I have gotten 2 e-mails so far on this whole Katrina thing. And what is so annoying...no matter what your opinion is..I respect it. But if you are going to spread a blatant, false information that is so provable as false...then you are an idiot. And yes, I trust snopes more than I trust someone who can't check facts.

The latest---I know Blanco is democrat and I "think" Nagin is....so this e-mail came from a "pro-Bush all the way no matter what" kind of guy.....and while I have no problems with anyone thinking Bush did no wrong...it was a blatant "Bush is perfect and look how the Dem's screwed up e-mail" that was plagued with LIES.

Good grief! Don't go making the conservatives look bad. Like we need any help .


(This is not a political post btw, I'm not arguing the merits of anything except something such as state of emergency never declared...but alas, it was declared on friday, by Blanco type of stuff!).

Well I deleted the first one and then e-mailed this person back on the 2nd one. This spam originates with an "I know someone" in Merritt Island...which is about 20 minutes from me.

So ladies and gentleman--the idiots from the space coast will be plaguing your e-mail box.

And it was my hubby's friend who e-mailed it....I had to e-mail hubby to let him know what I said...but man, was I mad!

Same here. I have one person in particular who always eMails me something along the following lines every week:

OK, this is soooooooo scary but it's absolutley true!

If you forward this to a zillion people in the next fifteen minutes, your soul mate will order you a pizza!!!!

Try it, it really works!!!!!!

If you don't forward it to anyone you will never have any luck in love/life/you will die.

Kids, just say NO to spam.

well it wasn't written that way--but yes, it was "spammy". the first line was just too close to my locale and I'm not used to spam originating from here.

I make liberal use of my spam jammer in my email and delete anything that I don't know who something came from. Otherwise I'd have something like 300 e-mails a day from people who think I'm gullible enough to actually buy into their crap.
