At the library, my morning stop to check my mail and the DIS. Verizon is supposed to be coming this morning, however when I left the house at 11:30 no sign of them. Oh we'll, baby steps hopefully this afternoon.

I just had to quickly stop in and say a big HELLO to PAS and the girls in Uni yeah for IOA -- one of my favourite parks!!! I hope you have a wonderful day.

Sheila: I hope your trip is amazing! I can understand the alternation between excitement and indifference....that's what happened with me on my last trip, but I am putting faith in the fact that I still have Disney Love and my next trip will be better!

Good news -- I booked my cousin from England for May 19 to 30 at Animal Kingdom Lodge, savanah view bunk beds with the deluxe dining plan!!! His boys are 16, 9 and 7
Now all I have to do is help him plan park days and dining with that deluxe plan!!! how fun!! I'm a tad jealous, LOL

Janet I am so very sorry to hear about DS friend. Life is so very fragile and so precious. You are all in my thoughts and prayers especially Anna's family may they find some small comfort during this most terrible time.

You did the right thing by posting about Anna, Janet. So true that we never really know with some folks what's going on inside when pain/sadness can be veiled with a smile or laugh.

Janet- so sorry to hear about ds's friend ...it is difficult being a teen/young adult sometimes these days.

My friends, thank you all ... Anna's service was last night...many friends and extended family were there so hopefully her parents and brother were comforted by the outpouing of love and support. Remembrances were tearful and uplifting as well, remembering her gentle spirit and kindness (and her funny side) she showed to all....pictures of her with family and friends were everywhere... here is one of my DS and Anna, in happier times...

You are all an amazing group ... checking the DIS and reading your messages has helped my spirits today, so thank you from my heart.

I am HERE!!!

Things have been crazy here on the east coast. As most of you know, I am from the Jersey shore. We now live in northern VA but my entire family is on the Jersey shore....the REAL Jersey shore. Things have been crazy..... to say the least.

On a nicer note.....we are planning a December trip. Yes, we are the dreaded "Pop Warner" folks. My son's team will be playing in the regional championships this week-end. We are slated to win. If we/when we do, we will be in Orlando (Disney) for Pop warner week. I have never been during the winter (Alway, Always Augist/Sept/October. ) I have already booked a candlelight processional dinner just in case we win. Trying to get my classroom in order so that I will have a peaceful winter Disney vacation. I am OOOBER excited....

Thank you Janet for sending me the link. Can't neglect my RC Homeys.

Step: Happy that you had a chance to pop in! Hope your extended family in NJ is recovering and getting the assistance they need. Peacefulness is overrated at times... Good luck to your DS and his team!

Basically the owner of the firm always referred to DH as his partner (DH Is even listed on the website as co-founder) and had a verbal agreement but you know how those go. it really wasn't a typical business relationship and DH never had any type of contract. I mentioned last week this man (the owner/partner) is bipolar and just makes horrible decisions, well this was one of those those decisions. In the long run it may all work out and be better but right now DH just feels blind sided and not sure what his future holds with the new owners

So I had the AP rate added to BOTH of my Feb resies I have them back to back so CRO has not caught on that I am double booked, lol! Ah the life if an RC'er! I was disappointed with the rates, I was hoping for more. It only turned about to be about $10/nt savings over the visa/GP Rate, but I figured $40 buys us a QS meal.

Hi everyone!!!!

I was wondering why the thread was so quiet, LOL.

Ok, so now I'm thinking of 2 WDW vaca's next year! One during Sept when we like to go and one for my bday in May, the "BIG" 3-0!!!! So, decisions, decisions. If we did both trips we wouldn't get to stay at Poly for either. I just need to work out some #'s to figure out what would work.
