up from scratch!) That would be so cool if they were!! And sure for the template...I got it from another Disbride but she didn't mind if I shared so just PM me your email address!

I LOVE that Times Guide idea!

Thanks!

Could I be signed up to get the times guide template too? It looks great.

Sure, just PM me your email address

They were definitely purple roses. She was my bridesmaid so after it happened she called right away and double checked. Here are some pictures. I went ahead an email my floral planner. I'll let you know what she says. And I already paid for the floral for the shoot with my wedding BEO so I wouldn't have to worry about it later.

So I got an email back saying that I can definitely change it to those purple roses, so that's good. Just wish that's what it had been for my wedding. Oh well.

Andrea your pictures came out beautiful and you looked stunning on your day. It looked like your wedding was so fun!!

I love the jewelry that your bridesmaids are wearing. Where did you find it?

I can't wait to hear about your honeymoon and see the MK photo shoot!!!!

Thank you! I got the necklaces from Bealls and the earrings from etsy. I need to get my butt in gear and post about the honeymoon!

The times guide and important information is a super clever idea.

Thank you, but I can't take the credit. I got it from the generous Disbride princesswendy!

Ok, so am finally sitting down to write about our Honeymoon.

I am a cruise-aholic. This was my 13th cruise. I've been on The Big Red Boat (doesn't exist anymore), Royal Caribbean, Disney, and many Carnival. And Carnival is my favorite. Yes, its not as luxurious as RC or Disney, but I like the atmosphere better and there's a casino (I got bored at night on the Disney cruise). We seriously looked at the newest ships on both Carnival and RC. For the same price as an outter room (with no balcony) on RC, we got a suite with a balcony on Carnival. Plus on RC, I had been to every port and and Carnival I had only been to 1 out of 4. So it was decided.

On all of my cruises, I've either stayed in mostly inner rooms, and a couple of outter rooms, but never a balcony. So when we walked in to this one, it was HEAVEN! I absolutely loved the balcony (I spent time out there reading every day), there was a separate dressing area and the bathroom was large!

The first day we mostly walked around, getting a sense of where everything was. We bought all of our excursions, using our honeymoon registry (which I LOVED! We did an excursion in every port, had a couples massage, drank a bunch, played Bingo a couple of times, ate in the extra restuarant that you pay for and still only paid $100!) We stopped by our dining room and asked to change tables to sit by ourselves since we were on our honeymoon, but the maitre d told us that the other couple we were assigned to sit with already asked to be moved since they were on there honeymoon too. We all sat together that first night, but then we had the table to ourselves.

I made a point to take a picture of us dressed up for dinner everynight. I know on the casual nights, some people dress REALLY casual (like shorts casual) but I wanted us to always look dressy. Here's us the first night.

I also tried to take a towel animal picture every night, but our room steward had our dinner times messed up and came early this night, while we were still there, so we told her not to worry about it that night. Every night after dinner, we watched the main show, went to the casino and then the adult comedy show after that. Fun times!

How exciting Andrea! I've never been on a cruise, so I'll live vicariously through you! :rolleyes1

So the next day we just slept in and relaxed. We went up and layed out by the pool for a bit. After lunch it rained some, so we went back to the room and took a nap. We woke up and went to play some trivia and then came back and read on the balcony (I loved this!) It was just such a nice relaxing day. That night was our first fancy dinner night. I wore my rehearsal dinner dress. The couple from our table wasn't there. But the couple at the table next to us was around our age so we chatted with them. And at the other table beside us, we noticed it was single mom with 2 kids--a boy and a girl. We ended up LOVING those kids! I'll have more on them later.

Here's one of the professional pictures we bought (and yes, I wore my Cinderella's carriage earrings and necklace again!)

Here's our towel animal for that night..not really sure what he is, maybe a dog? But he sure looked cool!

Beautiful honeymoon pictures! I love to dress up, too. When we do our DCL cruise in Dec, we will do the same as you two! I think you chose gorgeous outfits and jewelry!
