Andi & Ani's Disney Adventure: A College Program PTR

This is my first ever PTR...or TR for that matter, and I may be jumping the gun as I don't leave for my Fall 2011 college program until August but excitement has grabbed me and I want to document it all, from today till I get there till it's time for me to return home. So bear with me Disboards, I promise to keep you entertained.

These are the facts:

-One of my Best friends we'll call her Ani, and I (I'm Andi) decided we would apply together for the Fall 2011 College Program

-I applied on January 19th for the Fall 2011 Disney College Program and took and passed the web-based interview Ani did too.

-I completed the phone interview on January 20th at 8pm, my interviewer was a guy named Brandon, he was great and I felt as if the interview had gone pretty well, I was a little nervous though I was pretty sure I'd get accepted, but was also prepared to not be too down if I didn't (depression isn't my style lol)

- Last night February 1st 2011 I checked my mail and there it was! An acceptance invitation. Now we're just waiting for Ani to receive hers

THE TWO DASHING HEROES OF THIS ADVENTURE:

I'm on the left and Ani is on the right, this is at the World of Disney Store that used to be on 5th Avenue (we're New York City girls) Though I am a Disney World Veteran this store is the closest Ani has ever been to Walt Disney World!
Hopefully she will be accepted and we can change that.

This is most definitely not my first trip to Disney World, my uncle works for ABC and so I've been lucky in that I've basically had numerous and cheap trips to Disney World growing up, but in addition to this when I graduated high school I spent my first semester afterward doing the Walt Disney World CareerStart Program, I didn't document nearly enough that time and hope to remedy that with this PTR.

This was me my during CareerStart, I was a QSFB Castmember this time however I'll be doing Attractions!

Next Time: Purple Folder Where Art Thou? The wait for Ani's Acceptance.

*I think I will try to update this PTR at least once a week, I will keep it mostly Disney and CP related but will occasionally throw in anything random or exciting that happens here at home.*

Well jeez, still so early in the process and problems already! I received my acceptance into the program via email but the website won't let me log in! I e-mailed Disney tech support and they said I need to wait till I receive my hard copy acceptance letter, via snail-mail before I can accept, because my password might not be the same as the one in the e-mail.

Normally I wouldn't mind this but according to the e-mail my two week countdown to accept began YESTERDAY when I got the e-mail. That letter has 1 week my time to get here before I call the program and get things straightened out. Sans that tech-support and I will soon be on a first name basis.

Okay super short update, because honestly, I promise you I rarely ever update things this frequently, so all this posting is bound to change at some point but I tried logging in today and it worked! Sorry I ever doubted you tech support, I love you
But I haven't formally accepted yet, I'm going to wait a week-a week and a half to accept.

1.) To see if Ani gets her letter
2.) To round up the 304.50 we now have to pay for the program


Ahh Disney, you drain my pocket book and still I love you so.
