And This is Why They Added DOORS to the TRAM! - Nov. 12 TR*END THOUGHTS 11/17 Pg. 27*

Omg, that poor lady! And your poor leg. How odd.

It's nice when people other than me are obsessed with the Little Mermaid ride, hahah.

Sounds like a great day all the way!

I seem to remember hearing the story about that lady!!

Yay for late night rides!! I love it when everyone's like 'Byeeeeeee" and then you get on all the rides with no wait!!

Disney drunk is the best, especially when you're Disney drunk, and then food drunk, and then maybe a little actually drunk and it's just INSANE!

We had gotten our fill our Photopass pictures, and started to head over to Fantasyland to use our fastpasses at Peter Pan.

90 minute wait posted? No problem with fastpasses!!!

Now,this is going to look weird, but go with it. Because it's amazing.

My hair.....glows in blacklight!

Yup. That's my hair in that picture. Can't make anything else out.

Peter Pan taught me this valuable lesson on this day. And it continues to amuse me.

Bye bye Neverland!

Our dinner reservation was approaching, but we could make one more stop before heading over. Where would that be?

The most philharmagical place of all!

It's not time to put on your opry glasses yet!

Now it is!

I still absolutely love this attraction. One of my must do's every time. Jeni loved it, and couldn't stop laughing after the cork flies in your face. It scared the bejeezus out of her. It was pretty hysterical.

I had a girl next to me, late teens, early twenties perhaps. Man. Was she jumpy. Every time anything came up on the screen, she literally almost jumped out of her screen. However, it did make my viewing experience exponentially more enjoyable, because I could laugh at someone else's expense.

You guys do it too, don't lie!

Who could resist some duck butt on the way out? Not me.

We were just rounding the corner for the castle lighting ceremony on our way to our reservation.

Our destination?

Liberty Tree Tavern.

And this is the only food picture I have. Because apparently, we are a bunch of ravenous wolves, and we devoured the food before any thought came into my head.

I have to comment on the fact that Liberty Tree really needs to reconsider the size of their two top tables. Pretty much, if you're going to give people enough food to feed a small elephant, you need to have a table large enough to fit it on. Ours was not. I'm very surprised we did not have any major disasters during dinner.

Jeni and I commented that it was a good thing the Magic Kingdom was clearing out, because they were going to have to make room for our recently enlarged rear ends.

Everything at Liberty Tree Tavern is made much much yummier by adding gravy. I would dump gravy on absolutely everything.

Just not the dessert. That would be weird.

Oh. And the dessert!

So good. We weren't too full to eat this that's for sure!

After dinner, we took some more time to get shots of the castle. My absolute favorite time of year to see it.

And a fuzzy selfie.

We also headed over to Fantasyland to secure some fastpasses for The Undersea Adventure. Jeni and I were in love with it at this point, so of course we're going to try to get in multiple rides!

On our way back to Tomorrowland.

Jeni says "oooohhhh, that would be a great idea if they put the Cheshire Cat smile in that! BAM! They should pay me for that!" Hear that Disney! Pay us for our ideas.

This was our Tomorrowland destination.

I really want my Dad to be that guy someday. I thought for sure he might be in July, but my plan didn't work. :(

We found another photopass photographer on the way.

And decided it was time for us to take a ride on the Peoplemover.

I'm so puurrrrttttyyyy. Hahaha!

Jeni totally loved the Peoplemover and said she could just spend time riding around on it. I agree completely! Her conversion is almost complete.

There was a group of guys on the ride that were screaming and yelling the entire time. Like non-stop. So for our ride, this has now become "this is not a party train!"

Up next: The balloon that attacks me during Wishes!

I'm loving your TR, but the last few posts have most if not all the pictures missing.

An absolutely perfect end to your day. So great to wander through Disney laughing and giggling. Doesn't matter what others think... :lmao:

Isn't it absolutely the best to just walk through Disney on a high? I love it!

Hi Danielle!! I'm only 12 chapters and how many pages behind but I'm jumping in here because you are so delightful and I love your TR! Disney drunk - it's for real! :)

I have smarty pants Dis friends that call out 'we wants the red'ed' when they are looking for me at the park. (yes, I've got red hair.) Too funny! Your comment reminded me of that! ;)

Glad you're here Brenda! Thanks so much!

Hahaha! Gotta love that people do that. I would want people to shout that at me all the time if I had red hair. :rotfl:

"Welcome to Musictown."

OMG! How random! I am super clumsy and I can imagine that happening to me, but I would be mortified if I landed on someone! How terrible!

Leaving after Wishes can be so crazy. Great idea to stay and get Disney drunk :thumbsup2

Wasn't it completely random?! I felt so bad for the lady, but at the same time, it was one of those things that if you were there. It would have been the funniest thing ever.

OH MY GOD :rotfl2: that visual of the face plant. I feel so sorry for her and for you too, but OH MY GOD :rotfl2:

Ha, for a second I thought your destination was the Tiki Room.

