And This is Why They Added DOORS to the TRAM! - Nov. 12 TR*END THOUGHTS 11/17 Pg. 27*

We had gotten our fill our Photopass pictures, and started to head over to Fantasyland to use our fastpasses at Peter Pan.

90 minute wait posted? No problem with fastpasses!!!

Now,this is going to look weird, but go with it. Because it's amazing.

My hair.....glows in blacklight!

Yup. That's my hair in that picture. Can't make anything else out.

Peter Pan taught me this valuable lesson on this day. And it continues to amuse me.

Bye bye Neverland!

Our dinner reservation was approaching, but we could make one more stop before heading over. Where would that be?

The most philharmagical place of all!

It's not time to put on your opry glasses yet!

Now it is!

I still absolutely love this attraction. One of my must do's every time. Jeni loved it, and couldn't stop laughing after the cork flies in your face. It scared the bejeezus out of her. It was pretty hysterical.

I had a girl next to me, late teens, early twenties perhaps. Man. Was she jumpy. Every time anything came up on the screen, she literally almost jumped out of her screen. However, it did make my viewing experience exponentially more enjoyable, because I could laugh at someone else's expense.

You guys do it too, don't lie!

Who could resist some duck butt on the way out? Not me.

We were just rounding the corner for the castle lighting ceremony on our way to our reservation.

Our destination?

Liberty Tree Tavern.

And this is the only food picture I have. Because apparently, we are a bunch of ravenous wolves, and we devoured the food before any thought came into my head.

I have to comment on the fact that Liberty Tree really needs to reconsider the size of their two top tables. Pretty much, if you're going to give people enough food to feed a small elephant, you need to have a table large enough to fit it on. Ours was not. I'm very surprised we did not have any major disasters during dinner.

Jeni and I commented that it was a good thing the Magic Kingdom was clearing out, because they were going to have to make room for our recently enlarged rear ends.

Everything at Liberty Tree Tavern is made much much yummier by adding gravy. I would dump gravy on absolutely everything.

Just not the dessert. That would be weird.

Oh. And the dessert!

So good. We weren't too full to eat this that's for sure!

After dinner, we took some more time to get shots of the castle. My absolute favorite time of year to see it.

And a fuzzy selfie.

We also headed over to Fantasyland to secure some fastpasses for The Undersea Adventure. Jeni and I were in love with it at this point, so of course we're going to try to get in multiple rides!

On our way back to Tomorrowland.

Jeni says "oooohhhh, that would be a great idea if they put the Cheshire Cat smile in that! BAM! They should pay me for that!" Hear that Disney! Pay us for our ideas.

This was our Tomorrowland destination.

I really want my Dad to be that guy someday. I thought for sure he might be in July, but my plan didn't work. :(

We found another photopass photographer on the way.

And decided it was time for us to take a ride on the Peoplemover.

I'm so puurrrrttttyyyy. Hahaha!

Jeni totally loved the Peoplemover and said she could just spend time riding around on it. I agree completely! Her conversion is almost complete.

There was a group of guys on the ride that were screaming and yelling the entire time. Like non-stop. So for our ride, this has now become "this is not a party train!"

Up next: The balloon that attacks me during Wishes!

You are on an update roll! :cool1:

Yup - those tables at LTT are definitely too small for all the dinner items. I'm sure it was yummy!

Cute pictures of the two of you! Lovely night time shots of the castle.

Sounds like you are having a blast!

Haha! I know. It appears to be what happens when I take a sick day.

The food was very yummy. I was just always fearful that I was going to knock something off the table.

The trip was so much fun. I love living through the memories.

BAHAHAHA. Glow in the dark hair. Nice!

Philharmagic is a TOTAL must do. The best darn 3D show anywhere. So so good. Plus enjoying the audience antics is so very enjoyable too.

I can't imagine how someone could not love the PeopleMover. I especially love it when it's just kinda coasting along then.... WHAM-O... the speed kicks in. :hyper:

My glow in the dark hair makes me very happy. :lmao:

I agree, Philharmagic is definitely the best show. It helps that Donald is my favorite. But I can't miss it on any trip, and never have.

That's the best part of the Peoplemover!

Totally awesome. I want Glow-in-the-blacklight hair!
I love PhilharMagic too, I really hate the queue, but I do love the attraction enough to wait in it every trip.
Your LTT food looks yummy!
I kind of wish you could buy a day pass to the Peoplemover. Just a pass that lets you sit and ride all day long without getting off. :lovestruc

A day pass for Peoplemover!? That's such an incredible idea. I would get one for sure.

The queue at Philharmagic definitely is underwhelming. But, thankfully, I've never had to actually wait in it for long.

LTT another never done for me- will have to get in there but probably for lunch.

Glow in the dark hair - :lmao: Cool . I still giggle when I am wearing white or something the black light makes glow. :thumbsup2

Donald's butt is a must have. :cool2:

I've actually only ever eaten at LTT for dinner, never for lunch. Lunch is definitely on my list, because the menu is different.

I am highly amused by my glowing hair still. And likely will continue to be so going forward. :lmao:

Great pics! :goodvibes

Thanks!

Oooo, you have Rapunzel hair, Danielle! I wish I was that cool. If only my hair was still blonde, probably would've glowed too.

PhilharMagic  And to think I missed it on my last trip! I'm a disgrace. LOL @ the jumpy lady, I'm pretty sure my mom acted the same way when we first saw it... or that was ITTBAB. Either way, that was what made those shows for me. :goodvibes Great Donald butt photo btw ;)

The Dream Lights :hyper: So pretty! And the Cheshire Cat idea: Golden. Maybe new theming for MNSSHP? Or just make it year round while they are at it? Disney better be reading this TR for some good ideas.

