You're the first person I've ever seen (besides me) that wears Brooks Ariel. I love them!! They are soooo comfortable.

I bought a pair of Brooks Addiction's (basically the men's version of the Ariel) a couple months before our WDW trip. I've got very flat feet and had decided to go to a specialty shop and get a good motion control shoe. They felt great, but after taking some long walks in them, they hurt my feet. I think it's because I wasn't used to having so much support on the inside of the foot. So I ended up searching for several weeks before our trip and not finding anything else in my size that felt good. I ended up going to some of the outlet stores after we arrived in Orlando and bought some Nike Air Max Assail's in a wide size. Added some of the cheap double air-pillow insoles and that was much better. I did alternate with wearing my cheap Teva knockoffs a couple of days. I have gotten used to my Brooks now and they feel great as long as I don't wear them for more than a few hours, so definitely not my choice for WDW.

Got home Sunday night from a 9 day stay in WDW. I brought 4 pairs of shoes with me....my Easy Spirit sneaks, Lands End sport sandals, leather Clark slip-ons, and my Crocs (beach style). Well, I left the Easy Spirits in the trash in my room (they were old anyway but really uncomfortable), wore the Lands End sandals just once (wore them non-stop last Aug. in WDW), the leather Clarks were worn home on the plane...but my Crocs? Wore them every single day...almost all day in the parks. Never got sweaty, never got a blister. My legs got tired of course but it was about 94 degrees with about 90% humidity!

My dd, 11, never took her Crocs off. She had two other pair of shoes but they didn't get worn...ever. We got many comments on our shoes. About 7 people asked where they could get them...funny looking yes, but comfy. I was really surprised they were so comfy. We did see a pair of lime green ones just before the IllumiNations Dessert party. Figured it was one of 'us' but that wasn't the case.

I'm voting for my K Swiss Verstad Sandal!

It's like an open-toed sandal sneaker (if that makes any sense). Anyway, these were so comfortable. I always get blisters I brought an entire 'blister care' package and didn't even need it. Not one blister all week! And no aching feet! :teeth:

My vote goes for Reebok Princess walking shoes. I think they are the most comfortable shoes on the planet, no seams to rub against my poor arthritic feet!!!LOL!!! I like sandals, and wearing shoes & socks at WDW can get kind of sweaty (I read in these boards about spraying antiperspirant on your feet and I do that at WDW, it works) but I could NEVER wear sandals a full day in the parks. I need that cushioned support. I envy those who can!

Us too. We are a Reebok family. We just purchased new Reebok's for the whole family on Sunday.

We just returned from 12 days at WDW, I wore Teva Pretty Rugged Leather everyday. Not one blister not even a sore spot, if anyone had told me I could do that kind of walking comfortably I would never have believed them. I have very wide feet with very high arches, I have had alot of foot pain the last 4-5 years. I was so pleased, they made for our best trip ever. I realize not everyones feet are the same. I also used Bodyglide, not sure if it made a difference or not but I'm not going to go againsnt what worked.

Columbia Surf Tide sandals!

I can't believe I brought *new* shoes to the World (was I nuts? ), but I did, and I wore them for four days and they were great!

I used to wear my Teva Pretty Rugged sandals but they died last trip (all the cushion was worn out after five years), and I couldn't bring myself to pay $70+ for a new pair.

Found the Columbia Surf Tides at Rack Room Shoes on sale for $35 and they rocked.

I have neuropathy in my toes, and rely on my saucony "running" shoes (the lightweight ones with the mesh) for power walking days.

Still looking for the perfect sandals--i have the nike straprunners, which are okay, but feel mushy in the rain.

Hoping to find a crocs store in florida when we're there because at a 7.5 shoe size I'm afraid I'll be right in between

I wore my Teva Olowahu flip-flops every day of my 10 day trip last June. I couldn't believe how well my feet did in them - the soles are soft and cushy, but shaped for support. Also this particular model has an extra "criss-cross" kind of strap, so it takes no extra effort from your toes to hold them on, like regular flip-flops require.