If that was the real Johnny Depp, do you realize how much tickets would cost then? Of course I'm sure there's a lot of folks who would still pay, but still...

Oh how I love that PP photo. That castle is always beautiful, but with the dream lights... :cloud9:

Hahaha! I know. I feel bad that we laughed about it, but at the same time. It was so strange and ridiculous.

Well, if it was the real Johnny Depp, I wouldn't go paying tons of money. Just a pipe dream really. :rotfl:

Ugh, the dream lights are incredible. That is my absolute favorite time to see the castle.

Omg, that poor lady! And your poor leg. How odd.

I know! I'm not kidding either, she fell hard. Like, I almost fell over.

I am obsessed with that ride. I could ride it over and over again.

Hahahah! I remember telling you about that story when we met! Cause it was so ridiculous. :lmao:

I love it too. Everyone had left, so we were like "okay!"

I like being all kinds of drunk in Disney. I'll take all of it. :rotfl2:

I'm loving your TR, but the last few posts have most if not all the pictures missing.

Awwwwwwww. I'm sorry they're not there! I can see them okay right now. I was hoping that it wasn't the bandwidth thing. I've been putting off upgrading to Pro on Photobucket. I may just be switching to Flickr soon. I'm too cheap. :rolleyes1

The face plant had me busting out laughing! Your narration and inserts made that story hilarious! Although I feel for you and her! I have been the one falling myself in the past... I love being Disney drunk...or as our family says "Disney wasted"! (We get the whatever wasted from "Grown-Ups")

Glad I could give you a chuckle on this fine day! It was pretty funny, and honestly that was the best way I could describe the situation.

Believe me, I've fallen many a times too. I felt for her. I really did.

Disney wasted! WOO HOO.

Ouch for both you and the poor lady who face planted. (Nice SYTYCD gif tho!) On of the moms at my DD's dance studio got her foot caught in the tracks on Main St and ended up in boot for their trip. Bless her heart. She had turned to tell her kids some yahoo his jacket spread out on the curb and to be careful stepping over it. Then she gets her shoe caught in the track and bam!

I wish they would put an animatronic of Collin O' Donoghue in Pirates. He plays Cap't Hook on Once Upon a Time. Hubba hubba! I know Hook is Peter Pan, but the OUAT Hook doesn't quite fit the Hook of animated Peter Pan.

I had another comment in mind, but have forgotten it now that I mentioned Collin.

There is nothing like a Disney high to make you smile from ear to ear!

3 rides on LM! Woo Hoo! :cool1:

Nice shots of the difference rides!

OMG to the face plant lady. I did a face plant last year running and it hurt like ...you KNOW what! Poor thing. Sorry about your leg, but you're right - she had to be in worse shape.

And YES YES YES - our May trips overlap. I am arriving on the 12th and won't be leaving before the 18th at the earliest! :cool1::cool1::cool1: Totally psyched we will get to meet up. Perhaps for a drunk little cucumber? :rotfl2:

I love SYTYCD! One of my favorite summer shows.

That stinks about your friend! That would totally be something that would happen to me.

Ohhhhhh, I love Hook from OUAT! He's so absolutely adorable.

I know, I don't think there is anything better than a Disney high.

I have face planted many times myself. It's never pleasant.

I'm so excited!!! I think we're flying in late on the 16th, so the 17th will be our first full day. Definitely a time to have a drunk little cucumber!

Oh man! How embarrassing and painful for you both. Ouch!
YAY for no wait for Pirates! I love that ride.
10 minutes for LM? Yes please!
Disney drunk is my favourite (*cough*only*cough*) kind!

I can ride Pirates all day long. I absolutely love it.

Hahahaha. Disney drunk is one of the best kind.

Great updates and pics.

Funny about the drooling and the face plant though I am sure you feel differently.

Good for you saying something to the teenagers.

Okay, now I am on board with this TR too! Prepare for a super long comment:

First of all, I saw Empire Records years ago and I LOVED it. I rented it from Blockbuster, but now most of the Blockbusters around me have closed :( but the second I saw "I went to rock n roll heaven, and I wasn't on the guest list," I was hooked.

As an English major, I sigh deeply at people who don't think people can read for fun.

Your room is so pretty!

DUI...I have no words. You're in Disney World! Reserve your judgment for iPad photographers, old man!

I've never heard Crush say the "what's up bra" joke before, but that's amazing! :lmao:

VIA NAPOLI. WE GOT THE EXACT SAME MEAL. Same appetizer, same pizza. It was so good!

I can already tell I'm going to have to consult with you for my July trip, AKA my first trip where I can legally drink around the World.

I did feel like I was in a Dumbo. I wish I was. Dumbo > dorm room.

I'm so glad we saved Via Napoli for our last full day, because other Disney pizza just does not compare. I love Disney pizza. But Via over everything.

It looks like you got significantly less Nutella on your Nutella Fruit Waffle than I did, so I'm thinking it was just a fluke! You should def try it again, and hint that you want more Nutella!