Your dad has not been "THAT GUY", WHAT?! There is definitely something wrong in the world here. The CMs at the Laugh Floor need to get it together.

PeopleMover, could totally ride that thing all day too. A nice relaxing ride, now, if only they had the original spiel! Seriously.

Can't wait to read about this balloon attack at Wishes lol! :mickeyjum

Too bad I don't have healing powers like Rapunzel! Because that would be awesome!

You MISSED PHILHARMAGIC?! Shame on you! ;)

I should send Disney a memo with my TR link so they can follow along for guidance.

Nope. He sadly has never been that guy. And he's such a prime target too!

I adore Mickey's Philharmagic! It is one of my must do's too! I have Liberty Tree Tavern as a lunch ADR in January and I am sitting on it trying to decide. I have heard so much about the toffee cake that I want to go for that alone!!

Me too! Philharmagic is a must do for me. I think I would cry if I missed it.

I have never done lunch, but I want to! Mainly because of the toffee cake that everyone talks about all the time. :lmao:

Who doesn't love a duck butt? I know I do hehe

Hahahaha. Clearly I do too!

"It's Another Planet Man, Another Universe"
Eddie - Empire Records

We left off having just ridden the Peoplemover. At this point, we had fastpasses to use on The Little Mermaid. (Second time that day! Woo hoo!!).

So, as we were walking past the teacups, Jeni and I had a conversation and in the end, she had to stop walking because I had her laughing so hard, she doubled over. I have to relay it to you, because.....well......it's funny!

She commented on the teacups and mentioned that you'd never see her on those, because she can't handle spinning rides. They make her physically sick. So I relayed my Chubasco story to her.

What is Chubasco you ask? Well, glad you did!

Chubasco is a ride at Six Flags Great America. And I used to work at Great America for six years. It was my first job and I loved working there.

Chubasco is like the teacups....just larger. You can fit like six adults in one of those cups.

Back in the day, I had friends that could spin Chubasco sooooooo fast, that the door would pop open and swing out the wrong way. Got it? So when you get in the cup, the door goes into the cup. But they could spin the cup so fast that the cup itself would expand, and the door would pop open and swing out the opposite direction.

It's physics people!

Well, this is the Chubasco story I told her:

"So my friends could spin it so fast that the door would pop open. Well, imagine me getting on this ride. They would get it going so fast, that I couldn't hold my head up anymore. It was that quick. So I had to crawl down into the cup so I could lean my head up against the back of the cup. That would help, because the centrifugal force was pushing me into the back of the cup.....all the while easing my mouth open and I couldn't close it! So the result of me spinning, with my head up against the wall, and me shouting 'aaaaahhhhhh! I'm droooooolllllliiiiiinnnnnngggg!' For real! I was drooling all over myself and I couldn't control it!!!!"

Yes. That was the story of the time I drooled all over myself. I have no shame.

Jeni literally fell on the ground laughing hysterically. Getting crazy looks from passersby. Seriously, you would have thought she was doing this instead of just laughing.

Anyhooooooooooo.....that kept us entertained until we got to our location.

So pretty pretty at night!

Water!!!!!!

I absolutely love that Flounder is all der!

Ursula is my favorite thing on this ride.

Bam! Got the whole heart!

Hallloooooo Beast's Castle!

After that, we decided it was time for us to get settled in for Wishes. We actually got a decent spot in the hub. It comes in very handy when you only have two people along.

They had the new projection show, which I hadn't seen yet. I won't kill you with pictures (they're not that great, and I didn't take tons. I just wanted to enjoy the show).

Totally reminds me of the 25th anniversary castle.

I am Merida!

The show ended and we were waiting for Wishes to start. Well, this lady was standing next to us with a stroller. And a balloon tied to the stroller. And I kid you not, this balloon was flapping in the wind and jacking me IN THE FACE THE ENTIRE TIME!

Really. See.

And the irritating part, is that the woman paid no mind that it was flapping around everywhere. At least hold on to it! Nope. I just had to get jacked over and over again.

Jeni was so excited, especially when Tinkerbell flew!

I took no pictures of the fireworks, because I just wanted to absorb it. This show makes me cry every time.

Well......it was during the show that I apparently have now turned into a crotchety old fart.

See, during the show, these two teenage boys that were standing by us were talking and complaining the whole time.

"This is cheesy."
"I can't believe we're standing around watching this."
"God, I hope it's over."

Okay. I was irritated. I don't need your chatter. I turned around and this is verbatim what I said to them.

"Dude....don't be a hater. If you don't like the show, you can go somewhere else. Stop ruining it for other people by talking constantly and hating on it!"

He looks at me, freaked out, and says "I'm just cold."

I'm sorry, maybe I was out of line, but for real. There are tons of people around you that are here to see it for the first time. They want to enjoy the show. They do not want to hear two teenagers complaining about how lame the show is.

Jeni thought it was AMAZING that I busted them out like that. I told her I was irritated. And that I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Up next: Face plant!!!!

You were jacked in the face by a balloon that changes color? I didn't know those things changed color.

Those castle pictures are lovely.

The pictures outside LM are also so pretty at night. I haven't ridden at night yet.

Your teacup on steroids story was pretty darn funny. Got a good belly laugh out of that one.

To the teenagers - they'll learn to appreciate it when they grow up a bit.
