Congratulations on 23 years together! It is quite an accomplishment and one that not many people get to experience. My DH and I were married when we were 18 and 19 and we had lots of people that felt compelled to tell us that we wouldn't last. We will be celebrating 20years in October! It's not always easy but we consider it one of our major accomplishments.

Even worse for my parents was 2 years later when they had another baby scare. I reminded my mother that if she or my dad were embarrassed to buy protection, they just needed to tell me and I'd get it for them.

When Jaime was in kindergarten, I told her she should take my DH in for show and tell. None of the other kids had a BIL, so that would be cool to show him off. Did Scott take you in to show off his SIL?

Actually, it wasn't until she was in 4th grade that she started to think it was cool to have ILs and a niece.

There are 24 years between she and I and 15 years between my formerly youngest sister and her.