I want the Naveen as frog magic shot!! So cool! :lovestruc

Not gonna lie, I am so jumpy at the Philharmagic part where the corks fly out in Be Our Guest. I flinch every single time.

UGH at the boys who did not appreciate Wishes. Wishes is everything! I appreciate your sass toward them.

YAY for being caught up! Great TR so far!!!

Thanks! I definitely felt like I had to say something to the teenagers, because they were just acting a fool.

That's okay my dear, comment away!

First of all, I saw Empire Records years ago and I LOVED it. I rented it from Blockbuster, but now most of the Blockbusters around me have closed :( but the second I saw "I went to rock n roll heaven, and I wasn't on the guest list," I was hooked.

It is one of my favorite movies of all time. I think I was 14 when it came out, and we used to watch it over and over again. Just hilarious. I do own it so I can watch it whenever I want.

As an English major, I sigh deeply at people who don't think people can read for fun.

Seriously, I know! I don't get it. It's such a lost love, reading. I've always been a huge reader. I have way too many books, but I really don't care.

Your room is so pretty!

DUI...I have no words. You're in Disney World! Reserve your judgment for iPad photographers, old man!

iPad photographers! I can't handle them. LOL.

I've never heard Crush say the "what's up bra" joke before, but that's amazing! :lmao:

Via Napoli was so good. We agreed that it was the best meal on our trip.

I can already tell I'm going to have to consult with you for my July trip, AKA my first trip where I can legally drink around the World.

First time legally being able to drink around the world?! Giiiiirrrrrrlllllllll......we're gonna have to talk. :lmao:

I did feel like I was in a Dumbo. I wish I was. Dumbo > dorm room.

I'm so glad we saved Via Napoli for our last full day, because other Disney pizza just does not compare. I love Disney pizza. But Via over everything.

Being on Dumbo I think is better than being most other places at home.

It looks like you got significantly less Nutella on your Nutella Fruit Waffle than I did, so I'm thinking it was just a fluke! You should def try it again, and hint that you want more Nutella!

I want the Naveen as frog magic shot!! So cool! :lovestruc

So maybe I was gipped. That makes me feel a little bit better.

Whenever I go and have time, I ask every PP photographer if they have any magic shots. I'm always hoping for something I've never had before.

Not gonna lie, I am so jumpy at the Philharmagic part where the corks fly out in Be Our Guest. I flinch every single time.

UGH at the boys who did not appreciate Wishes. Wishes is everything! I appreciate your sass toward them.

No judgment here. It's meant to make you flinch, so it's doing it's job.

I am generally a sassy person. I don't take anything from anybody. :rotfl:

"Why Don't You All Just Fade Away?"
Rex Manning - Empire Records

Well, that's what I wanted to tell all of the people that were in WDW at that moment. Why? Because we were going to Hollywood Studios. And we all know that when I go to Hollywood Studios, TSM is a must. And well.....it always helps to have people fade away so they don't get in your way while you try to get on the ride.

We really wanted to be able to go to AM EMH at the park. So I got up at about 6:15am and hopped in the shower. Jeni got up right after me and we were ready to go in no time.

We didn't make it to the park by 8am, we headed out the room by 8:10am. Which was okay with me, because the beauty of being at the Boardwalk? Walking distance baby!

Duckies on the walking path!

We made it to the park by 8:25am and headed in. With a mild rush of people....

That bull in the front would be ME! Get out of the way people!!!!!!

We gotta double whammy it folks. Grab a fastpass and then hop in line. Bam!

Oh hello barrel of monkeys!

We got a FP return time of 12:40pm to 1:40pm. Standby time was 30 minutes. No biggie!

How do we play TSM?

Like a Boss!

My score was on the left, and definitely NOT my best performance. Jeni and I made a pact. We were going to concentrate very hard on our arm workouts. Gotta get the shooting arm in shape peeps!

We had to actually go back to the hotel briefly after that. Jeni had gotten a series of calls that she missed from Gavin's (my nephew, Jeni's first son) Grandparents, and they needed health insurance information. Apparently, his eye had been red and they thought he had pink eye.

Let's just say it was a hot mess, and they are not the brightest people in the bunch. It was frustrating for her to get it all figured out.

But, we all hung in there, because we wanted to get it figured out with Gavin. Poor thing ended up having pink eye. That completely sucks! And he could have been treated sooner if they didn't consider themselves diagnosticians and said he was fine.

*sigh* People.

Up next: Lunch lunch lunch!

You made it to HS in great time so I'm surprised your return time was so late. But I guess it all worked out well since you had to go back to the room anyway. Poor Gavin!

I love the ducks that hand out en route to HS. You really hit the jackpot.

Great score on TSM. I am so far off from that. I'm the one who needs the arm exercise!

I attribute that mostly to the fact that it was Thanksgiving weekend. If it was another time of year, it probably would have been much better.

I know, the poor thing. And he's the kind of kid you can sell anything too, so he was convinced by his grandpa that he didn't have pink eye.

Arm exercise! I need to do more, that reminds me. Gotta kick it up a notch over the winter so I'm prepared for May!
